In June last year my partner and I began looking for our first home together, the house we are now happily living in was up for sale with the North Hykeham Your Move branch. From day one the customer service we received from all staff, over the phone, via email and in person was second to none; the staff made us feel like we really were important to them and our needs were met as best as they could be at all times, from having extra time to view the property to the silly, little questions we asked being first time buyers. We met with Steven Sholl the mortgage broker who was friendly and professional, he broke down everything for us, let us take our time to understand every little detail of buying a house and even put up with my many, sometimes stress filled emails which had nothing to do with this company and everything to do with the solicitors who we had unfortunately chosen to trust with our house purchase. Melanie was an absolute god send to us through the process of buying the house, we met with her at our second house viewings where we were measuring up for furniture, Melanie spoke to us like adults and made us feel at ease with such a huge, life changing process that we were in. Near the end of our sale after several months of ongoing issues with our solicitors, the staff at Your Move (including a lady who worked at the Lincoln branch who I apologise I may have forgotten her name, I think it was Michelle but I may be wrong) we’re always at the end of the phone to listen to my concerns and helped me push our solicitors to do their job and also helped me to get messages across to the seller. I understand that buying a house is no walk in the park and I realised this very quickly when purchasing our house, I must say though that I was incredibly pleased that our house was up for sale with Your Move because all members of staff went above and beyond for us, nothing was too much trouble, I was on the phone to them sometimes more than twice a day and they never got annoyed with me, they always listened and let me rant/cry over my worries and concerns which were all related to the solicitors we had chosen. Your Move stood by my partner and I and supported us with more than they needed to in order for us to get the house that we had our hearts set on. Thank You doesn’t feel like enough to say for how grateful we were and are for the staff at Your Move, but again, Thank You for helping us find and purchase our first home together. Ruth & Nick.

The your move at North Hykeham was first class and made the sale as smooth as I could ever hope. A massive thanks to the team there. However on the second property my partner and I sold using the Your move at kirkby in Ashfield was not such a good experience, as they didn't listen to anything so continually had to explain the same things over and over again. And when confronted they finally admitted they had lied to us.

I would like to submit a review on two members of your staff. I first spoke to Andrea Attwell over a year ago when we put our cottage on the market, with a different estate agent. She established which area and type of property we would eventually like to buy. Approximately every month Andrea would ring us and we would have a friendly conversation on our current position. Eventually, we had an offer on our cottage and viewed one of your bungalows. We wanted to view the property again at short notice, when our family could accompany us on 8th November. Tommy Childs explained the North Hykeham office was fully committed that day. Later in the conversation he offered to meet us at the bungalow at 5 30, which he did. Since then we have had our offer accepted on the bungalow and Andrea has been extremely efficient with the process.
