Reviews of O'Neill'S Watford
K. “. m. a. M.
Right next to Watford Junction station, so a great pit stop if your are heading to or from London. Loads of seating indoor and out. Food was great. We ordered some wraps and for the kids ice creams and fish Goujons. All was good.
J. G.
Went for a day trip and popped in here on the way back. Right next to Watford Station. Bar lady was lovely and really welcoming! Food was beautiful. Everyone already started there food hence no other pics of food but 10/10... bar is quirky and I enjoyed my time there... footy was on too 😉
P. W.
A little pricier than I'm used to but the food is good and the beer is cold! Can get incredibly busy very quickly and have been unable to get served within 30 minutes in the past but with so many students locally that's going to happen occasionally. Hoping it isn't too regular an occurance in future visits!
D. Y.
The food is good and if ordered on QR code at table arrives timely. App can be a bit temperamental. All the vegan/veggie tapas unavailable (except chips) and staff said "I don't know you'll have to ask the shift manager I'm just a team member" when asked any question.
Veggie sausages main not bad at all, sadly not fresh veg but packet/frozen steamed with it. Curly fries a nice additonal.choice. Macaroni cheese wasn't bad. Fish n chips ok.
Prices not too bad at all.
Staff mostly surly and slow. The Shift Mgr was the only one who smiled and looked like they/she wanted to be there. Slightly put us off staying but we were there with friends who had a young kid being babysat and needed to stay local.
Busy for a Wednesday early Eve to night.
£65 for 4 mains, one starter and 3 alcoholic & 1 soft drink. Good value
r. m.
Stopped on way to WB Harry Potter. Food was beautiful. Very reasonable price. Lovely venue. Pleasant staff and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend a visit while you wait for The Harry Potter shuttle bus.
L. D.
Went for a karaoke night with friends as the usual place we go to was closed that night. This is a good pub, the karaoke was done well. However I mark them down a bit as a man fell asleep in the pub (understandable) and yet for a whole hour, members of staff were coming around collecting glasses and would walk past him, see that he was asleep and ignore this. I work in a pub and I know it is part of the job to ensure the customers are OK and in this case the man could well have needed help. Luckily when he did wake up, he was OK.
B. M.
Very nice pub just outside Watford Junction Railway Station. A perfect pit stop before Harry Potter Tour. Good food and cold beer :). It's clean and the prices are significantly lower than London pubs
A. V.
Nice pub, for people in my age maybe a bit to loud and young :-) mostly young people around here and a lot of vibrant life - but they have also good beers on tap, could be more craft/microbrews on. Food is excellent and after dinner one can enjoy a good whiskey - i like it, makes me feel not too old :-)
R. J.
If you're just out of the station and want a pint on the way home, this is perfect. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Gets a little rowdy on a Friday/Saturday but really great spot.
i. w.
I've been here multiple times and had a great night. Today however was different. Due to the fact I smoke roll ups I was approached by security after a member of staff accused me of smoking weed! Very upsetting. The glass collectors are very young and clearly inexperienced. On this occasion they got it very wrong. Security and management dealt with it very well. But the young glass collectors - I'm not impressed with, the dirty looks I received (from young glass collecters) after confronting security and manager was the cherry on top. 0 stars for them. Top marks for security and the manager.
m. r.
Was here to celebrate a colleague leaving party. Overall night was fun, front drinking area not too bad and food was actually quite tasty.. However:
1) drinks are expensive and you can get a better buck elsewhere
2) While the burger was big and worth the £11, the started mushrooms.... £6 for 5-8? Expensive
3) Bouncers kicking us out for, cheering one of us downing a pint? I mean, that's normal for a pub at 21:00??? No neighbors, it's a Friday, it's a normal night...... And it's not like we've been roudy all night/evening, most of the evening we were just talking at normal volume and we stuck to our tables all night.
What a shame, spend so much money and then kicked up for being a normal pub crowd. If you can't stand people cheering, then don't work at a pub. That simple.
