Reviews of Pitcher & Piano York

We had our wedding evening do in the private room upstairs. The room is unique with stunning views.
We were quite disorganised in the lead up to the wedding but Katie was on it, so helpful and really put our minds at ease. The staff are incredible, we felt so welcome and looked after! It was race day and busy downstairs but the attentiveness of the managers and bar staff was notable.
The night itself was so fun with absolutely no stress. Food was good, drinks were good, atmosphere good, everything good. If we could give 6 stars we would!

A great way to spend an hour or two. It's far from geeky.
Some incredible exhibits and so much information. It's free or you can make a donation on entry or around the museum.

Great location, food was nice if a bit stingy with the chicken in the sandwich. Portion control was off the chart.

I almost don't want to leave a good review for this place because I want a table next time I come.
Lovely view, great drinks. Didn't eat but the menu looks great and they have a children's menu.

Really lovely restaurant/bar. We went for lunch at about 1pm, quiet but soon got busy. Really good deal for lunch, 2 mains for £7.50 each. We both had the fish fingers brioche bun, amazing! So tasty! Staff were lovely, really attentive. Toilets were clean and there was plenty of hand wash available and also hand gel.

Good food, & sat outside so brilliant views..

Great location. The interior is very nicely decorated and there's ample seating outside with a river view. Food here is exactly what pub food should be, simple, quick and delicious. The service is great and the toilets are spotlessly clean. Enjoy.

We booked the table to have a Sunday roast as it was mentioned on the site. I didn’t call and check and just booked the table based on their site. But the restaurant informed that they have discontinued it. We were a bit disappointed with that. Also I ordered chicken strips and chips in main meal, but the quantity was not at all for a main meal as well as the food didn’t taste that good. Drinks and atmosphere was good as well staff service was also good.

Absolutely brilliant staff couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. The views from the terrace are lovely overlooking the river and nice and toasty with the heaters on. It was a great mark of respect that they showed the queens funeral. Could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Chole was an unreal bartender made me all my drinks perfectly! Thank you so much pitcher and piano york.

This is an elegant, vibrant, spectacular environment with excellent drinks and SUPER friendly bar staff especially one young man with curly hair always had a smile on his face! Would highly recommend and will be back in here in no time! Cheers!
Would love to buy that bartender a drink sometime!!
