I cannot recommend Maslen enough. They have provided a really fantastic service from start to finish. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and have gone above and beyond the whole way through. They are really respectful and polite. Our valuation was really accurate and the house was put on the market quickly. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, with really clear and timely communication from the beginning (for example following up phonecalls immediately with an email for appointment times). Their fees were really competitive and they gave excellent advice and information throughout. Their photographer did amazing work - really thorough and produced excellent photos. They gave great recommendations for services and got our home on the market super quickly, booking in viewings in a short space of time. The team at Maslen secured us a load of viewings resulting in 6 offers over asking price and us accepting an really good offer above asking price after the first weekend of viewings. They gave great advice and supported us through the following stages of the sale. I never felt like I had to chase them up. Maslen regularly checked in with us by phone and email and were really helpful when we had to move out before we completed, visiting the property weekly to keep an eye on things. They have made the whole process as stress free as possible. We are so grateful for their hard work!

We tried two agents prior to Maslen who couldn't sell our 1 bedroom flat in a year. Once we tried Maslen they had a viewing within a day and a near to asking price offer the next. A very streamline process made easy by Sam and Paul. Completed a couple of months later. They've reinstalled our faith in Estate agents from a few bad experiences prior to instructing Maslen. Would recommend more than any others in Brighton.

We bought our house from Maslen's 6 years ago and were impressed then, so gave them the opportunity to sell our house when we decided to move on. When they came to value the property they gave great advice as to what we should do make it more sellable and stand out from the crowd. Once we came to viewings they were handled very professionally by Paul (Fiveways branch) and were fortunate to get multiple offers in a short period of time. We accepted an offer and since have been very impressed with the service we have received from Donna (Fiveways branch) who kept us informed at all times (very hard when it has been madly busy) and told us what we needed to do when very clearly so we understood the process. They have also been very sympathetic as we have had a rollercoaster ride in finding/buying our next property but wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

We just sold our flat through Maslen Lewes Road branch. We had been looking to sell for a long time, but with council proposed school catchment changes and other issues it took us a long time to put our flat on the market, but right from the start Nick was very personable and patient and gave us good advice. He also knew what we were looking to buy and showed us properties of interest promptly so l imagine they are good from a serious buyer's perspective too. When we did come to market the photograhy was excellent and the flat looked brilliant partly thanks to Nick's advice of not to rush it. The whole sales team were excellent. Their marketing strategy helped create a buzz and lots of early interest with early offers and second viewings on the cards. The feedback was useful. The flat sold within a couple of weeks for a good price and communication was always friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Great service from Maslen from start to finish. Not pushy, very friendly and accommodating, honest and reliable - can't fault them. Best in the area having dealt with 2/3 of the others near Fiveways too. Donna was especially helpful during a difficult time where we had issues with out purchase (through a separate agency). Unfortunately our purchase fell through but that wasn't anything to do with Maslen, and will be using them again when we need to secure new buyers later in the year for sure! First class.

As a general rule I distrust estate agents in general; but my experience with Maslen's has restored my confidence. They sold my somewhat unusual property in less than a week at over my asking price. Estate Agents generally get bad press but not in this case and I cannot praise Maslen's enough - especially Paul. As per the previous 2 reviews I also had a difficult sale which took a year to complete. I honestly believe that without Paul's assistance/encouragement/humour and continuous updates on state of play and legal negotiations on my behalf (with 3 firms of Solicitors), I would never have been able to see it through on my own. On several occasions it seemed that my sale was going to collapse but without making a song & dance, Paul got stuck in on my behalf. Everything he promised - he delivered. Next time I need to buy or sell, I know where I'm going.
