The house was fabulous and the view from the end of the garden spectacular.The agency was swift to reply to emails and whilst there was an initial miscommunication about the keys, this was swiftly resolved. We also had a fuse blow, and again this was resolved professionally and quickly. We will definitely be returning.
C. H.We booked two weeks at your 4-bedroom house in Sandbourne Road. A perfect home for a holiday, close to the beach with far-reaching views. We all enjoyed ourselves and hardly moved from the immediate area. The house itself was modern and comfortable. We liked it so much we have booked next year. Smart Homes Rental were efficient, friendly and quick to respond and their cleaning service was professional.

There was a regular string of emails following the booking with useful information about key collection and check in procedure etc. Key collection was quick and straight forward with really convenient parking nearby. We picked up the keys at around 2.30pm and were informed that we could go there straight away if we wanted. Someone from the agency called in the afternoon the following day to ask whether everything was ok. The accommodation was exactly as described. The weather was bit poor on the Saturday - I'd like to blame someone for that! All in all a very positive experience and enjoyable 4 days.
D.Fabulous house, well furnished with a well stocked kitchen.
Only a five minute walk, downhill, to the beach and a 15/20 minute walk to Bournemouth pier and the centre of town.

P. G.We had an excellent 5 days at The Coach House (Apartment 1). It had everything we needed for our stay. It is ideal for couples, is centrally located, with good off road parking. Owner Madelaine was there to greet us when we arrived. Customer service was great throughout and a bottle of wine and milk awaited us in the fridge. Brilliant weather too!

L. C.We had a fantastic time at 2 West Bay Apartments. Easy to book which all proved stress free. The staff were more than helpful, when collecting the keys they provided us with a map. It was our first time visiting Bournemouth, so having the map was really useful, especially for my two daughters.
The apartment was very clean, with a lovely bright living room. The only downside was that the main bathroom smelt of drains from time to time, so we decided to stick to the on-suite in the main double bedroom.
Would most definitely recommend West Bay to anyone visiting Bournemouth, so near the beach and short walking distance to the main shops. We truly had a lovely stay, and would love to go again.
M. L.We stayed for a week at 7 Elmhurst and had a wonderful time. The apartment was beautifully clean and was very nicely furnished throughout . The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable as were the chairs and settees. The flat is on the first floor and is one of about ten or eleven apartments in the building:
other residents that we met were polite and considerate and there was very little noise whether in the day or night. There is a lift (which is handy) and the communal areas are neat and very well kept. The flat is perfectly situated between Sandbanks and Bournemouth and it is about a 3 minute walk to the beach. We loved it here and will definitely be staying again very soon. I must add that the booking process and customer service through Bournemouth Beaches was first class and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for your holiday or this company to look after you.

