Very delayed with my review as for some reason google wouldn't allow me to post. I highly recommend this agency as a letting agency. Liz was so helpful and lovely and answered any questions I had. I rented a new build and a few snags needed sorting (common with new builds), Liz dealt with my request super quick and got them sorted. It is the only agency I felt my rights were equal with the landlords, they have values which I do not regularly see in business, and is what I have not experienced before in my renting time. Getting my deposit back was easy and they were fair with wear and tear, again unlike other agencies in Hull who tried it on with me previously (Riverside Property - avoid). Thanks JKT if I didn't buy a house through family members, I would have come to you :)

Constructive review: Me & my partner saw a property which we immediately fell in love with. We called JKT and they arranged a viewing that same day. It wasnt the most ideal situation as the viewing was with the maintenanc man, this wasn't important to us though, we viewed the property and thats all we needed. The maintenance man gave us application forms to complete as we left which was also great. My partner called JKT promptly and made them aware of our interest. We asked the usual questions and they were answered quickly and fairly. We informed JKT that we would be dropping our application forms off on the friday. (Following day after viewing) which they were impressed with. Come the Friday, i left work and headed straight to JKT with my partner, this is roughly a 7 mile drive but it was fine because we were really trying to get this property. We sat down with an estate agent at the JKT offices, the lovely lady went through our application forms and said they were both absolutely fine. We were informed that someone would be in contact on the Monday. Over the weekend me & my partner were confident we would be approved for the property, we had not flaws at all, we got a little head of ourselves and began looking at furniture, kitchen appliances & decor etc. We were really hoping for good results. The Monday came and it was a nervous wait. We called JKT to chase the outcome as we were been a little impatient. We called several times and they still hadnt heard anything from the Landlord. I called at 3 pm and i was informed that the landlord still hadnt come back to them, but promised i would receive the outcome before close of play. Almost 5 pm came and i had lost hope, until i received a phone call. The lovely lady cut straight to the point and informed me that it was bad news, we were gutted. The lovely lady told me it was because we were not 25, we are both 20. I asked how that is fair, both me and my partner have full time/permanent employment, are doing well for ourselves and are clearly independant. We had good references etc. We dont party like most 20 year olds. After that phone call i began to think, surely it is illegal to turn someone away due to age if they meet all requirements stated etc. After a bit of research i saw that under The federal Fair Housing Act of 1968 discrimination due to age is prohibited. This is like posting a job vacancy and stating that only females who are skinny and have amazing figures can receive the job. It is just not right. We felt we had our time wasted. The agency knew our age but never thought to tell us we wouldnt stand a chance. We wasted our time and got our hopes up just to be discriminated on. JKT are a good agency and im sure it wasnt their doing. They were responsive and helpful, i just feel we should have been made aware of the prior to travelling the distance, gathering references etc. When i queried why we not told this prior to going through the process, i was told, 'Sometimes these things are missed' which i thought was a little unprofessional...
