The internal decor has improved a lot since I last came here a few years ago and looks great, decent variety of food options on the menu, we had a buffalo chicken burger which was excellent value for money, and a good portion of fries on the side. They had Beavertown on tap too when we visited. Friendly and attentive staff who are still operating table service for the foreseeable future.

Great little pub hidden away just off the high st. Great selection of drinks, staff nice and pleasant , food is nice. Great big portions went for a double burger with fries and proper onion rings and couldn't finish the meal. Burgers are thick, juicy and taste lovely. Would definitely go back when shopping in Worcester ..

Excellent service for a group of us watching sport in the back room. Very well looked after by a young man (originally from Leicester if my memory serves me correctly!) Great menu selection of both drinks and food. Food is fabulous and lovely atmosphere to complete a great day.

This place is a real good spot! Current restrictions mean you can’t go inside, however they have a lovely beer garden/terrace! Umbrellas to stop you from getting wet in the rain... when the suns out it’s a sun trap for when you want a little warmth! Food is epic! Tacos and nachos are my favourite and the staff their are super friendly and welcoming. Go to this place! You won’t regret it... and when the footballs on and we’re allowed back inside... great atmosphere to watch sport!

Really Friendly staff, ordered some Deliveroo not realising that we had to heat it in the microwave! These excellent staff happily chucked the foot in the microwave and Happy days. We could actually eat our takeaway. Also great atmosphere and excellent service.

I would HIGHLY recommend the gyros! You could easily have that on its own and it would fill you up. The atmosphere was great in there, and it was just a Wednesday night, so I can imagine it’s great on a weekend. The selection is more than just your average pub grub, it was great to see some variety. Staff were all very helpful and attentive, the only thing I would say is that the food took a while to come, but sitting with the sports screens on the time flew by (and we did order a lot). The precautions and measures they’ve put in place to keep everyone safe were great and seemed to do the job 👍🏼

Bar23 has a great atmosphere for sports! The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of food deals throughout the week and I will definitely be visiting again to try more! Would definitely recommend a visit 👌🏻🍻

Lovely old Tudor pub, inside has wood panels and beams, the staff were attentive and ensured an empty glass was filled if required well worth a visit especially to see the other Tudor building on New and Friar streets.

Retaining an oasis of normality in the current mad climate. Good range of drinks and a solid atmosphere. Booking is easy and communication is quick if you have a query. Once there, check in was prompt and table service was attentive without being intrusive.

We went to the Pheasant for pre meal drinks. The young lady behind the bar greater us in a very welcoming manner. She served us our drinks and we sat outside. We weren't there for too long but I was truly impressed by the efficiency and attentiveness of the young lady behind the bar. She was very good with the customers.

Our last night on a canal boat walked up from the Lowesmoor marina. 3 kids 8, 9 and 10 found this pub with gluten free options. We are Aussie retirees with 3 grand kids in tow, loved this place the cook came to make sure our gluten free order was cooked exactly, our burgers were hand made by the cook and you could taste real mince meat they were terrific drinks served at the bar great service would love to revisit on our next UK trip.

Last meal before lockdown, first at bar Twenty Three (eagerly anticipated) Cheeky wing Wednesday for the boys and a chicken burger, gyros and nachos for the girls. All the food was amazing. Like... Amazing. Meaty big saucy wings. The best nachos I've ever tried. Dreams were had that night by all 4 of us of when we can eat it next. If we can't arrange a collection dinner for Nov you can be sure we'll be back post lockdown and dying to try the new menu. Oh... And beer selection top notch. Corona on draft, Camden hells, beavertown as well as ales. The dream. See you guys soon!

Hadn't been in here for years until recently, it used to be my regular haunt until I departed Worcester for university. Have to say I was very pleasantly surprised, gone are the days of offering the cheapest pint of Strongbow in town, replaced by a very nice cider and ale selection. There's also a great beer garden for during the summer months

One of my favourite buildings in Worcester, and the first pub I went to when I moved to the city just a few months ago. The welcome is warm and the food is fantastic (best burgers in town) and they regularly have live music featuring local artists - there's some serious talent in Worcester. The pub itself is like a maze of rooms and every time I go there I discover something new! Upstairs there are pool tables and a great roof terrace with a view - perfect for the summer months. To the rear of the pub is a beer garden, with plenty of seating. There's an excellent selection of craft beers, IPA, and mainstream beverages on offer, so it's suitable for all tastes. Inside is dark and cosy, as you'd expect from a Georgian building, with original featured and heavy beams across the ceilings, making it a fantastic place to hole up with friends in the winter.
