Moving into a new place is generally a tricky thing but it's a lot less so when the manager seems to be on top of it. I'm actually super appreciative of how pro-active Gemma was in making sure everything went smoothly. she showed genuine interest in my well-being as relates to my accommodation; inquiring about the status of repairs, storage etc and making sure I was being attended to in those regards. Overall a great experience so far

I am a student, who recently moved into Piccadilly Village with Manchester Apartments. The studio flat is super modern and it’s handy that there’s a laundry room available on site to use. Our property manager, Chris, has been so lovely and professional, dealing with our requests quickly and we can’t thank him enough for all his help in making the moving process as smooth as possible. The maintenance team are also fantastic and show up within a couple of hours to fix any issues we reported. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I’d definitely recommend!

I recently moved to Salisbury House. I really like this place, my apartment was very clean and in good condition when I arrived. It is also very quiet here, close to the university and city center. I also like that the property manager, Hannah Jones, was always very fast in responding to my emails throughout the entire year. I also like that Hannah Jones paid great attention to tenant's issues and always provided alternative solutions, this makes me feel valuable. In addition, I liked how Mr. James Webster helped me in finding a suitable apartment based on my preferences and was also very fast in responding to my emails. In addition, I like their management/maintenance team: the whole area is always clean, technological tools (such as oven and conditioner) look new, there are no issues with security and it seems that company also pays attention to corporate social responsibility (environmental issues). overall an okay experience, maintenance issues take much longer to fix than hoped. Frequent power outage during first few months and wifi broke down for a month. Communications from the manager Gemma been great and clear also quick through both text and email just the time taken to fix these stuff just seems not to be prioritised by the maintenance team. No drainage in the toilet, floor boards (probably formica but definitely not timber) laid badly, constant checkup from different contractors (shouldn't these be done before occupation?? whoever did the building programme is bad at sticking to it seems) and cost 50 quid just to start using the LAN port, which i assumed to be included but apparently not. 7/10 for the nice big arch window and after the first few months it had been quite good

1. Given the fact that all of the transactions are completed online, including the viewing. Speaking to Gemma Apara made me feel that all of the transactions are valid and legit.
2. She is very easy to talk to and works efficiently.
3. The whole process has been very efficient and I am extremely impressed. Turnaround time after requesting supporting documents was very impressive.
4. She definitely has a clear understanding of her job and is beyond competent. As she asked for all of the relevant supporting documents and performed checks within a reasonable time period.

So far so good with Manchester apartments.
I took a big risk moving in without actually viewing my flat (due to covid), however flat is great and area is amazing.
Property manager Chris is really pleasant and responsive.
Most neighbours are students which I'm surprised considering the rent is quite high, however they're very polite and respectful at night. Little lever street is a chilled vibe so far.
Feedback:
I moved in with a lift that was out of order, so everything I owned had to be carried by myself up 4 flights of stairs, I'm concerned how long it will take inspire properties to communicate with MA that someone is coming to fix the lift and the overall safety/ quality of these facilities as in ALL reviews of Manchester apartments, a broken lift is mentioned. This leaves MA in an awkward place as it isn't really their fault but is still worth mentioning due to how exhausted I was after moving in.
Lastly, I would have liked some idea how to use my appliances before I moved in, I had to resort to youtube to work out my induction oven/combined microwave, aircon/central heating, my security cam and I had to ask random cleaners where the bins and launderette was.
I'm sure I was meant to be shown, however I dislike that I'm meant to be in a proper somewhat premium apartment complex in Manchester and that move in experience just wasn't provided for me.
moving forward:
If you're single & tired of house shares or if you're a student, MA are perfect as long as you can afford the expensive rent that comes with living in northern quarter.

Due to COVID, I took a risk moving without being able to preview my flat beforehand and James Webster at MA has been incredibly helpful with helping me choose my apartment (between Academy Apartments and Westpoint).
My flight to Manchester was scheduled to land at 11pm, which meant I couldn't collect my keys to my apartment from the main office in the city centre. Gemma Apara helped me out in this case and suggested the maintenance change the lock to my apartment and leave the key inside the flat before my arrival, which helped tremendously and made moving in easier. However, when I arrived to my building, I wasn't aware that the lift wasn't working and thankfully I live on the first floor, but carrying 2 suitcases was still a hassle. Later I learned that it wasn't the fault of MA.
Nonetheless, my apartment, at the Academy Apartments building, is incredibly convenient, practical and modern. It is also located next to Tesco extra, Aldi, Iceland, Lidl and Marks&Spencer, which provides for a lot of grocery shopping options. The tram station is also a 2 minute walk from my building, which is very convenient.

Hannah is the property manager for my room at 115 Princess Street. She has been responsive, professional, and helpful during my booking and move-in date. She did a good job of handing down my room keys quickly even though I was getting a bit late for my appointment due to traffic. She happily changed it a couple of times without any problems. I'm looking out for a happy stay in this property and hoping the issue of the lift can be resolved soon, as shared by Hannah.
She is a good professional and I wish her the best.

I love the location too. Very close to uni, supermarkets, shopping malls and china town, everything is in walking distance.The apartment is lovely and I would highly recommend this.

Even though he was out of the office, he made arrangements for me to receive the keys and stayed in touch for any questions. Just moved into a Manchester Apartment property. No complaints about the flat, it was clean when I entered and is designed beautifully. Moreover, Hannah and Neal, my main points of contact, have been really helpful thus far. However, it was a bit frustrating to find that the lift was not working upon my arrival. I was not informed of this beforehand so I had to bring my suitcase up to my floor by myself which was challenging. Went to the Manchester Apartments office and unfortunately the staff couldn't give me much information about when the lift will be fixed as this is handled by another company. I also asked the office and the maintenance team if I could have some help bringing up boxes of my belongings (as I'm just moving in) but was told there wasn't much they could do to help. Hoping this can be resolved soon because the flat is actually very nice and location is great.

