1st time , and 1st impressions, a cracking little pub, food was spot on too.

Stopped in for lunch nice menu selection but settled on the chicken & stuffing roast dinner. The food arrived quickly and was stunning all fresh veg and generous portion of meat , even had a jug of extra gravy!. Staff were friendly and the service was great. Our 2nd visit in the last few months which will definitely increase. Lovely surroundings in the historic building!1

One of Wrexham's oldest and quaintest pubs Hidden in the middle of the town center it offers excellent real ales, great home cooked food and a friendly atmosphere provided by the wonderful staff. Its full of character and may it last for many more years

Nice little old cottage type pub, with a thatched roof. Traditional ales as well as the normal beers. Very friendly staff as well.

Always a good time to be had here at the Jockey. run by friends of mine.. good food served here too! It's Wrexham only building left with a thatched roof it dates back to the 15th century

Friday night music was fine but on Saturday night all the loonies in Wrexham turned up to try to sing which spoilt the evening for us.We willl try again SUNDAY
