Rettie is a very responsive estate agency. Lovely staff who are all 'on the ball' when you contact them and ask for information about your house sale. When I had to deal with the sale of my mum's flat in unhappy circumstances, the personal and respectful advice I received from Jamie at the Byres Road branch was both reassuring and practical. As a result of this experience, I have recommended Rettie as the 'go to' estate agency to any of my friends who are looking to sell a property. Lisa at their branch in Glasgow city centre has been as responsive and helpful as their West End branch.

We sold our Glasgow flat through Rettie City Centre branch. We had a excellent experience - particularly with Lisa Pitchers. We chose Rettie initially as they had comparable prices to other estate agents and excellent customer service. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, with no hard sell. They gave us a sensible estimate of the value of the flat (we got three in total) which was then reflected in the survey. Once we had decided on Rettie they acted extremely quickly. They generated online and print marketing materials in a matter of days and viewings were booked by the end of the week. Following this they arranged a steady stream of viewings with regular updates and summary feedback from every viewer. Within 2 weeks they had negotiated an offer we were very happy with. Overall smooth process that took about 2 months to complete (going live on market, to final exchange). Highly recommended!

We received valuations from Rettie and two other well known estate agents. Rettie's valuation was the lowest of the three but we were so impressed with Lisa Pitchers' proactive approach and her knowledge of the buying and selling process within Glasgow city centre. She provided us with easy to understand pricing of Rettie's services and talked us through the entire process and what we should expect. It's worth noting that other agents didn't even get back to us after providing an initial valuation, especially when we had asked for written confirmation to help us to secure our offer on our future move when making offers - Lisa on the other hand was thorough and always helpful, providing us with exactly what we required. We needed to move quickly having just made a successful offer on our new home and a baby on the way. Lisa was able to coordinate detailed, floorplans, high quality photography and excellent marketing of our 1 bedroom flat and within a week of first meeting with her, she had our property on the market. After a weekend of viewings we were delighted to accept an offer that far exceeded our asking price, ahead of any closing date. Unfortunately due to the covid lockdown, neither us or our buyer could move as quickly as we would have liked, but Lisa kept in touch with us almost weekly for over two months and ensured great communication between all parties involved. It's rare to see someone who puts so much effort into providing a really great customer experience. If you decide to use Rettie to market your property (and you really should) ask for Lisa and you won't be dissappointed.
