Upped its game. Now probably one of the best in the area. Great food. Great service. Sunday roast is just bang on. Probably our new go to eatery. 100%

Lovely staff and surroundings. Good selection of drinks. Good standard of service. Warm on a very cold day. Food good but chips are frozen and too fluffy. Excellent coffee. Will go again but not for a gourmet experience.

We had our usual small fish and chips plus a drink. Have been many times before. Today my wife's meal perfect mine the fish was micro small I should have asked for a replacement. As usual it was delicious. If it happens next time I will bring it to there attention.

Popped in for a meal prior to a gig in Delamere Forest. Food was very tasty although service was a little slow in getting us menus and drinks, despite only having five other customers.
Tiny choice of non alcoholic adult drinks and ran out of the one I like after one bottle!
Location is lovely and pub is well maintained.

Lovely evening spent here enjoying good food and good company.
Guest Eagle IPA a bit disappointing.
Nachos nice once the dips arrived after having to ask, pudding list not very inspiring.
Setting is beautiful and staff very friendly; On any other evening could have been 5*

We are away on holiday and unaware of any eatery places. I googled food near where we are staying and chose The Carriers Inn as it was close to where we were staying. The food was excellent. Hot fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent. The portion size was amazing, we opted for the "small plate" which was more than enough. I would deffo recommend 👌 👍

Great country pub with large beer garden and new outdoor seating area, ideal if you are visiting Delamere Forest or staying at the campsite. Friendly staff and good food from the slightly reduced menu. We had lunch and a new addition to the menu mesquite Chicken which was yummy. Garden also dog friendly with water and free dog biscuits

Our new local, been here a few times now and the food is always amazing. We came in tonight as a party of 5 for Christmas party meal 4 of us had a 3 course meal and my son had his nachos.
Literally the nicest food I've had In a long time didn't get any pictures because we were too busy enjoying the food

Only called in here for a drink. So can't comment on food hence 4 star rating. Beer garden has a stunning view of the mere. Outdoor seating under cover really nice.

Lovely place with good home cooked food. Staff were friendly and and helpful. We have a motorhome and it is free to stay the night in the car park, which was quite and we had a peaceful nights sleep. This is just down the road from all of the Delamere Forest car parks an attractions so overall a great place to come.