R. W.We are a family from Oslo and we use smart home rentals every year for the last six years. This year we stayed at the Chocolate Box apartment. It was very clean and comfortable however we did not realise that it was over two floors so my elderly father had to sleep on the couch downstairs. Apart from that the location was very good, very comfortable and beautiful apartment. We already booked it for next year as our father will not be coming with us as we liked it so much! Smart Homes always look after us and help us arrange transfers and tours. Our flight was delayed, we arrived half an hour late to collect the keys as the office was closing but Josh from the office waited for us at no cost as there is usually a charge for arrivals outside the office hours. Every time time we speak to someone in the office they are always incredibly helpful even when they can't help, they always find a way. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. J. S.We stayed at West Bay apartments last year and intend to book for the same week this year. The apartment was in a fantastic location near both the beach and the town. It was clean to a good standard. The only downside was having to park quite a way away. We had a fantastic holiday.Hoping this year will be just as good.
We have now returned from our second holiday at West Bay which we booked through Bournemouth Beaches. Just as last year the service throughout was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. (Although I would rather keep quiet to ensure I can get the same place next year!!!!)
This was my third visit to Bournemouth as a customer of Smart Home Rentals. The flat we usually stay in wasn't available so we stayed at 5 The Bolton's for a week. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the standard of the flat compared to the price. I expect the higher price was because of the pool. However when we arrived at the flat one of the beds was broken, the bedroom door broke when I closed it and the bunk beds had a large screw protruding from the top bunk which could be dangerous for little ones. Overall the carpets and soft furnishings were grubby and there were quite a few cobwebs. I reported the broken items to the office and to their credit someone did come and fix them the same day. However they said that they were already aware of the broken bed and I feel that this should have been repaired before we arrived. Another problem was noise from the flat above. You could hear every footstep as if they were actually in the same room. This kept us awake since the people upstairs didn't go to bed until midnight and we're up before seven every day. Not a very relaxing holiday. There needs to be some sort of soundproofing and the squeaky floorboards need sorting out. I am sorry to give a bad review as I have had good experiences previously. On this occasion I felt that the standards didn't reflect in the price and I wouldn't be in a hurry to stay here again.
J. T.We did our homework and chose the flat based on a number of key requirements. When we arrived we happily found that all the photos and descriptions that we hoped were true and accurate, were true and accurate. The flat has an ideal location - far enough away from the hub-bub to offer quietness and relaxation, but close enough to the beach, local amenities and nicely in between Poole and Bournemouth. The flat has been done up to a very nice standard. Beds were comfortable. Children's room has an ideal pull-out lower bed (great for our 2 1/2 year old to sleep on, low enough not for us to lose sleep worrying about him rolling onto the carpet and getting hurt). Both bathrooms were particularly well designed and finished. The en-suite was a very nice place to come back to after a hot day on the beach and have a very powerful shower in plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean. A good size too, as we all like to bee there prepping meals etc together. The lounge is a lovely space. Great to have a dining-table there and a lounge area and TV all together - very social and worked really well throughout our stay. I like being on the 3rd floor, it had a nice breeze coming in through the windows, and with the lift it is was never a problem bringing in suitcases or shopping etc. The whole area felt safe, neighbours were pleasant and there was never an issue with parking or noise. Altogether a very relaxing, very stylish holiday. Will we return? Absolutely! We all felt we had finally found a really good base for us to have our UK holidays in, where we truly feel like we are at home. The flat worked on all levels for us (family of 4). The beach is magic. There's so much to do for all ages in Poole and Bournemouth and surrounding districts. I highly recommend a cold beer or glass of champagne at the local Harbour Heights Hotel, which has a beautiful terrace and gardens with amazing panoramic views of the entire area. A great holiday. R. T.We have now been again twice this year at 29a Sandbourne Road and the property doesn't stop to impress us. Good facilities indoors, short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants & pubs nearby. The Smart Holiday Rental team are easily contactable, always willing to help and respond to requests - which sometimes takes a while though. We intend to visit next year again. The most appealing aspect of the property is that they allow dogs. Well worth a visit.
J. M.Our Sandbourne rental was of a high quality and well furnished. It was clean and well-presented when we arrived. It was very well equipped and the linens and towels were of a lovely quality. The garden, opening off the dining area was a bonus, and being extremely lucky to have glorious weather, were able to lunch outside. In addition, it was a pleasure to deal with Bournemouth Beaches. the staff were always courteous and very helpful. We would return.
A.Flat 3 Seahaven was very nice, bright and spacious and we enjoyed our 5 nights there. Would certainly return to this apartment again in the near future. The only issues we did have was that the pillows on the bed were a little too soft and didn't provide much neck support and it would have been nice to have some curtains in the bedroom just to keep the light out, as the wooden blinds didn't work particularly well.
Smart Home Rentals the agents kept us well informed before our trip and also called us on our second day to make sure everything was ok for us which was a nice touch.

N. R.My daughters and I have just spent a week at a flat in durley gardens. As someone who is very much on a budget and decided to do this spontaneously, I’m really pleased that we were able to find somewhere within budget, super close to the beach and such good service. Smart home rentals were really thorough and every detail was covered. The flat was a great find considering the time of year (middle of August) and made a great base for us to explore Bournemouth for a week.

