We had a boundary dispute with our neighbours. We employed Mr Lassetter to measure our boundaries and advise us on our boundary issues. Mr Lassetter was very knowledgable and also advised on party wall matter in conjunction with the boundary issues and possibly resolutions. We both would recommend Manor House Surveyors. They were very professional, honest offering good unbiased advise. The cost’s although expensive we felt we’re fair and we both felt we received good value for money. I received a party wall notice from a Surveyor acting on behalf of my neighbour. I was concerned that the notice had been served incorrectly and that my neighbour’s builder had already started building works before I had received any notification. I was very concerned as the builders had caused some damage to my property and were trespassing on my land. I tried to contact a number of surveyors but with little success. I eventually found Mr Lassetter who was recommended by one of the surveyors we contacted who didn’t specialise in party wall matters. Mr Lassetter promptly got back to me to discuss my issues. He clearly explained the Party Wall Act and confirmed that he believed that the notice had been served incorrectly. I appointed Nigel Lassetter as my Party Wall surveyor. My neighbours surveyor attempted to avoid the correct process but thanks to Mr Lassetter he eventually served a new notice after having a discussion with Nigel who pointed out which notices should have been served and what the correct procedures which should have been initially followed by both my neighbours builders and my neighbours. The damage to my property has now been promptly dealt with by Mr Lassetter through an award at no cost to me. Both my wife and I received full compensation for the damage to our property Nigel Lassetter was professional throughout and did not charge for his services. Mrs Joan Simpson We had a lot of help from Mr Lassetter during a difficult time with our neighbours. We started a building project and was promptly stopped by the neighbours who raise the issue of the party wall Act 96 and managed to get an injunction which was very costly. Mr Lasseter sorted out the legal issues and helped us with the party wall dispute. The building works are now back on track however, this has been an extremely costly process. Party Wall Problems I have never heard of the party wall agreements before. I am building an extension and both of my neighbours requested a part wall agreement. Mr lassetter explained everything and help me with the agreements. Mr Lassetter was very helpful and explained everything clearly.