S. M.
Excellent food & Excellent Drinks.. staff very friendly
Highly Recommended... stop off.. thankyou
F. K.
On our way back from wb harry potter tour we enjoyed a great meal at O'Neills. Our kids loved the burgers. Service was friendly and the app to pass the orders worked smoothly, thanks from a swiss family
D. M.
2 weeks ago I gave the O'Neill's 1 star due to numerous bad experiences because of poor staff. I was offered to contact Adam directly to discuss, which I did. He has gone above and beyond to give us a good experience on our return, thank you. Way too often 'hospitality' management don't really care or want to better things and just say 'NEXT' and then wonder why takings are down.As I said before and I hope senior management see this, he should have the managers job full time, it' a better run place when he's working.
D. F.
Stopped by O'Neill's in Watford for dinner. I ordered the Cheese and Bacon with chips and washed it down with a pint of cold Guinness. This pub and grub had a warm ambiance about it. The relatively soft lighting was perfect for this type of pub. The Irish and Gaelic items on display uplifted the atmosphere with Irish flair. COVID naturally has placed a damper on most businesses and unfortunately that's why I gave this pub four stars instead of five. Although the pub sprayed and wiped down tables after they were used by patrons, and had taken precautions to keep patrons distanced from one another. The workers themselves, from what I observed, didn't wear any masks to drive down the risk of spreading COVID. In spite of this one thing, I would definitely come back again given how much effort they put into combating the virus during these challenging times.
M. M.
Lovely Irish pub. Great food, friendly staff. A cut above the rest. The new manager has made a huge difference.
n.
Such a friendly environment, staff were lovely and food was really good. I recommend the pizzas!!
E. D.
Delicious food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and quick service. We will be back soon
E.
Not normally a big fan of chain pubs but I liked this one I couldn't fault the food(though the portions could be bigger) beer or staff and the prices were reasonable, also a good atmosphere in the pub
N. B.
Prices here are at the higher end of reasonable but they are still good.
Staff are rational and understanding.
DJ Dan has been great with specific requests on a Thursday. I have been performing Live there for many weeks now and he is very good at what he does. Management is often effective. They and the other staff get things done
C. T.
Nice food and venue, with friendly staff as well. Super convenient location being next to the railway station. Great food and beverage deals too
M. R.
Just going around UK. Amazing place, amazing food! Thank you! Greetings from Lithuania
A.
Lovely place right next to station with wonderful staff
S. B.
Absolutily lovely service great food and friendly staff. Came here as at Academy tomorrow and 1st i was greated by the KM and GM who were extremily friendly and helpfull with parking Exc. Then after checkinv in to hotel i came back for food i asked for the ladys (on recept REBECCA) recommendation on Pizza and what a lovely recomendation lovely and spicey. Couldnt fault the place nice and large with plenty of staff and choices.
Thank you all
S. F.
Really enjoyed a couple of pints in the front, watching the world go by,.Good service, good food cooked to perfection.
t.
Amazing location, good, very reasonable priced food and drink. Actually much cheaper than Cheshire.
D. D.
A funny old place. Welcoming and fairly clean having since been refitted, but it was quite clear the staff were overwhelmed with the number of orders coming in which was making them stressed. A lot of the selection was unavailable.
A.
Visiting from the US and I had a great time here. Decent food, great beer and people.
J. W.
Very very loud. Described as family friendly, had a kids menu but felt more of an adult venue. Loud music and Saturday afternoon revellers. If that's what your after then it was pretty good! Food was standard.
C. E.
Good size, nice range of drinks and close enough to the station to squeeze in an extra few ;)
M. B.
A friendly fully equipped pub. There is a good range of non alcoholic drinks too. Friendly and polite staff. The food looked good, although I did not dine here.
m. b.
Great meeting place with friends. Had our own reserved table. Food was nicely prepared. Partner had Tuna pannini, I had a cheese burger. Excellent service by staff. Bouncers kept order, but there was no troubles.
