They pitched an ambitious asking price compared to other estate agents, and then acheived offers well above this. We sold our home in Chorlton and bought another one with JP & Brimelow, moving in September. We were really impressed with (and very pleasantly surprised by) the service we received. From Ryan and the valuation team, to Danny helping with our purchase, then Carole's amazing work getting the whole thing over line in the face of a catalog of hiccups and disasters, they made a complex and stressful process (in the midst of the hottest market ever in the summer) move and along calmly. When solicitors and surveyors went to ground and problems with our chain emerged very late in the game, it was Carole who calmly made the whole thing happen and stopped us going bonkers. Eddie and team have a good model where you move from one specialist area of the team to the next as you move through the process. The ubiquitous purple marketing around M21 & M16 may make you feel that JP&B is all slick promotion, expensive surface with no substance but, for us, this was far from the truth. We got proper customer service, felt looked after and received excellent value for money - shocking I know!

J&P Brimlow, very efficient. Good valuation, quick video and description of the property, advised caution over one offer and backed a second offer a week later. It all went very smoothly with them. Definitely recommend. But the star of the show is Jodie, the Chorlton Office Manager. The sale of our flat to a mortgage ready, chain free, vendor took 5 months due to solicitors delays as not considered a priority as beneath the stamp duty holiday value. From day one, Jodie responded immediately to emails, which became more and more tense in May and June as we realised we were about to lose our new purchase (which could take advantage of the stamp duty holiday, but had significantly more consideration than money). The flat we were selling had been empty of furniture from mid-May and the new vendor homeless since around that time. Everyone was frustrated, I was ringing our solicitors almost daily. Jodie was magnificent in liaising between all parties and assisting getting the solicitors moving. We exchanged and completed 2 days before exchanging on our new property which completed 2 days later. Without Jodie's assistance we would undoubtedly have lost this purchase. Minutes after receiving confirming of completion from our solicitors, Jodie rang me to advise and offer congratulations. I was overwhelmed and she was great. We had a chat and she said she "was just doing my job" although counselling and emotional support often came into that role - and she's good at it. So Jodie, full marks to you and a sincere thank you.

I had a great experience of selling my house via JP & Brimelow from start to finish. My house was on the market and sold within two weeks. All of the team were great to deal with throughout. Things got tricky towards the end, as chains do and various lawyers were useless! Then lock down kicked in. I have to say that Carole managing my sale was an absolute star, always available, communicating with all relevant parties, keeping me in the loop, and really helped get the sale over the line. It was pretty stressful and Carole handled everything calmly and effectively. When I first appointed JP, their fee was a tiny bit higher than some competitors, but I had confidence in them from my first meeting with Vicky. In the end, it was well worth it. A less dedicated team would not have got this one past the post, and I could have possibly lost the chain and a lot of cash. I also love the free umbrella by the way - it’s well used! Recently bought a house through JP & Brimelow. They are very clearly a highly professional organisation who know how to get things done. I have been really impressed from start to finish. There are always issues that come up when buying or selling a house and the staff at JP and Brimelow have been really helpful in resolving these. They respond to calls and emails promptly, take appropriate action and find solutions, and are very patient. Clearly they look after their clients (and so I'll going to straight to them if ever I need to sell) but they also look after buyers as well.
