Bottomless brunch was great, second time I have been and they keep the drinks flowing. Very attentive staff and it was great pub grub! Highly recommend as it's only £20 how can you go wrong. Special shout out to Joe and Megan keeping an eye on your drinks and topping us up and Sandra for making us some great food. 10/10 would recommend

Visited on a Thursday afternoon when there were special offers on cocktails and other drinks. The barman was very friendly and knew how to make an excellent Long Island Iced Tea. Even better it was only £7 which is an absolute bargain. Will definitely return when in York next.

Better than I thought it would be, used to be called 'It's A Scream' so I've avoided it, but this is fine, very decent pint of Doom Bar very well served.

Went to keystones yesterday and had bottomless brunch, it was lovely.
Such a nice relaxed atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble, the drinks kept flowing and the food was also very nice.
Tayla Was very friendly and helpful and also the guy from behind the bar too, sorry didn't get his name.
Great experience all around.

Max and jack was wonderful! The pool table is class😁 Sandra’s food is always spot on. My favourite place to eat in York especially on a budget 💰. Can’t recommend this place enough. The atmosphere is lush ❤️

Love coming here. Was going to a concert that night at 41 Monkgate and had arrived early, meeting friends there later. Enjoyed a refreshing pot of tea in a quiet corner by the window, served by a cheery barman who was so charming bringing it over, making me feel a valued customer. Another time I enjoy having a meal here, either on my own or with friends. A little gem of a place. Tucked away close to Monkbar- magic!

We come to York 3-4 times a year and always use this pub as our go to place. Last night we, and a handful of people moved from 2 large reserved tables. They were booked for 19:30. At 19:40 a member of staff came over and changed the times to 19:45. There were no other tables to sit at, so like a lot of other people we stood in the bar area. Whilst these 2 tables, which sit about 20 people, remained empty. Staff had a complete disregard for the paying customers, who were forced to stand. A point of principal, if someone books tables and they don't show, surely the right thing to do is not let them change thier slot. Especially t short notice and when the pub is full. Disgraceful. Safe to say I won't be going in there again.

Friendly staff, great bar prices. Food is nice and varied, reasonably priced and quiet beer garden perfect in the summer. My go to place when ready for a beer and bite in York.

They offer a free drink to any student who gives them a 5 star review on a Tursday quiz night, so take the reviews witha pinch of salt.
Some of the staff are brilliant, others , especially the girls, are surly and forever disappearing.
Toilets need sorting out out. Whenever I go in, there is usually a leak of some description.
If you like cheap ish beer and can put up with ignorant students, this is the pub for you.

An excellent pub that has a great atmosphere clean, quality good selection of beer and most importantly reasonable prices for York city centre,
It was recommended by the staff in the Raffis spice box also worth a visit if it's only to take in the aroma