S. J.
Good pub with ample seating and pool tables. Went on a Saturday night and they were playing chart music and 80s music. Music was too loud if you want to have a natter, but perfect if you want a l casual bar setting.
M. G.
Stopped here for lunch whilst waiting for a train to Birmingham. Friendly and helpful service and we'll balanced lunchtime menu.
Y. M.
Group of nine of us ate here today. Food arrived very quickly. Everyone's food looked good and all enjoyed their meals. STAFF WERE BRILLIANT, VERY HELPFUL. Only criticism is that the pub was cold. Would definitely come again.
E. G.
You can order and pay at your table via smartphone. Fast service and great taste of food.
R. C.
Very well located place, right outside the station which has a good outdoor space, an attractive indoor area and a decent menu. It's consistently reliable and the portions are generous.
h. h.
James ,what great service he gave us at this venue.Toni was the cocktail queen, she nailed it and so efficient. Well done Team Watford 👏 👍
p. m.
Excellent food, great value for money and very friendly staff. Have already returned for a second helping.
M. m.
Excellent pub, bar, great refurbishment, I remember the bar 🍸 before O'Neil the flag sorry about the spelling, that was a great bar but O,NEILLS IS AWESOME, THANK YOU 😊.
j. w.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere, amazing artist!
J. F.
We were greeted by a chap in the door and he was welcoming, professional and super friendly. The atmosphere was great and the place was clean. Ordering was easy enough using their app and the food came in a timely fashion and was delicious. Beer tastes good, so I am betting they do regular line cleans. Overall, fantastic experience and if I am in Watford again, I will go back to O'Neill's.
B. S. F.
Absolutely great friendly staff. Only Scotsman in pub during Germany v England and felt very much at home.
M. M.
Solid food served in Irish pub atmosphere. Diverse menu. Counter service
J.
Staff were nice, atmosphere was cosy. Food wasnt bad, I had the southern fried chicken burger which was a bit dry and it had a strange big Mac sauce on it. Easy ordering through a mobile app, I would go again if I was in the area as it wasn't badly priced and I had a pleasant visit.
R. P.
Next door to Watford Junction Station this pub is both large and has a big music room as well that is very good. However the loo's were terrible plus some of the flooring had risen up and had safety tape stuck all over it. It's also expensive plus I had to wait nearly a quarter of an hour to get served.
There are better places in Watford though at quieter times it may be ok.
C. G.
This pub was phenomenal, from start to finish. Great, cosy atmosphere (even on a Monday evening!) staff are friendly, food was on point (the Veggie pizza is a must) great selection of beers. Get yourself in, kid!
K. L.
A group of 15 of us visited yesterday between midday and 6pm and had a brilliant experience. We were looked after superbly by Emma. She was efficient, friendly and very patient when some of our group were ordering their drinks at the same time. What an asset to the pub. Well done. I would definitely recommend this pub to you all.
k. M.
Fantastic night with such a talented live band. Loads of pool tables. Something for everyone. I danced all night. Will definitely be back
I. R.
Brilliant Pub. Great staff, very friendly. Superb attention paid to social distancing, felt really safe in this current climate. Great range of drinks, superb food and for my partner a great vegetarian range. The decor is shabby Americana, really pleasing. Great location too. Would recommend this venue to everyone that enjoys a pleasing, relaxed atmosphere, with great service and superb, and reasonably priced food.. a 9 out of 10 from me.
p. m.
Just next to the station. The place is big, lots of variety of foods and its delicious. I had Veggie sausages with colcannon....
D. W.
Food is always great, love the fish finger wrap
E. D. S.
Friendly staff- simple nice food! :)
S. G.
Love this pub. Great staff, great regulars, great atmosphere. Plus the food caters for a lot of people and the booze is always worth a try. Always feel at home here and it's certainly worth an hour on the bus for me to get there
M. B.
Nice pub and great staff. Usually fairly busy with a great atmosphere. Drink is London prices but they have no shortage of punters.
