We are currently in the process of purchasing a property with Edison Ford, all we have left is to complete. Throughout the entire process they have been very reputable. Grace, the estate agent dealing with this sale/purchase, has been excellent. Thought the whole process she has kept us informed and been prompt in her response to my many emails. On both occasions that we viewed the property she was there on time and ready before we arrived. She has been honest and informative the whole easy through and has guided us every step through our first home purchase. I worked with the Edison Ford team to sell my first home, and they were awesome! Being a first time home seller, I was unfamilar with the process and they explained everything thoroughly and were always happy to answer any questions. The Edison Ford team arranged the new EPC certificate and all the listing documentation really quickly. I was also really impressed with the photographer who took the brilliant listing pics and prepared a 3D virtual walk through - I'm sure this was a huge reason my house sold so quickly in the current (covid) environment. The sales team pre-qualified the potential purchasers and arranged numerous showings pretty much back to back. My home was under contract inside a week of the first showing, I received in excess of the listing price and the entire closing process was smooth. All of the staff were skilled and friendly - I would not hesitate to recommend Edison Ford.

We started using Edison Ford, then known as the Rented Property Agency, in 1993, when we unexpectedly found we had to rent out a small house, and until next month, when our situation changes, continued to use them. Our son also is both a highly satisfied landlord and a tenant with them. We also use Edison Ford Insurance Brokers. We wanted to employ a small local firm and the decision was a wise one. We have been impressed by their unfailing good advice and their personal touch, professionalism and integrity. They are almost always quick to respond to difficulties. Repairs are carried out at a reasonable price and to a reasonable standard. They are ready to discuss the ins and outs of different approaches to redecoration or the replacement of appliances. What we would like to stress is that they take very seriously their equal duty to landlord and tenant. As landlords we have come to appreciate that. They have been discerning in recommending good tenants to us and, on one occasion, managing the difficulties that one of our tenants found themselves in, to mutual advantage. And in 26 years we have had to leave a property untenanted for a total of less than a month. The usual disclaimer: we offered to recommend Edison Ford; this review is not just written at their suggestion.

My first encounter with eddison fords was when i enquired about a house they were selling, my wife and I popped in, and that was when we met tanya, she obviously asked whether we had a house to sell or if we were first time buyers, we told her that we had a house to sell, we had it on the market for about 9 weeks and had had no one look at it. We had a long chat and decided that if at the end of our contract with our present estate agent, if we had no viewings, then we would sign up with eddison Ford and see what happens. We signed up on the Friday and had a viewing on the Saturday, on the Monday ( and this was a Bank Holiday) we had a email from tanya informing us that an offer had been made, but not just an offer, it was the full asking price for our house. Since then my wife and I have been in regular contact with tanya and her team and have found them to be extremely helpful and willing to help with any problems or concerns we have had. Edison Ford also have their own mortgage consultant, Michelle, who is amazing, Michelle found us a very good mortgage deal and we also forwarded her number to our daughter, who she helped as well. Edison Ford have acted as letting agents for my house for the past five years. Certainly since Kathy Pritchard has joined the company as Lettings Manager, I feel that I have total confidence in the company as she is totally professional and sympathetic to my needs as a landlady. If like me you thought that it really does not matter which agent you trust with your sale ( or purchase for that matter ) my advice is to think again. We have just completed our second property sale with Edison Ford, and the process which is very often extended and time consuming was managed entirely by Edison Ford. We were kept informed of every stage and often when I telephoned to check where we were an email had already entered my inbox. We have dealt in both sales with Tanya Burrows who heads up the sales team and it is a credit to her that the sales have been smooth and effortless on our part. They did what their publicity said they would - even though at one point we did not think it was going to happen for us. We received the full asking price.
