B. S.I lived in a Butterworth's rented property for just shy of 2 years - and they were easily the best landlords I've had.
They were responsive about maintenance, flexible with moving in and out, and took ownership of any problems in the flat. They also invest in their flats well, meaning most of their properties are done up on a frequent basis to keep them fresh and in good condition.
I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the South Manchester Area.

P. G.Just finished renting with Butterworth Lettings for over a year. I was living at there Whalley Range, Stanley House apartment and their services were absolutely amazing. We had a few problems with the flat over the year and their responses were always fast, fixing everything we had requested. Most importantly, they were very understanding with our moving out situation and made the whole process very easy and stress-free for us.

Only down sides were that they were more reluctant to do the bigger jobs (IE new windows) and the deposit cheque was slow to be returned upon leaving.

J. G.I've just finished rented with Butterworth's Letting for just over a year. They have been great landlords, the moving-in and moving-out went very smooth.
They are also quick and efficient in dealing with repairs and other queries.
S. M.Lived with a friend using Butterworths and they were very good for the most part. Very good with maintenance repair and any problems we had within the property. They were a bit slow sending information through or would forget we had already paid some fees however we felt mostly let down by the attitude of one of the workers there. She was always rude and uninterested from the point of picking up the phone but didn't react well being spoken back to in the same manner. It's a shame since as with any agency they are dealing with a big part of your life and you shouldn't have to deal with such attitude. This didn't really impact our stay with butterworths however and we would still recommend them to some people. I.e our enemies
