I've had probably 50 odd enquiries with agents over the past few months, and D&G by far were the most efficient and loveliest people to deal with. The agents, Max in particular, made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much to ask for. He took us round the property on video as we're all out of London at the moment, and showed us every inch of the property, taking the time to make sure we were all happy. He answered every single one of my (very many) calls, and updated me regularly throughout the process, I felt so reassured with the negotiations in his hands. D&G are not on the realm of Estate Agents, they are more property consultants. Emily has either been trained well or she is just naturally gifted. Emily was amazing and helpful throughout. The property we ended up moving into was one that I hadn’t even considered and she took us around to view. I can’t fault her at all. However, I’ve removed one star as D&Gs policies made this an expensive move. They wanted the deposit and first months rent almost 2 months before we were due to move in, even after we’d paid the deposit to the secure the property. This meant that I had to pay my rent in my current property at the same time as the new property, on top of the deposit when my current deposit is still tied up. The only way I could afford to do this was via a short term loan which incurred interest.
