Initially when we first started to look at selling our house we were apprehensive about the process so decided to get a number of estate agents out for a valuation and discussion. Rich came from Evans Estates and was able to address all our concerns. We were concerned we would sell and be under pressure to find somewhere but Rich was able to put our minds at ease setting out conditions of sale for any potential buyers so we did not feel pressured into rushing or making mistakes. Evans valued the house for us at the higher end of what we thought we could get, other estate agents suggested lower which I felt was a ploy to get a quick sale and their commission, Evans however achieved over their original asking price on the first day of listing at the open day. From this point David managed the process and the service he provided was exceptional. Having not been involved in a chain before we were unsure of the process but David guided us through step by step and was always on hand acting on our behalf chasing up the other estate agents and solicitors, this was first class as he took away the burden from ourselves and meant we didn’t have to constantly chase them ourselves. We also had advice from Crystal the mortgage advisor, we didn’t go with her in the end due to our current mortgage offering the same as her but she gave good impartial advice around this which we appreciated. The service provided by Rich and David was first class, I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks

Highly recommended. Dave Hartopp at Evans gave thorough (and free of charge) advice and guidance on how to purchase my first property, the Mortgage process and Surveyor Report - which I really appreciated. I have had the pleasure of knowing Rich for a number of years, both on a professional and personal level. This relationship developed further when I was introduced to David and Krystle - two fantastic, hard working people, who work alongside Rich at Evans Estates. My family have moved twice with Rich and David’s assistance, and both times they have been more than helpful in assisting us with the moves. Their knowledge of the housing market and confidence in their own ability to manage the whole process of moving house is evident from minute one, which reassured us no end. There’s no doubting that if we were to move house again (we’re not! 😂), then there would only be two people I’d trust to sort this - Rich and David. On the back of this, Rich and Dave were keen to support grassroots football as Rich’s son came through playing the game locally at SoccerRockz, before being signed by CCFC Academy. Evans Estates kindly sponsored a new and upcoming football team, SoccerRockz Wrecking Balls, who are part of the newly formed SoccerRockz FC. Their generosity enabled the Wrecking Balls to purchase a new match kit which they wear weekly for their games. Having the support of local businesses like Evans Estates is essential for the continued growth of local grassroots football, and the team is very grateful for their support.
