Had a really positive experience with Oaks estate agents on our first house purchase. They were always contactable and were so on it with chasing up our solicitor on behalf of us when we were waiting on reports from them, even Gabriel the MD would regularly get in touch with them to try and ensure we could exchange & complete as quick as possible. This was really appreciated as our solicitor was very slow with most things! Due to them being a smaller estate agent it definitely felt like we had a more personable experience and they helped us through the home buying process. Would definitely recommend using them as a buyer as they were so prompt with replies on the many questions we had!

I originally went to a local independent agent who were a little cheaper but unfortunately I did not get the service and expertise needed for my sale. I ended up going to Oaks and so glad that I did. I found Oaks to be a great estate agents, very professional and they gave me really good advice about my sale. They used their expertise to generate interest and it wasn't long before I got myself a buyer. Throughout the sale process, they kept me informed and were always on hand to help with my queries. I was really impressed by their speed of response, and support, particularly in the slightly stressful last-minute stages of the stamp duty holiday window. After 10 months of trying to sell my house with other agents who all believed they would and could, but both over and undervalued the property and then showed it to people who simply didn't 'get it' (it had a vintage style), Gabriel just understood who would and said if he couldn't secure a sale within 8-10 weeks then it would probably be best to take it off the market and sit tight for 6 months or so.
