S. L.A lovely local pub, great food, nice atmosphere and fantastic outdoor area. Only down fall is that they used to do the most huge teapot of tea but now they only do it by the cup.

Reasonable choice of beers.
Food good. Full marks for a proper pie, not a bowl of stew with a piece of pastry on top! Steak filling very tender and in a rich, thick gravy.
Peas rock hard though so lost a star for that.

M. T.Fantastic..turned up without a booking. A lovely welcoming young lady with coloured hair met me at the door. Very polite and welcoming. Food fab, I had to apologise as couldn't finish my main as I had a starter. Didn't want the chef worrying it was their food..certainly not. Next time I'm at the premier inn down the road forget the meal deal I'm off to the dog and partridge. Well done guys wonderful. Stay Safe everyone

M. B.A trad eatery serving a reduced menu (covid) but no reduction in quality! from our perspective the number and thro' put of customers speaks volumes. This pub is no more expensive than its lesser neighbours, a good place to eat!

C. J.Great pub, very traditional menu. Food was great. Very hard to wash hands in the toilet as the taps are too far away from the sink, had to wash them by rubbing the water running down side of sink, bit of a strange design.

c. 1.There are three doors to the pub two front and one at the back leading to the kid's play area, The two to the front are left to the pool and darts side and the right to the best side, Both require you to go one step-up to get in, And there is plenty of car parking space there.
This is a very nice place to go for all occasions, May it be for a quick drink a full Sunday dinner or a party that you could book there, In any case i think most people would have a nice time there.
K.Great atmosphere and team; always friendly and welcoming. Dexter's done a great job turning this place around from what it was a few years ago. Very little nerr'do wells in here now (apart from some weird fella with a ginger bird).

L. P.Sunday roast lunch, OUTSTANDING, I've been many times & I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to cook on Sunday. I payed for 2 roast diners, a pint & a half pint that cost £22 & some odd change, great value for money. Famy friendly with a children's ay area at 5bs rear where there's also a deck where you can sit to keep an eye on them.

D. C.Lovely place and the beer garden is a nice sun trap. However the kids play area is dangerous, most apparatus is worn, broke and dilapidated, with screws or rusty nails stuck out is an accident waiting to happen (or a claim!)...sort it out and it will attract families again
