Western Lettings have been the best letting agent I have used. They were helpful in finding a place, getting the details together and then helped with making sure everything was set up for moving in. They were hands off and trusting of me to look after the property without being intrusive or overbearing. At the end of my tenancy they were fantastic in helping me get ready for handing the property back. They gave a handy checklist to ensure I would get my deposit back and I received every penny back, with no issues. Owning a large dog, they helped find a property that would allow me to keep him with me which is incredible since it is so hard to find a property that will allow dogs, let alone a large one! All in all, I would use western lettings again as they were just fantastic. Their staff are lovely and helpful - 10/10 experience!

They have always been very quick at responding to emails and were at end of the phone if we needed anything. The washing machine broke 2 weeks after moving in and they got someone out to look at it, and ultimately replace it quickly. We had Western Lettings as our property managers for 2 and a half years and they were excellent! By far the best letting agents we've ever had. They responded really quickly to our queries and everything was fixed in a timely fashion. At no point were our keys given to anyone without permission (which has happened plenty of times with other letting agents) and we were given proper warning when they needed people to attend the property. At the end of the tenancy check-out went as expected and we were not hit with a million irrational charges for cleaning that was already done or non-existent damage. (This has happened with previous letting agents since they have nothing to lose). I would recommend them to anyone, as they're giving letting agents a good name!

The flat was initially subject to significant plumbing and other problems, mostly the result of poor workmanship by the builder during renovations and had been an absolute nightmare until I assigned the tenancy to Western Lettings. Jack Gallagher has been incredibly helpful in organising competent tradesmen to rectify all the faults and to arrange a succession of excellent tenants. The biggest negative is that they take their cut immediately when the tenants pay but you, the landlord, have to wait. They do all the rents on a Friday but it's not in your account till the Monday! Consequently every month is different when you as the landlord gets paid! They are however earning the interest on the monies.
