We had a brilliant Sunday Roast here today for my birthday. The reservation was easy to make on the website. The staff were fantastic from start to end, really attentive and there was a lovely relaxed vibe. I enjoyed the Roast Chicken and the others in my party demolished the beef and lamb. The nutmeg and thyme in the yorkshire puddings was amazing! Thank you especially for the little extra with my birthday dessert! We'll be back 😁

What a lovely experience my family and I had there, we had some of the best service you could ask for from the whole staff. The starters we each had was excellent with the main course being amazing definitely a place to sit down with your family in the restaurant or a casual pint in the bar.

We had an amazing lunch, delicious food and exemplary service. Starters lovely, especially the shared Camembert. Roasts were perfect, along with cod, liver and burger. We had desserts too, with cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back!

Ate at the pub today - first time. The staff were incredibly friendly, the garden area was lovely, the food was delicious (chorizo wrap, patatas bravas & a side salad) and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely return when in the area. A very worthy 5 stars!

Mediocre pub desperate to display a higher image....so why can't the staff dress in black with black aprons...? Pleasant lunch, pleasant staff.... peculiar interpretation of a traditional meal. Certainly wouldn't arrange to celebrate a family event here......Its a lunch stop... nothing wrong with that, probably a good place for a pint in the evening.

Went there this evening for my son's 32nd Birthday. We was greated by friendly staff. They asked if it was a special occasion, then we ordered our drinks which arrived very promptly. Then in good timing we ordered our meals and they also arrived in very good time. The food was excellent very high quality ingredients. For dessert they had spelt out happy birthday on my son's plate which was a lovely thought. Staff are very friendly and fantastic service, highly recommend. We will be returning very soon.

Lovely pub just outside Woking's city centre. Very nice atmosphere, both inside and in the garden. We didn't make a reservation, but we've been given a table in a second (I would suggests to do it, though). The food is great, tasty and fresh. Had a ribeye, super well cooked. Well done to the staff! I'll definitely come back!

£52 for two starters which were huge and tasty, followed by two beautiful mains. Steak was cooked to perfection and was so easy to cut whilst the duck leg was amazing. Drinks on the side as well made this a surprisingly inexpensive meal for two. My only issue was the relentless fruit flies that hovered around our table! Note: We were sitting in the bar area

Amazing pub food...came here for ex colleague leaving do, over 30 of us and all food came out at the same time and hot. Lovely presentation, taste was spot on and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Ample parking, clean facilities, great food and service. Menu has a good choice and the portions are generous. Prices were commensurate with quality and quantity. Waitress was efficient and attentive without being overzealous and we were happy to leave a full tip. Ambience was the only (slight) negative, being what used to be a local pub, and having to squeeze through a crowd of youngsters in the bar to get to the dining area when we arrived but they had already gone by the time we left. Dropped in for a pint or two. Only one real ale on but it was a good one. We sat in a corner and watched life pass by. Altogether it's a good looking pub that seems to serve quality food. The beer is well presented and the staff are very agreeable. Visit and enjoy.

We stumbled across this beautiful place by accident. Having been let down by two other pubs and not knowing the area it was such a delight to have a meal here. We had a fantastic time at our staff xmas dinner which here on Saturday night. The service was excellent from start to finish. Simply amazing. A beautiful pub with good beers and wonderful staff. The food....wow! I had Terry's award winning sausage, and it was the best sausage I've ever had! This is a pleasant enough pub. It has half a dozen draft & guest beers. It was full on the even we went & had a jolly atmosphere. There's a dining space of about a dozen tables - not sure exactly. This last time we visited, my burger patty did have the texture of old shoe but my wife's salmon put a smile on her face, so I won't judge them against the burger yet. Burgers are a easy win, so please guys make the patty fresh and don't use frozen meat and then overcook..

We had a great lunch here. The guys behind the bar were friendly and helpful especially with respect to making sure that the children’s roast chicken meal was gluten free. They replaced the Yorkshire pudding with extra roast potatoes and the gravy is gluten free too. One happy coeliac daughter!

Under new management, this pub has been transformed and offers a delightful eating out experience. Although the menu is not the cheapest around, the choices available are interesting and delicious. Service was attentive and efficient, without being pushy, and the ambiance was relaxed but refined. We will definitely be back, bringing family and friends with us too. Highly recommend!

My wife & I popped in on the way back from visiting my sister on the off chance of getting a table. The restaurant & pub looked very busy but the friendly lady at the front desk, very kindly, found us a table for 2. The service was amazing, food superb & (being a Real Ale/Craft Beer fan) they have a great variety of drink & well kept cellar. My wife even joined with me in having a dessert(she doesn’t often). I can highly recommend it & will definitely go there again!

Dropped in on the off chance for lunch. Service was a little slow but food was excellent. I would have like to have seen more uncomplicated dishes on the menu eg steak pie or pasta. We used the bar tables to eat but there is also a dedicated restaurant area. Plenty of parking at the rear too.

In viewing a few pubs and restaurants after lockdown, it is apparent that they are suffering from the new rules about social spacing. I feel waiting staff should wear face coverings, even if it is not mandatory at the moment. I think this restaurant should initiate that. We had not booked a table but the place was empty. I think most customers were sitting in the garden area. The service was strange no sooner had you sat down, you are given a menu to order from. From taking a drinks order and then the main course this was served to table quite swiftly. But wanting a dessert becomes problematic we waited quite a long time and in the end, I had to ask for service, after ordering, again a long wait, we were just on the point of leaving when it arrived . I had hake and chips and Eton mess. I think the best I can say about the food is that is sufficient.

Hadn't been in it since it's been re furnished. Very nice. Cool ornaments. The bar staff are really friendly which is something I prioritise. Good parking - don't park down by the houses looking over the green, that's residential. Go to the garden centre up the road and look at the fish before or after.

Consistently good food at a decent price for Surrey pub food and always an excellent selection of beers in a good pub atmosphere. I've had their burgers in the past and found them to be above average as burgers go. Today it was hake in a light batter with minted peas with rosemary chips. Not usually my kind of thing but I decided to be more adventurous and was pleasantly suprised. Whilst I still fail to understand the need to flavour chips with rosemary these were very good indeed and the fish was excellent. It was good fish properly cooked, as good as anything I've had anywhere. Totally brilliant service, the barmaid even brought the dog a bonio so everyone was happy. Best pub for food and drink for miles, highly recommended.

Went for a sunday roast here and it was incredible! Amazing quality beef, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. My partner, who is ceoliac, had the risotto which was the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant and had eton mess for pudding! It was so nice to eat out somewhere that served fantastic food, cooked from scratch, that also had a great gluten free selection for mains and puddings! Will definitely eat here again :)
