We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. A beautiful village pub. Big car park with overflow parking. Outside seating is nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Drinks and food arrived within 20 minutes. Gammon on skillet and Sunday Roast Beef were delicious and filling, top value for money. We made the right decision to have a nice relaxing meal here rather than the busy motorway services. Locals were also friendly. I will not hesitate stopping here again.

Despite loosing the quiz on a tiebreak, had a great time. Instead of a question it was who could make a paper plane and throw it the furthest 🤣 Think mine was aerodynamiclly sound but alas I came second. Good food beforehand and a good selection of ales.

Excellent meal, lovely pint. A bit of a wait to put my food order in at the bar (over 10 minutes) (if your disabled like me I advise get Greene King app and order from your table), the pub was about a quarter full. Lots of other activities and entertainments.

Having been here a number of times I knew what to expect but the great thing about this place is, it never disappoints! The menu has something for all tastes, there are a plethora of wonderful dishes to choose from. Each day has a different special offer, make sure to check prior to your visit! The covid security is second to none throughout the entire building, with extra seating provided outdoors now to enable social distancing. Orders are made via Greene King app which is very straightforward and easy to use. We are already planning a return visit on Friday as it is 25% off challenges!!

Went in for Sunday roast , admittedly we never booked and had to sit outside.. we both ordered beef , mine was OK but wife's was obviously last of the joint and was inedible. Returned it and ordered chicken instead, chicken was OK but the rest was tough as old boots. Did refund but very disappointed 😞.

Cracking food here always. Took the mixed grill challenge which was sooo good! It did hurt and I was food comatosed for 24 hours but definetly worth it. Will always come back here and looking forward to it reopening after the refurbishment.

We have been going to the Plough for over 25 years, both with family and friends and work colleagues. The food has been excellent on each visit. The atmosphere is good and the staff go over and above to makesure everything is ok for you. I would definitely recommend the Plough in Warrington.

Googled Greene King as I was unfamiliar with the area and wanted somewhere for us to go for tea. The Plough looked just the job. As always with Greene King I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and with two mains for 10.99 it was incredible value. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice food with good food usually, however after visiting in December 2019 I got food poisoning. Eaten there several times before so it was hopefully just a one off but it's still put me off eating there for a while. The staff are friendly and they have a great selection of drinks. Very nice beer garden for the summer. Edit: I've gone back a few times and not had any repeated issues with the food so looks like it was a one off. Updated the rating.

Loved it. My daughter and I went for a meal last Monday. The food was fantastic, the service was great. The lady serving us was lovely. She kept checking that we were OK. 100% recommend this pub! Just happened to be passing while out for the day 70 mile from home. The staff are really kind and welcoming. The food is outstandingly good and quick! We had our starters, mains and deserts all done and finished with within the hour! We was over that way again a couple of weeks later and made a detour on the way home to return here!

I would just like to say what lovely staff the plough have, nothing is too much for them, I frequent the plough often and the staff go all out to ensure customers get what they deserve, I’d like to mention a certain member of staff who works her socks off every shift her name is Lettie, what an inspiration she is to other members and customer’s, so polite and friendly, certainly knows her job, well done Lettie. Also Dan, Becky, Tom and Josh, Shirley and Mike, great team, keep it up.

Can get pretty busy but that's to be expected. Service is always top drawer and prices reflect the quality. It's a go to place if you want something not too expensive. Oh, you will not get phone signal inside most of the building, be forewarned, you may have to talk to each other!

Have been several times for lunch and the food has been excellent, service good and surroundings quite pleasant. On two occasions though we have found it too cold to eat without keeping our coats on. We did a QA with a legend experience. The QA session lasted about an hour and everyone was given the opportunity to get an autograph and a picture with the legend. The legend, Ian Callaghan had some brilliant, and often amusing, tales and answers to questions. The icing on the cake was when he got out his England 1966 world cup winners medal and we could all hold it and take pictures again. For the rest of the stadium tour you were given an interactive tablet with headphones which guided you around the tour. You are free to do it at your own pace. Our experience also allowed access to the LFC museum and they had someone on hand to take a picture of you with all 6 European cups! The whole experience was very well organised and plenty of people on hand if you neded to ask anything. A fabulous day out and a must for any LFC supporter!
