We recently sold our house using the help of Symonds and Greenham and we cannot praise them enough. From the moment we decided to put our house on the market they were quick and efficient and there to answer any and all of our queries. We were especially impressed with the pictures and brochure and how quickly they went live, the 'coming soon' video which was published on socials was also a nice touch. We cannot fault the service at all and have already started recommending them to friends and family who are considering moving house in the near future.

Over the last 3 or 4 years I have used Symonds and Greenham several times. They sold my girlfriends house and my flat. Just recently we decided to move and they have sold our house and we achieved asking price which we were delighted with. The Photos were excellent and made all the rooms look very roomy. Every step of the way there customer service has been very helpful. As a land lord they have been renting my house out on Kingswood for 3 years. In that time I’ve had 2 tenants and both were checked and vetted giving me zero problems with the rent paid on time every month. I recommend them to anyone thinking of selling or renting.

I decided to use Symonds due to their proximity to my home. I felt that this would make it easy to communicate. To be fair my home sold very quickly but that was because I presented it well. I did make several changes to the wording of my sales brochures and asked for new photos as the first set were overexposed in my opinion. Everyone was friendly and approachable. I achieved my sales price but I did the viewing and negotiated it. After sale STC this is where I felt the service was lacking. I don’t remember a single phone call from them in the several weeks up to completion. I had to chase my solicitor Rachel Watkinson from Jane Brooks Law, who I might add was excellent. My sale completed yesterday and still no contact from them? Fortunately I arranged transfer of keys with my buyer. So yes they are very competitive but, in reality, all I really got for that money was a set of photos and inclusion in their website and subsequently Rightmove etc. I did find them friendly and trustworthy but their communications were sadly lacking.

I met with Joe initially who was very personable and professional and made me feel at ease. I have given 5 stars as I felt that was fair but I wanted to knock half a star off; this was because at times I was dealing with a few people. So I would speak to someone regarding feedback on my house and then I would be rang by someone else . I was also asked if I wanted to help out doing the viewings on my empty house on one occasion. I think being allocated one person and others checking the file before making a call would be better. That being said 5 stars is for excellent and nobody is perfect, so I would be happy to recommend.