A. S.
Here's a great place with good atmosphere.
As with many venues in Watford - parking may be an issue but there's pay display private parking right behind the pub.
Also it's close to the train station for if you don't fancy parking.
Enough viewing facilities to keep you entertained if you're out watching a match with company.
J. H.
Great staff very professional and made the visit a special treat. Recommend anyone to visit. Great food and excellent service. Remember when the pub was The Flag which was good but the O'Neill's flag tops that. Thanks guys.
S. A.
Not a great pub goer but it was a pleasant enough experiance.
p. d.
Atmosphere was very good lively and noisy ,prices on par with other pubs .I had the Guinness steak pie chips and veg ,unfortunately the pie was disappointing with a lot of fat which was a shame as the pastry was very tasty, solid and crusty ,the wife had a medium steak which she says was excellent
P. G.
Barstaff could be better at seeing who came to the bar first.
J. R.
Great modernised pub with friendly staff and lovely food. Very spacious front garden which is a perfect stop off for a cold beer on a hot day. App service was also very quick. 👍
R.
Great live music room and selection of spirits. Quite pricey at around £4.50 a pint but expected.
D.
Went to see our daughters partner play in his band callaine, good evening but drinks are pricey
K. S.
Ok on match day, not overly crowded and with football on numerous TV's which is always good.
P. U.
This pub has a nice atmosphere, a lot of different spaces to sit in - the main bar area, balcony, front beer garden, gig room and has a car park.
It does get crowded on Friday evenings so you could be waiting a while to be served, but they do also have an app which drinks can be ordered from as well, very handy!
A. T.
Great pub, good beer and the ginger fella behind the bar was a good laugh!
Nice atmosphere I would come again!
A. B.
The pub is ideally suited for commuters and is always busy.
The menu is divers and has some great beers and spirits.
I have been when there have been live acts and when it has been super busy.
With lockdown and social distancing demands the pub has risen to the challenge, on my last visit the host was nowhere to be seen, having to wait to be seated, choosing to sit of my own volition. The staff were quick to remedy this, and sorted the greeter issue.
You should definitely visit this pub after lockdown it's the first pub you'll encounter in Watford and it's one of the better offerings.
R. M.
Great evening
Stayed away and stumbled across this place, loved the atmosphere, the food and the service was great.
The wife can be picky but will certainly be trying to find another when we get home.
J. L.
I've been back to this pub again recently and the app seems to have been improved. The menu was rather limited but I imagine that is because of the current Covid restrictions and to be honest most of the people sat around us were only drinking. Perhaps now you can eat and drink inside that might change.
a. a.
Food was ok nothing to shout about but you get what u pay for
S. M.
Great place, good friendly staff and lovely food
C. G.
Best fish and chips I've ever had. Massive portions. Also enjoyed the battered mushroom starter with blue cheese. All washed down with a pint of Guinness!! Was so full I didn't need to eat again for the rest of the day. Set us up for our visit to Warner bros studio for Harry Potter tour. Very reasonably priced. Very clean. Friendly staff. Quick service and will definitely return again when back in London.
M. J.
Cheap, cheerful. Ideal first stop pre Watford FC when coming from a distance
A. C.
Good

We came here after spending most the day at the Harry Potter studio's and we were staying in a nearby hotel and me and my family wanted something decent to eat and to also serve as a birthday meal for myself.
We found ourselves a table, and ordered some drinks at the bar.
They have a great selection of food and drinks here! And to top it off the staff deliver a really friendly and genuine service!
They will have a conversation with you whilst trying to decide and also allow you taste certain drinks to make sure you order something you'll actually like!
The food here was really nice too! I ordered myself a steak and it was lovely!
We would've ordered some deserts but sadly we tried to order a lil bit too late and the kitchen was closed! But even so we had a great meal in what is a nice family friendly pub.
