Glad there were non gluten options other than jacket potato. Had the halloumi fries which was a good portion and tasty. Main downside is that the pub had poor heating inside... also would be nice if the chips were gluten free! Thoroughly enjoyed the mango, passionfruit and elderflower gin 😋... It's a Gin Ting

Maybe because its Worcester but as a JD Wetherspoons city centre location goes. The place provides the best value drinks, good quality food and even better service. My wife and I can take our pick where we choose to dine but the relaxed, comfortable and quiet atmosphere here is credit to it's clientele, community and in particular, it's staff... well done everyone and thank you.

At the end of the day this is a Wetherspoons so let’s evaluate it on that basis. Cheap drink check, good meal options sturdy not refined check, no nonsense bar staff check, grimy carpet check, packed with people you bet. Bit for any time of day this is good.

A lovely looking place. With some amazing staff. But they so need to learn there drinking laws ! I have all my licenses to run a bar and they tried telling me different and then asked me and my family to leave. Which we do and 1 pint refunded. Duty manager was a bit of a wideboy but all good in the end. I would recommend the place though.

Been a few times. At the moment it's hard to get what you want at Witherspoons with all the delivery problems. My visit here proved just the case. Not able to get my first choice meal or beer choice. This Wetherspoons is in a convenient location close the railway station and centre of the City. Seating is available inside and outside. The extensive menu is available with carefully prepared and presented food. There is a wide selection of beer, lager and cider on offer. Both draught and bottled drinks are available. There is an extensive range of wines, spirits and soft drinks. The toilets are well maintained. Another Wetherspoons that is worth a visit.

Setting The atmosphere is always pleasant in the postal order and there is never any troublesome rowdy customers. The pub creates a better family feel than nightclub than the crown without the need for doormen. Employer The kitchen staff are worked very hard with long hours but appear to do an amazing job. My only criticism with Wetherspoons as a workplace is the salary for the quality of work performed and the recruitment process could be made slicker with delays between interview, trial shift and outcome. Unsuccessful staff should also be compensated for their trial shift . Experience The casual atmosphere enables good conversation over drinks. The ordering area of the bar like so many others seems too large to gauge order of service effectively and it's length means drinks and cash have to be carried a significant distance by the bar staff before service. Positives are that the drink selection is diverse with sufficient cider variety which can be highly limited in some local pubs with a good, broad price bracket. Bar staff- Friendly but need to increase efficiency. Staff seem friendly yet hesitant on the bar to provide a quick service. I waited one minute after having my age guessed to be asked for ID and then had to wait a further minute for my date to come up and show hers which seemed slightly inefficient and awkward. On a previous occasion I asked for a deal on offer when ordering 2 drinks and my order was carried out incorrectly. In response to this I was offered the drink anyway to avoid business waste but this was after I had stated the drink they had provided me with was not one I liked anyway. This again caused a considerable delay of service through not being listened to as a customer. Except for a replacement with the correct offer ,nothing additional was provided for my long wait and effort. Food Previously I have eaten quite firm chicken which was fairly dry, although the food is very competitive in price. I like the variety and calorie listings on the menu which improves the dining experience for the budget health conscious. Overall A pleasant, varied and relaxing experience provided by kind bar staff and overworked, yet dedicated kitchen chefs. Higher staff wages and training investments, in my opinion, would make the service and product better for all. The drinks (cider and purple rain cocktails ) were great tasting and quality. The food is diverse yet basic but filling for the price.

Really good British food and beer for an amazing price. The staff is kind and quick. Cloud WiFi is available too and it is really fast. The pub is large but friendly. The only one disturbing thing is a couple of fruit machines in there. Despite this fact I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This place was pretty cool but a bit laddish for me. The staff were great but the food was a little underwhelming for the price. You didn't get chips included with an £11 burger when I went in January. They had a good selection of beers and it was a pretty nice place to dine. The service was pretty slow overall though.

Definitely one of the better Spoons out there. We went to the other one in Worcester and they didn't have pizza, we didn't get served quickly and the food wait was an hour. This one was the exact opposite and the staff and locals were very friendly. Food was great as well. i Orders didnt take very long either. As someone who has previously worked for Wetherspoons, everything at this one was excellent.

It's better than the crown on busy days. It's your average spoons, but you get a better connection for ordering via their app. That might be a deal maker for people that dislike waiting at the bar for food or drink, or generally like a good signal while drinking or eating.

The young lady behind the bar clearly didn't want to be there although the chap who brought our meals out to us was very friendly. What can you say about Wetherspoons? Cheap and usually with a good selection of beer. You can copy and paste that comment to most Wetherspoons in the country. You know what you are going to get like a pair of comfy slippers. But there is nothing unique and the food is really basic. I could easily have left this one alone given the quality of choice elsewhere in Worcester.

It's a Wetherspoon's pub so it is a pretty standard experience. First tried out their app here to order because of how busy it was at the bar and to save the table we had. Drink arrived before they had returned and the food arrived slightly after the guys, who'd gone off to the bar, food arrived and I had to find and download the app from the store first.

Love this local Wetherspoons. The staff are always friendly providing excellent service and the menu provides variety for all tastes with prices that won't break the bank. Thumbs up for introducing more Vegetarian and Vegan options recently. 👍 Never had a bad meal but favourites are the Vegetarian breakfast (best Quorn sausages ever!)and Superfood pasta. Their Lattes are amazing too - as good as (and better in some cases) than any of the popular High Street Coffee Houses! Keep up the good work and see you later for my Breakfast Quorn Sausage Roll and Latte!😉
