We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to call in here for a couple of drinks. A nice pub with friendly staff and local drinkers who made us feel welcome. Good reasonable drink prices. It's a shame they had to call last orders at 10pm on a Saturday night as no one was coming in, just like all pubs these days. Seems like a dying trade.

Came here while caravaning at camping club site. I have to say I had the chicken and mushroom pie, it was excellent best I have had in years. The price was very good, compared to a venue I went to two weeks before. Definitely going again.

Visited whilst staying on a nearby campsite. Staff friendly and welcoming when we stopped for a drink so we went back today for Sunday lunch. A perfect Sunday roast with very tender beef, crispy roasties, veg and all the trimmings. Scrummy! Highly recommended and at a very good price too!

Had an excellent evening meal here with family. Prices were very good and the portion sizes were ample. We also had a breakfast there which was well priced considering the amount you got. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

After a lovely 4 mile walk around Boroughbridge and Aldborough what could be nicer than having your Sunday lunch cooked for you! Good choice of meat, loads of fresh veggies and great gravy, oh and a Yorkshire pud 😊. No room for a dessert after that lot! Oops, forgot the best bit, very reasonably priced and the staff were great. Thanks.

Moved here March 2016 as the activation party of 6 Regiment from Germany, we were treated quite well. At first people looked at Amy's as if "who are they", but every one has been quite polite and welcoming. Wife ordered a burger couldn't handle it, yet it was good food can't complain and the price was good too.