T. S.A friend and I used Smart Home Rental to rent 27B Durley Chine Road South; a 2 bedroom flat on a 9 month contract.
As students in Bournemouth the length of tenancy was perfect, in addition to the property being exactly what was required in a excellent location.
The use of My Property File (application) allowed us to report issues quickly and get a fast response, however Smart Home Rentals were also extremely efficient and friendly if called directly. The office is also only a short walk away from this property so any further issues could be resolve face to face.
Having been at Bournemouth for 4 years I have used multiple estate agents and can honestly say that this was the most positive experience, with the least stress.

This apartment offers excellent value in an ideal position if you enjoy walking. The beach is just a couple of minutes away - turn to the right you are heading towards Sandbanks and Poole - whilst to the left is Bournemouth and Boscombe piers and beyond.
The apartment is well equipped, extremely comfortable and a veritable home from home.
We have stayed a few times in the past and plan to holiday there many more times in the future.
We have used Bournemouth Beaches for our holiday bookings for a good few years as they offer a wonderful service and we thoroughly recommend them.

Some rare glitches with properties along the way but they always get them resolved straight away. Good communication and very helpful. Sash, who I believe is the owner, is very helpful.

I stayed at Apartment 1 Coachman house, this is in a great location near to Bournemouth town centre. The studio apartment is very spacious with all the facilities that you need and is very well maintained. Off-road parking is available and it is also located in a surprisingly quiet road.
It met all my needs perfectly.

I have to comment on the double bed which was extremely comfortable, unlike many holiday lets. J. H.29A Sandbourne Road is a delightful, spacious property. On arrival the property was very clean and had everything we wanted; even a good selection of games which came in handy when the weather let us down. There is a stunning sea view at the bottom of the garden. I wouldn't recommend this for younger children as there is a cliff top drop with only railings as a barrier.
We did have a problem with the bathroom. Bath leaked water and when the shower was used it flooded the floor. This was reported to Smart Holiday Homes immediately but sadly wasn't rectified during our stay. We therefore couldn't use this bathroom which we didn't find acceptable.
Overall a fabulous family holiday home which we will be booking to stay in again.
N. G.Rented this gorgeous little apartment to celebrate my mum's 80th. We had a fabulous week. The apartment was immaculately clean and fitted with everything we needed; the Co-op on the same property was a godsend of convenience. We were within walking distance of Bournemouth pier and centre (even for a lady of 80!) and perfect transport links to Poole, Christchurch and Boscombe. It was meant to be a one-off special holiday but we're already finalising dates for next year. Huge thanks to all involved.
L. R.The apartment 1 Mansard court was clean and comfortable and near to the beach. My complaint is for Smart Holiday Rentals who took my payment twice, on the day of booking and then a day later. A month later another payment was taken even though I had already paid in full. Nicole was prompt in refunding but had we not been observant of our bank account the agency would have profitted by £639. We were also sent the keys to apartment 2 and the Yale key was bent. The information in the apartment is very out of date.
M. B.We stayed at Allure, Sandbanks for the New Year and found the house perfect for our family of 10. It is well situated, and is only about a five minute walk to the sea. The house is on 3 levels with the main lounge on the first floor. We have stayed in many houses for a short break and this was one of our favourites. Would be nice to visit in the Summer when we could use the garden and balconies.
We did have a few minor issues including an awful smell of the drain from under the sink and a dodgy bed on the 2nd floor and a dodgy lamp, all need to be sorted. But in general everything was fine.

Y. I.We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children, who stayed at the Boltons. This property was perfect for our needs, it was clean and spacious and perfectly suitable for young children. We had use of a heated swimming pool which was great fun. It is located within walking distance of the beach and close to all amenities. The booking process was smooth, the staff always polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a great home from home which we are looking to book again for this summer.
j. r.We stayed in Pippin house, this is the second time we've stayed here as it's perfect for what we need and has parking too. Not many places have 2 doubles and a twin, perfect for a group of friends and the children. The garden is also lovely for the kids to play in. A 5 minute stroll to the beach and 20 minute stroll to town, what more could you want?
We've also stayed in Seaview Victorian Splendour in Boscombe, this was also a perfect location for the beach, ideal for a quieter holiday for a couple during the pandemic this year.

