Reviews of The Toad in the Hole

Friendly greeting, locally brewed beer and a great place to relax with a pint.
The first impression was an incredibly welcoming bloke behind the bar, then you have a wonderful selection of ales brewed just along the road in West Worthing (this makes it eco friendly drinking right?). The 3 main beers on tap start at 3.8% and go up to 4.6% for the strongest. The beers are really about flavour, not knocking your head off with strength, they deliver here and I loved them. There were some other options for the American IPA crowd.
Decor wise, it's simple no frills affair, there's plenty of tables and some outside space.
Didn't see much food offering, but some good pub snacks. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely beer, brilliant friendly and helpful service and it has the best pub game ever. Seriously a great pub all round.

This is how we remember craft beer pubs. Friendly, unpretentious, a very mixed and interesting clientele. Clever staff who clock everybody at the bar and serve in turn, not according to how tall or loud you are. Lively and boozy in a good way, not a sad-alcohol-dependence kind of way. Weirdest pub game ever out the back and friendly folk who don't hog the table and offer to let you learn. Excellent beer. Live music, events, and bits of food.

A nice pub. It has good local ales on tap. Background music that's not chart pop. If you need to get milk or bread then Morrisons is next door.

Lovely selection of pinted beerios. Good prices for a venue close to town. Bar staff were friendly, knowledgeable and had a great taste in piped music. Pork scratchings with a dry stout, right up my strasse.

Nice choice of ales, great hot pretzels and if you're nice will change the music to a good selection of indie!

No frills pub serving beers from Hand Brew Co. Friendly and helpful staff. Toad in the Hole game at the rear of the bar.