J. B.
Great spot to watch sports. Rugby in one side and football in a separate area. Atmosphere was good, drink service was quick. Due to so many customers in to watch the Six nations on saturday, I think that may have accounted for the slightly slow food service. But all in all a great spot
A. P.
Good location. Nice Guinness
J. H.
The service was fantastic, absolutely friendly and lovely team
N. S.
We came here for a quick drink after visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour and found a seat straight away. The heaters were on so it was nice and warm and cosy, a nice contrast to the cold outside. My friends went to the bar and came back very quickly so were obviously served with speed. Enjoyable atmosphere with many enjoying the football. Would return again.
A. K.
Big pub, busy when we visited on football day, but excellent service. Plenty of seats even when busy. Good selection of real ales, and well kept. Tempted to give 5 stars, but a bit too cosmopolitan to have an atmosphere of it's own
D. W.
Absolutely loved this pub. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good drink. Would love to visit when they have live music on.
P. T.
What a difference Great place to visit .Covid secure protocol in place . excellent service .friendly staff .great selection of beers spirits & wine ..Brilliant foods especially the share platter great value ..plenty of seating outside ..& indoors ...& Right next to Watford Junction station ....heat trap what better way than to pop in & have a chilled beer ect ...
I.
Clean, good atmosphere and service
J.
Conveniently located Irish chain pub, right next to Watford Junction station. However, this convenience is reflected in their prices.
The place seems to be a bit understaffed when I've visited, as staff were brusque. However, the food was decent, for pub food, and the decor quite nice.
The venue is quite spacious, with plenty of tables outside and space for pool tables in a room at the back, if pub sports are your thing.
M. M.
My new best pub. Thankyou
B. S.
Looks really smart after the refurb. Very close to the station and a decent sized car park at the back. Great outside seating area to enjoy, as well as vibrant live music room. All the boxes are ticked! Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Great food available, which is reasonably priced. Busy place, so sometimes have to wait, but they have an app which you can download, and get your drinks delivered to your table very quickly.
M. G.
It can get very busy so takes a little while to get served. The food is good, typical chain pub kind of grub. They have live music at the weekends. They have a good sized car park round the back but you must put your registration into the system in the pub.
L. v. D.
Went here for lunch after the HP studio tours. Good food and nice interior. Pay and order at the bar.
d. m.
Great place for music and fun 😊
M. P.
Open at 10am, which is your only option if you don't want to give your money to that Tim blert.
j. m.
Great food and a good pint, nice cocktails as well.
Good atmosphere
N. s.
Best service. What a lovely bunch of staff!!
A. U.
Others may see this place as "just a pub" but for us it was a family meal place after visiting Harry Pottet (and staying at nearby hotel).
Very impressed with a large meniu plus a separate print for vegetarians and vegans - with quite a good choice of food too!
Spacious and cosy pub. Great location for many. Superb staff members and their customers service skills. Very patient and passionate about their job.
Thank you for making our stay welcome. Shame kitchen closed earlier than we planned - didn't manage to get the desserts.
There's a separate entry for disabled customers and table sizes vary from very tall to very long. Plus, the outside garden. Facing the street though.. who cares - all go their for food and drink.
T. S.
Went on a night with outside service only. Once you've downloaded the app it's pretty plain sailing. Plenty of staff to keep the drinks flowing.
A. K.
from the start we had come through to Euston from Worthing and decided to take a detour to Watford as it is know for its beautiful architecture, and to pure expectations the beautiful building that towers over the station known as O’Neill’s is standing there like a golden gate in our presence, on entering the building we are approached with very welcoming faces each describing a wonderful experience. We had to social distance. We had to abide to government rules and we had to sanitise upon enter, however these rules were since forgotten once we had the pleasure of experiencing the great service given from the hardworking staff at O’Neill’s Watford. There is nothing at all we can fault them for, the pints are exceptionally quenching and the food is as fresh as a breeze of air in the highlands. I would recommend this bar to anyone in the London area as it is easy to get to and you can avoid the busy overcrowded bars and go strait into a classy, spontaneous, mellow environment and enjoy and actual beer in an actual bar without the nonsense.
