Moving made easy.. how rare is that? Having sold our house, we were looking to rent whilst we decided our next move. Renting as a process feels unnecessarily complex, the competition for properties in Brighton and Hove is vast and the ability to home a four legged friend... nigh on impossible. Sure Solutions Property were absolutely brilliant. I made a late call at almost 6pm thinking they would not answer, BUT the Deputy Branch Manager Tarryn answered my call with warmth and understanding and found us a property which she allowed us to view and turned around the reference checking process in record time. Their name says it all - "Sure". We had previously marketed our property with another agent, who promised a very high rental value..... but 3 months on, had not been able to find a tenant. Rented through Sure for 2 years. Anytime there was a maintenance issue, I'd get a quick answer on when to expect someone for a repair or a replacement. What to say? During a time of Covid-19, a time of shifting priorities and a world turned upside down to make us shift priorities, Zena and Kate were the voices of calm, pragmatism and a ‘we will’ attitude even against legal systems impacted by the pandemic. When scared of lockdowns, they had clear plans and measures in place to sell our Hove property regardless. They were person centred listening from day 1 to our thoughts and adapting as necessary or giving us ideas/solutions to ensure we got all we needed and throughout the process they were approachable, open, transparent and kept us fully informed until the end politely prompting solicitors, collating/gathering info along the way till we sold our flat for the price we hoped. They’ve been so supportive, proactive and communicative it what has been a bumpy process (due to third parties, not Sure). They’ve helped me overcome challenges from numerous paperwork errors on the mortgage company’s part, keeping everyone in the chain reassured despite delays. I’ve used Sure as a landlord for the last two years, and would highly recommend the company. They got me my first tenant literally within a day or two and he stayed for two years and left the property in pretty much as good, if not better state than before, even planting roses in the garden! Sure conducted regular checks and maintenance was really good, pointing out before the tenancy began any things which needed done and doing these at a reasonable rate, and during the tenancy (though these were very few). On looking for new tenants, very professional looking photos were taken, resulting in immediate strong interest from many people. I stayed one day and met many of the potential tenants, who were lovely (the company vets its clients first), and I felt that pretty much all of them would be good and take care of the flat, and some were a delight to meet! My flat definitely has improved since Sure have taken it on, and all the staff are friendly and very nice to deal with – would highly recommend.
