B. O.Fantastic local pub. Young talented management couple with great staff. Got rid of previous legacy issues of drugs and poor service under old management . Lovely atmosphere and welcoming of all backgrounds , genders and sexual orientation. Excellent value and range of drinks with BT and Sky Sports. Quiz nights, Karaoke, pool, darts, dominoes. Well worth a visit, head and shoulders the best local around, if you haven’t yet give it a try .Well done team keep it up !!!

K. C.I popped into the Royal Oak on Sunday for a Gin & Tonic. It has just been refurbished (looks great) there is a new landlord, who greeted me with a smile good banter & most of all ,a choice of several gins & excellent tonic at half the price of my local. Good look to you & the staff, keep up the good work.
E. M.Looking much better now it's had a makeover! It was quite busy as they were accommodating for people who had attended neighbourhood Weekender at Victoria Park, but staff were friendly and waiting times were short despite a busy bar. Sounded like karaoke was happening in the other side of the pub too.
J. C.Good night out. But in doing a make over the wall seats were taken out which has taken away being able to socialise with your friends around you. All separate and some having to stand around tables. Strange because they left them in the bar side ?
