What an amazing old school pub! Kev the landlord was very welcoming and hospitable. If you're ever in the area this is a must visit. We spent Christmas in the village and frequented the establishment and it just kept getting better. Fantastic drinks and reasonably priced!! ☆☆☆☆☆

The best pub around. Cozy fire, low ceilings, small, well kept selection of beers along with the usual lagers etc. Welcoming hosts and a good atmosphere! Proper local boozer

Ace little pub in a gorgeous village! The food was lovely, nice little selection of beers, and not to mention a great selection of different gins and spirits. Kevin and Andrea, the owners, made us feel very welcome, as did the locals. Will definitely be going back soon! Safe to say a sore head followed after a very enjoyable night.

Fabulous atmosphere in this pub. Kev the landlord is part of the fixtures and fittings. I think he was born for the job. Great host. I highly recommend.

Delightful pub, just what you imagine when you think of a true English hostelry. Not a 'touristy' pub, but refreshingly full of locals. Great food, always reliably excellent. I have been going to this pub for 40 years and still look forward to the visit every Friday. It is, without doubt, the jewel in the crown of all the pubs I have been to in the East Riding - and I have been to a LOT!!!

We went to the The Boot & Shoe Inn for Sunday lunch. They gave us a warm welcome. Open fire made it fell warm. Lovely fresh food, plenty on the plate. The cauliflower cheese was great.
Followed by fruit crumble and custard.
The staff were welcoming and very attentive.
They also made our 3 year old welcome.
Thank you.

Hiden away, a little off the beat on track. A jewel of a pub well supported by the locals. Made to feel very welcome and dog friendly. Mind your head on low beams in the bar area. Never eaten here but have heard great things about the food with a recommendation to book if you want to eat. Reals ales on tap a choice of 4 with all the usual largers etc. Go on its worth the ride out give it a try.

Perfectly kept beer in traditional English pub.
What more do you need.
Mind your head on the original ceiling beams if you are over 5 foot 10 inches!

Nice little pub in a lovely village. Not so good if you are tall due to low ceilings and beams!?
