Great little gem of a pub for when you're waiting for a delayed train. Great staff, good selection of beers, spirits, coffees and soft drinks. Very reasonably priced for a station based pub too! Recommended.

Great place to have a sneaky beer after the train journey, me and the lads really enjoyed the place, and on the way home we popped in again. No problem and good time had by all, the staff was very expressed and helpful. 8/10.

A hidden breakfast spot. Having a long wait in the morning and needed more that a coffee and cake were pleased to find full breakfast menu. Google maps not accurate about opening times or food options, so pleasant surprise.

As an update to my previous review. I tried the bar snacks on my visit. Very tasty and I really enjoyed the bbq wings and the customer service was fantastic even though it was extremely busy!

Oh dear it's only good point is it's handy location. I suffered the consequence of a cancelled train on a miserable cold, wet evening. I went in only to prevent having to venture back outside, there was zero atmosphere and the beer was just okay

Was always Cooper's to me, as it was back in the day. Friendly and quick service considering the quantity of clients. Reasonable price for a station at £4.35 for a Guinness. More chairs would help as there are big groups that come for a quick drink and do one so it seemed during the 3 pints I had that 3 groups of ladies came and reorganized the furniture leaving the next group to do the same. Toilets were a big improvement to Coopers tho. Clean and odor free. No needles etc (un like Coopers) Young lad at the bar was awesome and seemed to hold up other staff. Not a regular drinking spot but serves its purpose, to get a skin full before travel. Train times could be better presented. Each page only showed for like 6 seconds and the had to wait for the next cycle.... ugh!

Arrived home in York today and found the pub was closed at 11am, with the cold weather my partner and myself just wanted a hot drink, we don't like starbucks or costa, the manager explained that the pubs opening hours had changed but she was happy to open up early and let us in. Fantastic service and made to feel welcome. My partner enjoyed her cup of tea, after the service we received today we will definitely return when we are in the city centre

Started off for drink on our weekend away for our anniversary trip to London. Our sever was - Leoni. She was very quick and friendly, and took a genuine interest in what our plans were. The bar was very clean, will definitely be visiting again on our future journeys.

I liked this place mostly because the barkeep was fun to interact with, but the food could have been better. My chicken Caesar salad was very decent, but the dressing was not the best. I had it with the house red wine...good stuff. My friend's burger looked a bit cookie cutter, with meh lettuce. Naturally the allure of the place lay in its proximity to the train station. If we didn't have luggage on us, it would have been worth venturing farther to find food.

I enjoyed a nice falafel burger here before taking my train home. The food was good, a bit cold when I got it but nothing too serious. I would have liked to have slightly more chips for this price as it wasn't enough even for a light eater like me. It wasn't the best place, wasn't the worst either.

It's a pub on a train station good result ideal to call for a quick drink or lunch whilst your waiting for your train. Decent selection of drinks slightly expensive but what you expect to pay in a train station. The food menu looks okay didn't eat only time for a pint before my train.
