W. M.From the very first meeting with Alan I felt comfortable and confident that he was the correct choice for us to sell our home with. As we progressed through the setting up of the sale of the house Alan was on the ball, kept us informed of everything we needed to know and also gave us advice where we were unsure of anything. Alan and Cherith carried out most of the house viewings and were very professional in their business and their dealings with the viewers. We received regular feedback on viewers, and updates on offers and the entire process was made so much smoother with Alan in charge.
When we reached a point where the highest offer we received was potentially going to be the final offer, Alan contacted us and we had an excellent conversation discussing our options and when I asked Alan for his opinion he was frank and honest and recommended I sleep on the offer for a day or two.
When my wife and I accepted the final offer Alan again took the lead and gave us the advice and instruction we needed to progress the sale. Alan also helped us greatly with advice in relation to getting a building control certificate for a wood burning stove which we were unaware we needed. Without Alan's help this would have held up the sale considerably..
I would thoroughly and honestly recommend Alan and Cherith to anyone thinking of selling their house and I feel sure that the experience we had with Alan Newell and Co is the norm and not just a one off. Alan is a sincere, honest and very knowledgeable Estate Agent and has a great sense of humour as well. I feel that Alan is a friend as well as someone we did business with and I feel we made a wise choice when we opted for Alan to sell our home for us. Alan and Cherith run a family estate agency and you really feel they appreciate you choosing to have them represent you in what is one of the most important business experiences many of us will ever have.
