After living in a flat where the letting agency would be impossible to contact whenever we had a problem (avoid HM Lettings!), we were happy to move and to have found Andersons. We walked in and they found us a place that we immediately loved. We signed the papers and got everything sorted quickly and seamlessly. Andersons told us that it was a semi-furnished flat and that although some of the items are old, everything was in good working conditions. They did point out that the couch was older; however, they reassured us that they would get it professionally cleaned, along with the rest of the flat. Sadly, when we moved in, the flat was not professionally cleaned at all and the furnishings were in horrid state. The dishwasher was moldy and broken (was supported by a coke bottle!), the mattress was absolutely disgusting (so, so, SO many stains), bed frame was broken, the sofa clearly had never been cleaned in probably a decade, there were still party streamers left hanging from a previous party by the former tenants, etc. However, my personal favourite was when I dusted the top of a shelf, a BLANKET of dust came down. I'm talking about half an inch thick - it was so bad I was actually almost impressed. We complained and we had some correspondence with Andersons where they sent over "professional cleaners" who were clearly not professional cleaners. When the lady arrived, with the decorator, she didn't even have the necessary cleaning supplies and she had to go out to the shops to pick up cleaning supplies! This cleaning also consisted of "cleaning" for approximately 20 minutes - I probably could have gotten a 3 year old toddler to do a better job. As well, I had contacted Andersons and asked for an ETA for when the electrician was coming. Andersons assured me that they would let me know before the electrician came. Well sure enough, I heard nothing from them and while I was in the shower, I heard a man raising his voice to let me know he was in the flat (!). Wildly dangerous and unprofessional behaviour from Andersons (luckily the electrician was a decent man who had the decency to alert me). It took several weeks for everything to get sorted, which was stressful as Andersons became snarky with us and it took so much constant badgering. It was a terrible initial experience and I would give Andersons a 1 star; however, Andersons did redeem themselves throughout the course of our tenancy as they would always respond if we contacted them and the moving out process was very easy for us. We also had no problem getting the deposit back (though I imagine it's because we cleaned and re-painted the flat and had it in a condition that was far better than when we first got it). Our standards for letting agencies are pretty low from our previous experience with HM Lettings, so it didn't take much for Andersons to get a few stars but those initial first weeks were just too horrible and stressful. IF you get a flat where the former tenants clean before you move in, then Andersons is probably a fine agency. If not, be prepared to constantly badger Andersons.

I have recently left a rental property managed by Anderson’s, and can honestly say it’s been the smoothest exit of any rental Property I have been in. Throughout my time they have been professional, quick to respond to any queries and courteous should they need access to property for any maintenance. I am especially thankful for the support they have provided with myself wanting to end my tenancy early due to circumstances and where clear, concise and always seemed willing to help. I cannot fault them!

Katie, Rita, Chris and all the team at Anderson’s have been the most helpful, professional, pleasant people to work with. As first time renters fresh from university, the process of private renting seemed daunting to myself and my partner. Thankfully Rita and the team at Anderson’s were more than happy to explain and communicate the whole process with us via regular phone calls and emails. From the property viewing with Chris, to the tenancy signing, Anderson’s provided us with the most comprehensive and professional service. When we visited the Leicester office we were greeted warmly by Katie, who went on to explain the signing and inventory process while maintaining a light but professional atmosphere. A lovely thing about Anderson’s is that as well as their professionalism, they were warm and kind, wishing myself and my partner well in our new home. We would absolutely recommend them to any friends, landlords, buyers and renters. In just over a week we are moved in and couldn’t be happier. Thanks again to all at Anderson’s, you’ve been amazing. I have rented with Anderson's for approximately 3 years. I have found them very easy to deal with,. Any repairs were dealt with promptly and I have just had to let the flat go due to Covid and the end of tenancy process went very smoothly. Would highly recommend them...

Anderson's are extremely efficient, friendly and fair to their rental tennants as you would expect of any estate agent. What seperates my experience with them from other estate agents in their added support throughout the tenancy period, the amazingly quick responses to any issue that arises and the support we received during the end of tenancy which helped us maximise our deposit return. Justin the in-house Maintenance Manager in particular was extremely supportive.
