J. B.Ken has always been a very responsive courteous and kind landlord. I’ve rented 2 separate properties from him both student and private. I would give a 5 stars based on him alone but the student property I’m currently residing has a few issues that could really do with resolution before I could grant the full 5 (Kitchen needs a bit of work doing and the room needs re flooring and work doing to the walls)
But based on Ken he is pleasant.. warm.. contactable and always always listen to reason. I would happily rent a new property from him.

O. O.Great experience with Derby Property 4U. Rent for almost 2 years at DE22. Ken was always very responsive and straightforward with us.
We started the tenancy agreement in the middle of the pandemic, so viewings were done via Video call and all paperwork over the internet.
During the tenancy, a few minor issues happened with the property but where solved in hours or maximum a couple of days.

I will recommend Derbyproperty4u to any student, whether you are just looking to move into a property solo or with friends. I was looking for an affordable room in Derby, that was shared just by students to make acquaintances and friends, especially after lockdown.
Kenneth Sherlock(Agent) was very competent and every question I had before moving in, he was able to explain. I have been in different properties and rooms and the communication with the landlord was always difficult. However, when I moved in, if there was any problem with the property or personal, the response was very quick and helpful from Kenneth Sherlock and the issue was fixed as soon as. You get informed of any changes that are to be made on the house, so thatyou don't get surprises.
The house was exactly as the pictures, there is no deceit. The state is properly kept and every once in a while there were inspections to check if any work had to be done. Honestly, I am very happy that I found my room here for my second year of University. Finding a room or sharing a property is always hectic and especially as a student you don't want to be in a position were you are stressed thinking about moving and the issue that can arise during your rental.
