I can highly recommend Dexters. We first approached George from Dexters Kennington as they were the agents for a property we were interested in. When our offer was not accepted, George stayed in touch and said that he would do whatever he could to find us a place. Dominic, Nathan and George took us through the process and they really went above and beyond in terms of their levels of service. After we accepted an offer on our flat, the team went out flyer-ing on streets around Kennington to try and find us the perfect place to move to - and it came off! After that, it was a bit of rollercoaster ride to exchange (no fault of the agents at all) but we always felt like the Dexters team wanted it to work out as much as we did. They worked really hard to make it happen, liaising with all parties, their solicitors and brokers. They were also all lovely to deal with: a really friendly and polite bunch, with the "sales" chat that some agents give you kept to a minimum. I hope not to move again for a while - but if I had to I would definitely go back to this lot!

AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I wish I could give Dexter’s more than a 5 star rating. We sold our one bed flat in Stockwell through Dexter’s. We had previously been on with another local agent, we had hardly any viewings and the agent continuously blamed the market and brexit for the very slow activity. After our contractual period ended with our previous agent we decided to try Dexter’s. Mark came around to value our property initially. He was professional, provided a lot of examples of similar property sales in our area and gave a very thorough appraisal of our property. Mark provided us with an information pack and the paperwork we needed if we decided to go ahead. We did not feel pressured or obligated to sign anything and we were given plenty of time to have a think about it without being bombarded with calls. We decided to go ahead with Dexter’s. Graham and his sales team came around to meet with us and to learn about the flat so they were well equipped with information on viewings. Within a day we had more viewings booked in with Dexter’s than we had in 12 weeks with the previous agent, furthermore within 1 week, before the property was listed online, we had an offer on the flat which we accepted. After the offer was accepted Graham handed over to Amy in the sales team who was also incredibly professional, informative and without doubt kept us feeling calm during the entire process. I have been searching for a property in SE11 and surrounding areas for just over a year now and during that period have encountered every form of estate agency, ranging from the morally dubious (they are still about), to the totally average (the vast majority) all the way through to the outstanding (only one or two), with Dexters most definitely in the latter category. A more professional business with integrated offices and a well-oiled platform would be harder to find and as a business Dexters are the folks that impress. However, we all know that a traditional estate agency is only as good as the client facing staff it employs. This is where Dexters steps into the upper echelons of the profession as represented by all their staff and one individual who particularly stands out in the form of Graham Walker, a manager at the Kennington office. During my period of searching, I have viewed properties too numerous to mention. Graham has professionally scheduled the necessary appointments with alacrity and ensured that they are arranged to optimise my time. In his own inimitable manner, he has always offered quality input, focusing on both the obvious and unseen strengths of the properties concerned, but also prepared to share a small joke without prejudicing his fiduciary responsibilities to his clients - the vendors. I am far from the easiest potential purchaser that an estate agent could have to deal with. My needs have evolved over time and Graham is a great listener who has absorbed my often-verbose input and applied it in choosing the properties that he has chosen for me to view. It is this seamless combination of professionalism and personality that marks Graham out from the crowd and either gets me on a train or behind the wheel of a car for the 2 ½ hour journey into London, when he says he has something worth me viewing. During the time of my search I have attempted to purchase two very different properties via Dexters, neither of which have made it to completion, for very different reasons. On both these occasions Dexters were a class act in delivering the properties and when things started to unwind never came across as pushy or resentful but quite the contrary, they did everything within their domain to professionally and amicably keep the deals on track and in so doing, earnt the right to put themselves at the front of the queue for future business.
