Just had tea at the Walnut tree, looks absolutely fantastic now it’s reopened , place was buzzing but service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. Had the lamb shank and the meat fell off the bone ….delicious , only …

I came here recently with some friends after a recommendation and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It has a really good atmosphere, smart decor (I think it has been redone quite recently?) and a particularly friendly team - Gemma and Sam were great and very welcoming. Will definitely be back again soon! 🍻

It is always a pleasure to visit the Walnut Tree, they are always accommodating with lots of outdoor seating, excellent parking facilities and hearty meals. They also host a smashing pub quiz – its ambience attracts more and more customers every week. Above all, the customer service excels expectations, particularly Danny’s professionalism and people-centred approach. I would highly recommend visiting!

Lovely pub with an excellent refurb! Always very friendly staff; we were served by Amy, she was very approachable and knowledgeable on anything we asked her. Years since we were here but heard they'd had improvements! Warm night sat out on patio,fish&chips, hubby had fish pie. Speedy service from friendly staff,generous portions and excellent value, will definitely return ,good location for a pub before we went to cineworld. 😊

This would have been 5 stars, but we were given a table next to the exit into the garden. The door never stopped opening, people leaving it open, people even asking us to open the door so they could get through with their drinks. It was a chilly night , so apart from the inconvenience it was freezing!!. We requested a move, but the pub was full so had to wait until others vacated one. Having said all that, the food was very nice, great value for money, and the staff were lovely. Advice would be, table 16 should not be a table unless it's absolutely needed. We had booked ages ago, so should not have been placed their as first choice. Will go back in the future, table savvy😁
