I live in Edinburgh and I love it here it's my happy place so beautiful peaceful and does great for Yr mental health getting out in the hills walking hiking etc.

Slow to act. Then it's pass on to another.. Will keep trying just can't understand councils and party's who deal with councils. The service in the Uk is the worst ever thing department is under maned under funded and more of a nitmare than a expearance. That's why I'm wanting to go private. Like my fathers broken sink. 37 times they have came out. Still never to fix. Repair for another repair like the roads the UK is crumbling falling apart like the USA. What do you expect we have a USA clown in Boris who is USA born. Yip while we have a faild govetmrnt who take hate abuse then all our services will fail...

There is some good information but you can only see the outside of the property knowing that a bathroom would be big enough to get a wet floor shower room put in would be good or how many miles from the city centre or even if the property is in N,E,S,W. When using the site pushing the back button it can sometimes reset and you have to begin all over again and sometimes there isn't any pictures. Overall its a good site.

Been in a hotel for over a year. Since the housing is terrible in Edinburgh, it doesn’t surprise me. More council houses need built, instead of student accommodation. The hotel I’m in is nice, I wouldn’t even class it as a hotel as it’s an apartment. The staff are really nice, I’ve had no problems & while it’s stressful not knowing what’s going on with housing, I’ve enjoyed staying here. I think I’ve been one of the lucky ones if I’m honest. After a year & 2mths of being in a hotel I’ve been offered my own place. I’ve heard of people waiting nearly 2yrs so I’m lucky there also. Being made homeless isn’t the best feeling in the world 🥴 But the council will do what they can to house you. Even if it’s a hotel, it’s still something & better than sofa surfing or on the streets. Only way they won’t house someone is if they’ve been evicted from temporary accommodation, have an ASBO against them from the council or made themselves intentionally homeless.

We went to the Bricks and Bbq EVENING was great apart from the Bbq was was not included. My partner payed £13.90 for 2 hard hot dogs. The price we payed to get in (£21.53 each) it was not worth the money.