The emails were timely and informative from the company. A neighbour was at hand to meet and greet us and the owner, sent helpful and welcoming texts.
We got round by bus and taxi which worked well in the main. Nearby bus stops where we could pick up buses to Poole or Bournemouth - only problem was that the last bus back to Lilliput was at 7.40 p.m. which we thought was rather early.
No problem bringing a car though as there was a parking space at the property.
Local shops ideal. Fish and chip shop, Tesco open until 11 p.m. and a bakers.
Downstairs is not great to sleep in if there are young kids upstairs that you need to listen out for, but not a problem for us as kids are older. Extra rooms have been added on the top floor so we are hoping that downstairs will be a larger games room next year ; )
Fantastic firework display over Poole harbour enjoyed from the terrace. Plenty to do in Poole and Bournemouth for all ages - we went on two boat trips, visited the Oceanarium, the Theatre, two museums, the Splashdown park and much more. The holiday suited our party of teenagers up to an eighty year old!
Overall one of our best holidays so thank you. The luxurious house definitely added to our enjoyment.

Update: it transpired that we had been using a mobile phone number provided in an outdated property document. The agency did send us a newer version with the correct number, it was bad luck that the original version was highlighted by Gmail on the day of check-in.
The agency staff have very kindly assisted us during our stay and what began as a very unfortunate and stressful start to our holiday has since become really nice. We are happy with the experience.

We had a marvellous time in a very nice flat which had everything we could wish for. The flat is very well equipped, nicely laid out and very convenient for the beach and promenade.
Bournemouth Beaches were very efficient in their handling of the booking and answered the couple of queries that we had professionally.

Best priced apartment i could find. Cheap and cheerful. Bed was really uncomfortable but the rest of the apartment was really nice and modern. It could have been cleaner for our arrival. Brilliant location, within walking distance of town center and the beach.

A well equipped apartment within very easy reach of the beach which is only a 2 minute walk away and once there you can see right across to Studland Bay and Old Harry Rocks. I would also like to say how easy the booking process is with Bournemouth Beaches and they are great people to deal with. Always following up with a telephone call a couple of days into your stay to check everything is OK. I have never experienced this sort of service with any other holiday agent and we have booked holidays with many UK based holiday letting agents. We are very much looking forward to another stay at Seahaven next year

Dealing with Bournemouth Beaches was great and the property we had was brilliant. 6 Ballard's Close was right on the harbour and the 3 storey house had everything we needed beautiful views from the garden and the balcony's. Close to town and so much to do and things happening most nights. Bike show car show firework nights(we took a boat out to watch this, bargain £6).local pubs are great for food also and very friendly. Took the ferry from Sandbanks on a 10 minute trip and went to Corfe Castle and village again Beautiful, We will definitely to Bournemouth again and will use Bournemouth Beaches, brilliant service from booking to ringing in the week to see if everything is ok. We will be telling friends and highly recommend a visit
K. M.Smart home rentals organised me 4 weeks stay at The Coach House, 4 Somerville Road. It was a wonderful place - could not have been better! Unit 1 was lovely - relaxing bath. Unit 2 was easy access on the ground floor and Unit 4 lovely late after noon sun on the veranda. Very efficient service from the booking agency and friendly welcome from the owners of the Coach House. Highly recommended!! 5 *****!!

We thought the property (Allure) was excellent and furnished to a high standard.
It had ample parking and was very close walking distance to the beach.
There were some problems which were pointed out to us on arrival including problems with some of the doors in the upper lounge.
However the doors in the ground floor lounge were open when we arrived, and when we came to close them at night, they would not lock. This was obviously a security problem. We contacted you on Saturday and eventually somebody did come out to fix it, he did not have the appropriate part but he did secure the doors in a locked position. When we left at the end of the holiday this door was still like this.
Another minor irritation, not a complaint but for your information, the outside decking and table had not been swept and cleaned.
We expected furniture on the upstairs decking (see the pictures on the website).
The BBQ was not in keeping with the standard of the rest of the house (it was dirty and had been used as an ashtray and was very small). I know this wasn’t listed as being included on the property but it can be seen in a photograph.
Finally a lot of the plates and dishes were chipped and most of the glasses really need replacing.
So, we had a good time, but did not expect some of the above issues and the other problems, considering the amount we paid. All of these issues could and should be easily resolved so that the overall property/experience could be truly rated as excellent.

