T. S.Absolutely fantastic reasonably priced food, service spot on, friendly bar staff. Only down side is the upstairs toilets.
R. J.Sunday dinner was impressive for the price, desert was delicious also. Can’t have any complaints about the food. Service left a lot to be desired, we weren’t told you had to order at the bar so sat waiting for about 15/20 minutes before ordering. Food also took a long time to come. We were also sat right next to a very busy and loud fruit machine when the place was almost empty which didn’t make any sense.
R. V.Casual accommodating and easy. A lot of “welcome to the Audi family” which was nice. Price of my used car was reasonable. The licensing fee was priced higher than other dealerships by a significant amount. But it was not a deterrent. I would absolutely shop here again. My salesperson was everything he should be, answered all my questions and wasn’t too pushy. From a person who hates buying cars this was a good experience. Update: after spending some time at our mechanic once we were home it is my opinion that the service team should be replaced. The car left with one shock completely broken the other one leaking, brakes that we replaced within a week of getting home, our mechanic said something about the brake fluid. And that he was surprised, this prompted him to look up the dealership we purchased the car from. (Not a good sign) I got a flat a couple weeks in and come to find out there was no donut and or Jack included. No, this dealership is not for us. The inspection could not have been done and if it was then the problems were overlooked. Doesn’t feel right to me.

A. S.Visited with family Monday teatime and we are unimpressed. Firstly dirty glasses all over bar when ordering meals which weren't cleared in the whole time of our visit. We had starters and waited, no one came to take away starter plates, we waited 50 minutes for the main meals to be brought to the table. I think that only happened because I went to the bar to enquire. The food was very well done!! And some had dried out, obviously sat on the hot plate for a while. Hunters chicken had no barbarque sauce, just a peice of bacon with melted cheese. We asked for the BBQ sauce which eventually arrived half way through the meals. I think the chef/ bar staff were having a bad day. We were very disappointed. We were going to order desserts but thought better of it because we didn't have the time to spare. Which is such a shame. I am aware recruitment is different at present but customer care is important too.

M. E.Excellent pub located on one of the main roads into Wrexham with a car park at the rear. Expect a warm welcome with the real fire in the winter and outdoor seating for those warmer summers evenings, They sell a wide range of hot and cold drinks and usually have a good range of real ales which are kept well. There is an app to order food & drinks which also offers rewards if you visit frequently. Good quality food from brunch at weekends to lunch and evening meals throughout the week. The staff are very friendly and efficient, there’s always a smile (Even behind the mask) 👍 This venue is well worth a visit if your in the area.

B. M.Went in for Sunday lunch and a few drinks and I can honestly say I was not disappointed. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a smiling face. Hand sanitizer was available, track and trace was set up on entry which you just scanned the code and filled in at your table, social distancing was fantastic, staff were very pleasant and very busy but still always managed to keep smiling. Then I had the roast beef dinner, that was superb, all the food was hot and plenty of it. Will definitely be going back. Well done to all the staff 😀

S. N.My first visit so not sure what to expect. I went in through the wrong door (too busy chatting to notice the sign) staff were quick to point out the one way system and sanitizing station and were quite rightly firm about the rules. Food was as expected large portions and good value for money.

M. B.Visited after Bangor on dee races, managed to get a table in this very busy and popular pub. Things got even better when we found out that our dog was also welcome.... Brilliant. The food was good and the staff were attentive. This pub had a real mixture of old and young, no yobbish behaviour at all in fact this place had a real buzz about it. Well done.

There is a decent sized car park around the back. Only a five minute drive from Wrexham town centre so very handy for a stress free meal after visiting the town.

And always enjoyed my visit, until now.
The last few years is not as enjoyable, for instance, when having a meal it is not always so good.
The food is not very nice some of the time, especially the chips, mine are always over cooked for me, when I request them too be just cooked i am treated with great disdain.
The Staff on the whole do a good job under the circumstances.

T. M.It's a nice week presented pub. Very much middle of the range (definitely not a gastro pub) but it knows what it is and does it well. It struck me as a good pub for young families and probably had quite a drinking crowd at the weekends

A. G.We go every Wednesday for the quiz nights and it is a very enjoyable experience. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the quiz lasts a good hour and half. Only had food once, and it was brought out quickly and great value for money
D. E.This pub is a two minute drive from the town centre. It is a modern, freindly, warm environment which serves good food with an extensive menu.
There is plenty of on-site parking with disabled access. Toilets are upstairs with disabled toilets downstairs.
The pub can get busy at the weekend so if you are after a table, it is best to book in advance.
The Acton Park is also on the main bus route from Wrexham to Chester.
P. i. W.Bar staff seemed unhelpful and very blunt when asked a question. Very disappointed with the steak and ale pie. It was served in a ceramic dish and had very little steak, flaky pastry top was just placed on top of the dish, and the pastry was cold, mashed potato and vege were nice. Other guests ordered the gammon, egg, and chips, and the hunters chicken, they said it was very nice.
P. L.A bit disappointed with the food if I am honest. The fish my wife had was obviously out of a packet of frozen fish, and was over done. One of our party had ham which appeared to be from a packet. I appreciate that businesses are under pressure, but this is not the way to improve takings.

B. R.Pleasant place to visit and was busy for a Wednesday night. Ordered haddock and chips however when it arrived it appeared that chips had been cooked before the fish and as well as being cold were clearly the end of the frozen chips bag so all little bits. I ate the fish which was fine but left the chips. Although complaining when the chap colectef the plate as well as when back at the bar was not offered anything apart from another plate of chips. A free desert or something of my nexy drink may have made all the diffrrence. Was only visiting the area so not likely to go back so no second chances i am afraid
