3.My husband and I wanted to buy an older house in South Belfast that was listed as newly refurbished - it had a brand new kitted-out kitchen and bathroom and looked immaculate on the surface. However thanks to the survey we found lots of hidden problems (mould and a hole in the roof, poor sealing, asbestos in garage, garage structurally unsound, house in flood prone area, need for new electrical wiring etc). The homebuyer's survey saved us thousands of pounds in further construction and the time/pain of hiring multiple specialist contractors. The survey was super fast and the report was incredibly detailed and helpful, it was well-priced and worth every single penny. We managed to pull out of the sale and saved ourselves a lot of heartache. We will never buy a house without Peter's report! Thank you to Peter, Jean and the team.