a. Y.Stayed with Bournemouth Beaches at the end of 2012 after another holiday company let me down last minute. The staff member (sorry can't remember her name) stayed late to help me find an alternative property for two week stay. The flat was close to their office in the town centre and was very cosy, well presented and cheaper than my original flat. The stay was very good and the staff there deserve congratulations for helping me out. I would recommend people use Bournemouth Beaches as other agent might let you down as happened to me. By the way the flat i stayed in was 82 Westcliff Studios
P. H.We spent a week at the beginning of November at 6 Sandbourne, two adults and four teens. The house suited this mix perfectly. It's a lovely modern house, with sea view from the top bedroom, a lovely lounge that fitted us all comfortably and a smart kitchen.
The house is situated perfectly for both the beach (5 minutes downhill walk). The beach has both toilet and eating facilities. If you walk along the promenade, it only takes 25 minutes to get to Bournemouth and its restaurants (we liked Ojo Rojo and Brewhouse & Kitchen, although you'll also pass a few good ones on the way (such as Vesuvio which is closest to the house). Otherwise there are plenty of lovely eateries just 15 minutes level walk in Westbourne village, including excellent fish and chips at Chez Fred. Camden was fun too. Take-Aways also deliver to this address from Westbourne.
As it was November, we weren't using the house for the beach, but it served as a fine base for us to drive out to see Dorset, although we did pick the week most of the National Trust venues were shutting. As such the house was also a lovely relaxed place to come home to. We had a few teething issues, but these were handled swiftly by Smart Home Rentals. (We do disagree on the amount of towels the house should come with, so if you want a hand towel each, you'll need to pay for the extra as currently it is one per bathroom. Please check the check-in details sent to you.)
The house comes with a dishwasher to take the chores off your holiday, and there's a washer-drier if you want to be spared the washing pile when you get home. We used the DVD player in the evenings as we all cosied up on the enormous sofa with a boxset, which was just what we needed from our holiday.
I would recommend this house to a larger family with older children (there are four floors, so great exercise to be had with the stairs), or multiple couples - although you might fight over who gets to wake up to the view!

We were met by a friendly staff member when we arrived at our apartment - we had told him what time we would arrive and he handed over the keys and gave us a tour/answered questions. The apartment was furnished to a high spec. Will definitely use again.
R. P. d. C. P.The booking was made by Booking and everything went well on booking and on arrival. The flat has a great location with comfortable bed, well-fitted kitchen, good shower and spacious bathroom, good quality linen and bath. The flat was cleaned internally. As a suggestion, to improve comfort, could have bedside lamp.
However, I had two problems. The outside was very dirty with bird droppings and although I complained as soon as I arrived, nothing was done and I could not use it. n. s.We stayed at 10 Elmhurst from 22nd to 30th December. A very cosy and comfortable apartment in which to spend the Christmas period. It is perfectly located a couple of minutes from miles of beautiful beaches and easy walking distance to Westbourne, Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Studland. There is plenty of parking both on and off road, though allocated space a bit tight. Apartment is well cared for and extremely clean. It possesses everything one needs although the shower can be tricky. A bit more crockery might help and the carving set isn't the best. When we stayed a couple of bulbs had blown and these were replaced straight away. However, these are minor quibbles and the overall experience is first rate.

B. B.Had a holiday last week in accomodation 11 Elmhurst Bournemouth (we usually stay at the Boltons accomodation in Bournemouth but were offered 11 Elmhurst by Smart Home Rentals on this occasion).
We found the accomodation to be very nice (well decorated, comfortable and smart much to my wife's delight) with a modern tv offering lots of channels and a dvd player should we wish to use it. There was free Wi-Fi which is great for both my wife and I as we take our tablets and mobile phones with us, so we can surf the Web to keep in touch with current news and for communication.
There was a decent size lounge with a well equipped kitchen.
There was also one large bathroom (with a bath) and an en suite in the master bedroom (with a shower).
The location was excellent as we were 5 minutes from the beach and 12 minutes from a Harvester food restuarant overlooking the beach. It was about a 20 minute walk to town, so no need to rely on using our car. The accommodation was in very quiet surroundings and there was a secure underground car park with a space for people renting number 11.
We have used Smart Home Rentals (formerly Bournemouth Beaches) several times over the past few years and we would recommend their accomodation / services from our experience and we intend to use them again for next year's Bournemouth holiday.