G. H.
Good drinks and great food..
R.
For £5 lunch menu, can't go wrong! Friendly pub, good prices
R. M.
Big busy place place but plenty of tables. Not a bad place to visit.
c. c.
Good for big groups, decent staff and cheap drinks considering how much most of the bars are around town and being next to watford junction
V. K.
Super Duper 🎯.. Lively place..best food❤️
E. T.
Nice pub where you can order everything with an app on your phone! Respect the technology!
m. n.
Nice pub, it was busy when I went. It was a nice crowd loads of fun.
Z. !.
First time visitor and will come back. Saw The Natalies and enjoyed it big time. Nice, friendly and socially customers / guest and very nice, professional bar stuff. Look forward to seeing you again.
K. U.
Went to meet a friend for an hour to catch up late evening and parked in car park . Received a letter saying I owe £85 for parking there! No real sign when it's dark.
All now resolved quickly by O'Neill s. Following a swift reply. Just be careful you don't do the same as me.
Other than the above, a great place for food and drink and friendly atmosphere
P. M.
Outside Watford Junction Station busy and raw wooden tables . Busy as it was matchday
R. H.
Came here to watch my boyfriend perform in his band Stone Heart, great venue, well priced and great music!!
K. A.
Always friendly service & very welcoming
d. s.
Big old pub with loads of drinks right next to the station. Possibly makes for quite a transient crowd. Security staff in evidence but certainly not in your face. Lively atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating.
J. S.
Just turn up got a seat very easy.
And they serve food.
The only down side is a 5 Min wait for food.
Tables are cleaned as soon as a customer leaves.
s. w.
Door bloke was polite and friendly despite my initial annoyance at the covid rules and showed me to my table. Quick download of an app to order and my beer was at my table in minutes.
S. P.
I had dinner with my friends this evenig and everything was perfect!! Amazing food and very nice atmosphere! Thank you guys !
D. W.
Good pub Good food and beers
c.
Food was great, pizzas massive so could halve for lunchtime snack, Service quick and friendly, but it took way too long for tables to be cleared. It was a Monday, they were not rushed off their feet.Music not overbearing, at good level for conversations. Quite annoyed that I got an email asking me if I would like to complete a questionnaire the following day about my visit. They can only know I visitied if they tracked my device through their wi-fi. That is far too intrusive for my liking.
L.
The pub was amazing, a bit off a long wait for the food but it was worth it. Staff was very helpful and the atmosphere was just spot on.
C. L.
I still call it the pennant. Or the flag. Great to see the old place still going. Punk ipa very decent, beats the benskins of yesteryear.
L. B.
Went for pre hen do drinks before catching train. Very large pub, excellent priced drinks and spacious area to sit in
S. G.
Fantastic boozer next to Watford Junction station. Plenty of seats and is very busy on any sports night! The staff do very well to serve drinks to all waiting. Have plenty of screens and has a small gig hall at the back with TVs there too. Recommend the Peroni on draught. Seating outside too but only for Summer.
M. A.
Lovely pub! Thanks Kasper.
S. K.
Very nice and tasty food,. Good service
M. G.
Called here on a sunny Thursday afternoon. Wasnt very busy. Good outside seating area, although it is close to the road. Good range of products available.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
F. I.
Had an amazing meat feast pizza and a great afternoon out with my mates the staff are really friendly and the pub is great
d. c.
Good refurb but if the suns out on a Friday you can be at the bar for what seems to be an eternity. Only one decent pool table as the others are not level. For me it's just ok, hence 3 star rating.
s. m. a.
Great food and beer fantastic atmosphere
N.
Good one
L. P.
Friday night buzzing with old school disco tunes, great atmosphere for a celebration with friends.
S. C.
Must be good as I don't remember being bin there.
