Really great company to work with, professional and helpful staff. Fast response in reporting any damages or issues as well as an easy process of moving in/out of our flat. My flatmate and I also appreciated how patient and understanding our primary agent Alex was (and the others!) due to us being students. Would recommend.

My husband and I have been struggling to find a property since we are new in the country. We have been to a lot of agency but they will not accommodate us because we don’t have previous let reference, even though we can afford to pay for the rent and can provide a guarantor. It was stressful on our part because we are new and how can we provide them a previous let reference if we just came to the country with no let experience?! Good thing! We came a cross to this beautiful property managed by ELC. Tom who is very kind and extremely helpful and to add he is responsive every step of the way. He is the reason why we are not homeless. Kidding aside. We were thankful to him because he expedited our application and was able to secure the flat in just a week so we could move in immediately because staying in a hotel is so expensive. So from tenant’s perspective, I must say ELC is the best letting agent anyone could have and agent Tom will give you 5* luxury experience and treatment. Any issues was dealt with very promptly. Forever thankful!

The quality of care I have received during my tenancy has bern second to none. At all times I have been dealt with the greatest respect, and any problems have been swiftly resolved. Great experience so far as tenants in a property managed by ELC. Alex in particular is really responsive via email, and has managed to help sort through a sticky situation with our building's factors, as well as sort out a leaky bathroom basin and a broken washing machine a few days out from Christmas. ELC's repair request system is also really well done and works flawlessly. Overall, really impressed so far, especially compared to the last couple agents we've had in the same property. ELC have been so helpful, both with me finding a place as well as once moving in. Finding a place in Edinburgh was not easy at all, especially when you’re a foreigner, however thanks to Claudia I was able to find a place in such a beautiful area. Also once moving, anything that needed to be fixed was approved and managed just within a few days, even for something as big as an oven - Daniel kept me updated throughout the whole process. They are a very professional company who really value their customers’ opinions; I would definitely recommend them!

Although we haven't dealt with this agency for long, the experience so far has been excellent. Myself and my friend needed to move out from our respective homes urgently, and as everyone knows moving out is already stressful enough, and the added stress of dealing with various agencies that are less than friendly doesn't help. Thankfully, ELC has been nothing but kind to us. We were shown our flat by Claudia, who was very professional - turned up on time (very early, in fact!) and explained the application process thoroughly. After sending in our application we dealt with Lynn, who was just great. She emailed us immediately whenever she had an update on our application and answered all of our questions with no hesitation. We heard that our application was successful a little more than a week after the viewing, and we couldn't be more excited to move in to our new home. Here's hoping our experience with ELC continues to be this positive!

An overall good and acceptable experience, they were quick to fix a broken shower and ordering a new fridge, however the flat was not very clean upon moving in (such as pubic hair in the shower, discussed it via email with pictures, etc) and they also charge £30 for a tenant reference that took 1 minute to complete via a link, hence the 3 stars.