В. Г.My wife and I stayed at Flat 10, Elmhurst Heights 20-27th February 2017 and had a lovely time. The flat was lovely and clean, well equipped and is superbly located only a 2 minute walk from the beach. We booked 'last minute' and the booking process was straightforward and documents were emailed to me very quickly; we also got a courtesy call from the rental company a few days after arrival to check everything was ok. The parking space for the flat is a bit tight if you have a big car, but there is free parking on the street outside if preferred (although I didn't need to). Would we stay again .... absolutely .... the property and booking agents are both superb .... will definitely be back again next year.

P. P.Excellent apartment, situated 5 minutes walk to Alum Chine beach, with good toilet facilities and Vesuvio (a large Italian Restaurant). Pleasant 20 minute stroll along the prom to the pier, gardens and town centre passing a very good Harvester chain pub and several cafes and ice cream kiosks.
The apartment was spotlessly clean like all other Bournemouth Beaches properties. It is on the second floor with a lift down to the basement carpark. The apartment has 2 good bedrooms with an en suite to the main one. There is a large bathroom, lounge with a good tv and a well equipped kitchen. There is free WIFI. There is a balcony with table and chairs.
There is a pleasant 20 walk through the Chine to Westbourne shopping area. There are a number of quality shops including a large M & S Food store and many good restaurants and pubs including Chez Fred an award winning fish and chip restaurant and Baffi Pizza.

K. J. B.We rented 6 SANDBOURNE RD, Bournemouth from this company, also the beach hut for one week. I found the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Any queries I had were dealt with quickly, even the broken bodyboard in the hut was removed by the next morning. It was just a shame that I had to contact them on the 2nd Monday regarding cleaning and clean towels and bed linen and that Hattie had to first check what price I had paid (it was the full price ) before confirming that we were entitled to the above. Something I would have thought would have noted beforehand and the cleaners booked in. Having said that I would use this company again.
A. K.Just spent our 6th stay at 3 Seahaven which sadly is likely be our last due to the very rapid hike in the rental rates. Although the apartment is well located it has not undergone any refurbishment or redecoration in all the time we have stayed there apart from a new carpet (our first stay at 3 Seahaven was November 2012). The kitchen is looking very tired now and also lacks a dishwasher. I suggest that the owners have a fair bit to do to bring the apartment to a such a standard to justify a minimum off peak rate of £465 per week rising to £1186 peak season in 2017. Finally, not a very pleasant welcome on arrival this time as we were greeted with a putrid greasy odour which permeated throughout the flat. I can only assume the previous occupier must have been frying bacon / sausages and the aroma lingered for some days despite me buying a Neutrodol air freshener to place in the kitchen. Rather disappointing that the cleaner didn't take appropriate action prior to our arrival.

The service from Bournemouth Beaches as usual was good. The property was as described, had lovely gardens with a door leading straight out into it with a seating area with three seats. The garden was very well kept and great for the kids. The property suffered slightly from dampness from lack of ventilation but there was a de-humidifier which we used and the property felt dry and comfortable. The property was also only a few mins walk from the beach, which was ideal for us with two kids carrying all of our beach stuff. The location of this property is particularly good as Branksome Chine has a chip, beach accessory and ice cream shop and also a pretty good restaurant right on the beach. After a sunny day on the beach you can walk straight into the restaurant before heading back to the holiday flat.

Very close to the beach and Vesuvio restaurant. 20 mins walk along the prom to the town centre. Bournemouth Beaches couldn't have been more helpful.

Other than those small things, it was a very enjoyable holiday.