A. S.
Good drinks, good food and not too many people. Easy location and close to train station
D. B.
Really great pub and would recommend for one whilst you wait for the train! Great vegan food
Edit: would be 5 stars if it was my local, yes, I'm that petty.
S. B.
Great for a pint and live music
P. B.
Great place. Awesome staff. Highly recommended. I will defenatley visit again
F. C.
Watched the 6 nations and the food was excellent, service was courteous and prompt. Reserved table online, all completely hassle free. Well done O'Neills Watford
C. C.
Good venue, amazing live music close to station which is huge bonus. Very good.
l. d.
Great visit, bar staff and waiting staff were excellent. Had a great chat about basketball with a member of staff. They even apologised about the rain lol.
S. H.
Buy more Guinness glasses or get your staff to collect and wash quicker 😉
E. M.
Service was wonderful, food was just as great. Loved the calm ambiance and appreciate the hard work of the staff. Will definitely go back 😍
G.
Lovely friendly staff, had a party in their music room, very accommodating. Couldn't fault it
V.
A wide selection of beers and loud music.
Not a lot of places to sit. A good place to stop for a quick half pint before getting a train from Watford junction
J. M.
Fabulous food..a little lacking in drinks availability
W. L.
Good small breakfast included a small piece of white pudding, great sausage.,egg, bacon, mushroom, half a tomato, beans & toast and latte £7 not bad
G. M.
Great, quiet on a Thursday night during Covid. All guests and staff following social distancing. App to order food and drinks. A very safe night out.
S. S.
Brilliant place for live music. They have a big music room, seperate from the main pub for watching bands, but has pool tables and big screen for sport when there's no live music.
G. S.
Just had wonderful steak & guiness pie with colcanon. Though wife, from Ireland, wanted scallions with the colcanon, the food was brilliantly cooked and the whole place was amazingly done out inside. Well done everybody.
P. H.
Very close to the train station. Very good selection of real ales and craft beers. Ideal stop off for a cheeky beer if you're commuting in and out of Euston.
T. C.
Brilliant management team. Great pool tables.
M. M.
Ordered a beer on the app, it arrived, I drank it, got drunk 👍
M. N.
Glad to have been served by Kasper
s. k.
Lovely place to have a drink and pub food, and even better if you get served by Tina.
L. R.
Great music venue but drinks prices are high! I paid £9.30 for a pint of London pride, a half of Peroni and a half of diet coke.
M. C.
Can't beat having a good pint of Guinness away from Ireland. Lovely staff and lovely clean bar.
D. K.
Smarter than I remember it. Lively pub! Plenty of security wandering around keeping an eye on the riff raff, which is reassuring. Only problem was long queues at the bar, apparently due to a staff shortage on the night.
M. R.
The biggest problem was there was a lack of food & drinks in stock when I went. For a football game, they should've had both food & drink in stock. Disappointing.
M. C.
Nice pub staff friendly
J. S.
The staff are amazing and friendly the food is delicious great pub
J. G.
Good helpful staff. Clean pub on a Saturday night and live music after 9:30pm. Good pint of Guinness as well. Thanks.
A. J.

J. K.
Very nice bar/food visited here yesterday before i flew home to dublin. The food was excellent wings were so good plus great deals aswell next time im over will certainly go back 👌🏻
G. J.
This recently opened / refurbed O'Neill's has a great purpose-built facility for hosting live music performances, including an in-house sound engineer and PA, overseen by the enthusiastic and very welcoming Pete. This is a fantastic addition to the Watford live music scene, especially given the recent demise of bands at Molloy's, so I can't praise this new venue highly enough and encourage people to support them whenever possible.
R. G.
I go there to see bands in the evenings sometimes, place is nice and the staff seem very friendly. The area where the bands play can get a little cold is the only issue.
P. S.
Had a fantastic night for our work Christmas party highly recommend
C.
Convenient by the station, spacious beer garden and service was quick! Though the app failed a few times.
A.

K. F.
Bar staff are not very attentive, other than that it's a cheap place for a drink
J. G.
