We chose Savills estate agents in Ipswich to sell our home in Suffolk and were so pleased that we did. We found them to be not only very professional but also knowledgeable and friendly too. They handled everything for us from producing the high quality brochure to the viewings etc... We achieved our asking price on the first day of viewings. I approached Savills in October 2021 to sell my house, which had been rented out. Work commitments meant that I was unable to participate directly in the selling process, so I asked them to run the entire process. The team (Peter Ogilvie, Alex McNabb and Alison Dunn) gave me good professional advice regarding the sales strategy, co-ordinated and carried out viewings, supervised the bidding process and achieved, within a week of my putting the house on the market, an agreed sale price of 20% over my initial asking price. Reaching completion took longer than anticipated but Savills - particularly Alex - kept me in the loop throughout the process and drove matters forward on my behalf. I am very happy with the professional service that they have provided - way better than previous experience with estate agents had lead me to expect - at a commission cost that was competitive with the market as a whole. I would happily recommend them.

After 15 years and a lot of work it was time to move on. We had already found our next home and so we called Savills and another company who both seemed good. There was close agreement on the price the house should be marketed at, and although Savills charged a slightly higher sales fee we went with them as we felt their marketing proposal was just what was needed. I thought that the proposed time schedule for photography, draughting, adjusting, printing and launching was rather ambitious, but from the time we said go it all went like clockwork. There was an immediate considerable response and quite a lot of viewings and then the fun started. Peter and Alex guided and advised us at every step of the way. They kept us informed even when there was nothing to say which we found very reassuring. We would have no hesitation in calling Savills again should we decide to move.
