Great experience renting through Regent. Any faults with the property are quickly remediated, and the agency is very responsive to queries in general. Renewal of my tenancy was handled quickly and professionally by my agent James. Looking forward to a continued tenancy!

Our experience with Regent has been overall positive but there were some miscommunications amongst the team and misinformation given to us as prospective - likely stemming from agents wanting to get their commission. This was quite stressful prior to move in and the agency weren't very apologetic which was disappointing. However, Amelia in particular has been really helpful overall and gave us quick responses to answers which was much appreciated.

We were renting through Regent last year, and during the 12 months we dealt with lots of people from different teams at Regent. Our property agent Tamara was very nice and professional. She was very responsive and got things progressed promptly. To her I would give 5 out of 5. Two other people at the rental team (Emma & Agnes) were both very helpful too. Unfortunately I cannot give Regent 5 stars as a whole company because there are some staff who are not very professional - when we were about to negotiate the deals whether to renew the tenancy, the guy went away for holiday. He did not set automatic reply and did not read through the emails when he came back from annual leave. This significant delay made us decide to not renew the tenancy. Other than him, I think Regent strikes me as a good estate agent.

I had a pretty good experience with Regent Property. My point of contact was Amelia who was amazing, very responsive and helped me out quite a bit. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that they work with Goodlord for all referencing and documents. Although a centralizad and a safe service, Goodlord is thorough to the point that my guarantor was very angry at me as they got called and emailed multiple times a day and were asked for an infinite amount of documents (as was I). At a point of utmost frustration Amelia came into the rescue finding a solution that simplified things. Summary: Regent + team (Amelia) were fantastic, Goodlord not so much.

Tamara, of Regent Property, has been immensely helpful over the past 4 weeks regarding a leak in bathroom of the property my parents own at Kidbrook, it caused some disruptions for the tenants during the hottest week of the year. Tamara quickly arranged contractors to do inspections and repairs works, as well as an application of reimbursement to the insurer, which was accepted and greatly reduced the cost. Our experience with Regent Property was excellent. We dealt with Sian, Gemma, Ieva and Penelope. They were all very professional and efficient and we can’t thank them enough for their help. They always get back in touch and answered our questions instantly. We dealt with Gemma initially and she managed to let us see the flat on a Sunday! Always replying to our texts quickly. We had to update few things about the Inventory check-in and Sian was great answering promptly and making sure everything was as we wished. I have had quite a long association with Regent Property, as they managed a tenanted apartment for me over a number of years. It was a successful association, and I was always pleased with the professional and courteous dealings I had with the company. After retiring, I decided to sell the apartment, and the logical course of action seemed to be to keep the matter in-house, by asking Regent to conduct the sale. It was at this point I was introduced to Allison Steele, the head of sales at Regent, and it quickly became clear I was in capable hands. Allison's knowledge of the London market was obvious to me immediately, and she soon had the property valued and for sale at a realistic level in a difficult market. After a few encouraging, but ultimately unsuccessful, viewings, she found a buyer and an acceptable price was negotiated. I always feel that most professionals will do a reasonable job when things go smoothly, but the measure of their ability comes when things are more difficult. Such was the case here. During the course of conveyancing, the buyer's solicitor highlighted a problem with the lease, and this had to be resolved with the assistance of other parties. It was a quite lengthy and, at times, worrying, process, which could have derailed the sale, but Allison was firmly on top of matters throughout, keeping the buyer (and me) as relaxed about the whole matter as possible, leading to an eventual resolution and completion of sale. I would point out that, while this review is entirely positive, it is genuine, and written in appreciation of the services of what I can only regard as a professional and capable organisation, as represented in this instance by the capable hands of Allison and her team.

I'm a Landlord owner of a flat in London and Regent has been my only Property Management agent since I first started renting out the property a couple of years ago. First time I've written a review on the service they provide (hence, it's rather lengthy!) and it's also the first time I've read reviews by others who've worked with them. In reading them I spotted comments (both good and bad) that I can empathize with, but I wanted to make some points clear based on my own experience. Firstly, although there are things that I have not been happy about with Regent's service (we'll come to these), I can honestly say that I have never encountered any impoliteness. I live overseas, so due to the time difference with the UK, much of the correspondence I've had with their agents has been via email. None of these have been rude, or offensive in any way. Likewise, on the occasions I've spoken with agents on the phone I've had no issues with their manner. I also haven't experienced any pushiness, or aggressiveness on the part of their sales staff. Ahmed (mentioned in others' posts) was the guy who secured my first tenant at what I believe was a fair level of rent. It's worth adding here that the tenant in question (reliable and having taken good care of the property) has been my only tenant since I first put the flat on the market and has just renewed for a 3rd consecutive year. This means that I've managed to avoid any period of non-occupancy since Regent became my PM. Extremely important with a mortgage to repay! Ahmed deserves credit for securing my tenant in the first place and, thereafter, thanks must go to the good work of James Lamizdin and his colleagues, Monika Glogowska and Sam Mitchell, for carefully and successfully negotiating tenancy extensions. So, if you've made it this far into this review you must be wondering why I haven't given a 5 star rating and what the negatives are. Well, besides securing a good tenant very quickly (which, after all, is the most important role Regent has played) I've had my fair share of ups and downs. A continuing theme (mentioned in other posts) has been failure to respond fully and in good time to email queries. I'm not talking about a day or two here, but sometimes more than a week, which as an overseas Landlord reliant on Regent to be my eyes and ears on the ground, has been disconcerting and unacceptable at times. There have also been a couple of occasions where I've been incorrectly asked to make a payment for an overdue fee, despite having already made the required payment! On one occasion I was even deducted money from the rental collection incorrectly. I did receive apologies in each case, but the fact that some of these events were repeated suggests that the message wasn't getting through and that staff were not properly logging and sharing information. in terms of replying to queries in timely fashion, a simple calendar entry in the agent's work record labelled, 'Get back to James on xxxx query' would seem an obvious solution to this issue as even if the requested information hasn't yet been obtained, it's still important to get back to a customer when you've said you would. One reason I'm glad I waited until now before writing this review (and Regent ought to be especially glad!) is that many of the main issues I had with Regent at the start are no longer issues. Communication and timely, comprehensive responses aside, I am happy to report that my experience with them has most definitely improved as things stand right now. That isn't to say that things might not go a bit pear shaped again (and rest assured I will be back on this site commenting again if they do!), but I can only comment on my experiences up to now. I've witnessed mistakes (some glaring and inexcusable), but I've also experienced good support and assistance from the Regent team. At the end of the day, my priority as a Landlord is to have a happy, reliable, rent paying tenant, for my PM agent to deal with any issues that come up (and to keep me informed of them). Regent is currently ticking these boxes. Thanks!
