Lovely pub, very welcoming and dog friendly! The pizzas are to die for and must be tried. We had a lovely afternoon here with a pizza each and a few beers, I would highly recommend you visit this pub :)

Nice traditional pub, with pleasent staff, and a good selection of beers and lagers. We were even offered a hot water bottle to take away the outside chill. Will definitely go back.

This is a nice pub, truthfully it is I have been frequenting this establishment on and off since we moved to the area Mar 2016 and the new ownership is good not bad at all, however the only gripe is my opinion is that individuals working behind the bar should keep their opinion of how great Spain is to themselves as they have to respect the fact the majority of of the north voted Leave!! Not interested in hearing how she loves Benidorm Etc;!

Been recently renovated, making it a much more friendly and relaxing pub. Beer garden is better than most and very comfortable. Pizzas are lovely and everything is well priced. Staff are very friendly.

Great outdoor beer garden ,we went as a coach trip on the way to York races supprised the owner a bit when 50 of us turned up but looked after us we'll have us free pizzas which were spot on

Leute Wer Englisch essen will geht dort hin die Pizza wenn ich nicht wissen würde wie pizza schmekt wurde ich nach dem tag keine Pizza mehr Essen. Der Burger war super. Personal war net. Nur muß man alles erst bezahlen. (Translated) People who want to eat English go there the pizza if I didn't know how pizza tasted I wouldn't eat any more pizza after the day. The burger was great. Staff was nice. You just have to pay for everything first.