March 2022:
While I am still happily staying in Westpoint and the staff are lovelier and more helpful than ever (and that includes our beloved maintenance team of course, who are doing their best every day), I am morally obliged to edit my review, as I have been caught lying. Today, we were all informed that "The facilities mentioned above (i.e. laundry and ...lifts) are a convenience to the development, and like the gym and concierge service provided, are free of charge and not included in your rental payments or covered by your Tenancy Agreement," and that explains how MA allowed the Hunger Games for washing machines that has been going on for the past 3 months at Westpoint. Thankfully, the problem will be solved soon.
Autumn 2020:
I am staying in a compact studio at Westpoint and I am very happy with it so far.
The Westpoint team rocks: Sonia and Carlos are very helpful and friendly and Devon kindly made the whole bureaucratic process of moving in very easy, answering all my questions and making everything clear. Many thanks to Rebecca as well for bearing with all my questions, very kind!
I am very satisfied with the apartment, it feels larger than I thought it would, it is very well lit during the day and there are sufficient hidden storage areas. The appliances are new, the tabletops are durable and the glass shower is amazing! The kitchen is a bit small but with the right accessories you can make it work just fine. There are a few drawbacks: the doors of the apartments could be more robust. Not that I don't feel safe (the building is very safe, password entrances and CCTV everywhere), but they are far from soundproof. Also, the extensive use of silicone around the apartment is not very handy, especially since it tends to shrink and peel paint off the walls in a few places. Other than that, the apartment is in great condition and feels like new.
The rent might seem a bit expensive to some people but I think the price is just right: it includes many services (laundry, gym, concierge desk, lounge with coffee), the building maintenance has been more than satisfactory so far, and the location is great since you can find all the necessary stores near Westpoint. In addition, it is really close to the centre of the city.
In general: very happy to be staying here, there are many great advantages and a few minor drawbacks I can easily learn to live with.

My experience was very smooth thanx to Hannah from the agency, if it wasn’t her I would probably have chosen another agency “despite the fact that I really liked the apartment that I have selected” as she was really helpful, friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. I feel that this should be the way of dealing with customers especially when the relationship with the customers matters! I believe that the agency has to enforce such approach if they don’t want to lose their “expected” customers.
One thing is worth mentioning and I wish this have been communicated better is that on their website it stated that they had 3 apartments available ”Now” and I have specified my move-in date while sending my official documents but I didn’t get a response till I have received my tenant agreement where I got to know that I can only move-in the day after my selected date as the previous tenant will move-out three days prior to my arrival , so I had to book a hotel upon my arrival to Manchester.

I have been emailing James, who has helped me find the perfect apartment! Explaining my situation he helped me the best way he could for me to rent and I could not been happier with choosing Manchester Apartments. Everything was sorted in less then a two days, which is extremely quick, but everything has been explained so well by James so I don't feel like it's been rushed at all and have felt so safe with the whole process! The worst renting experience I’ve ever had. Neal takes days to reply and only goes so far if I send follow up emails, contacting him via Whatsapp has not proved fruitful. Whenever I write to the general e-address I am rerouted back to Neal who responds to the email with questions and fails to go through with my replies and concerns. My reference information takes forever to be checked and I am left anxious and absolutely unaware of the situation. This wait has ruined my plans, I now have to postpone my flight and don’t even know how far to move it. Another week, month?
By the time you replied to my comment my problem had not been resolved. The contract I finally received stated a price higher than what we had agreed on and I am the only one to communicate. Not one of my emails has been replied to and my call with Gemma has not led to anything so far.

So far I'm happy with my apartment. There were some small issues at the beginning of tenancy (the apartment was a little dirty, one light was not functioning properly and the TV was stuck turned towards the window) but were quickly resolved after contacting the management.
The apartment although small, it's efficiently equipped, a large window allows plenty of light in, there is enough storage room for one person and I also enjoy the heated floors!

Hi, I booked my first apartment with Manchester Apartments back in April through James Webster. At the time I was outside of the country and could not physically view the properties, however, James was very helpful and shared with me video tours of each property. He was very fast and professional with his responses and provided me with a variety of options to cater my needs.I ended up booking the new building on princess street, however, due to covid this was delayed. Hannah Jones contacted me about this and she was very professional and helpful in the way that she supported me to find a temporary new accommodation. I ended up loving my temporary accommodation so much that I made it permanent for the year. About the layout and room quality of Salisbury House is good in my opinion. Also, if you need high speed of Internet, they can let you contact the third party to install private Ethernet. My Internet speed is able to reach 500Mbps with a reasonable price. Even now, they offer better deal for higher speed while the Black Friday is coming. I am quite satisfied with the Internet since my work must need it. Hope the info is useful for you.

The location was the top priority and the search time was limited, so I only checked the online layout and moved to Salisbury House recently. This building has been modernly renovated, but it had minor parts that need to be fixed after moving in. Employees, such as the fantastic maintenance team, sweet-tempered Rebecca, and very helpful Hannah, are covering the weaknesses of this property. I hope to have a good time here and renew my contract later.

James Webster was also great in answering questions prior to my moving in, so I really felt like I knew what I was walking into (I had signed the lease from Australia and was not able to see the property).
The staff on site at West Point are incredibly accommodating, and I feel like they have truly gone out of their way to get to know me and help me out when needed - from carrying boxes or making me a brew. Thank you to all of you, maintenance (Jon and Paul) and concierge (Sonia and Carlos) alike!
My only issue with the building is that I was surprised how young University/college students lived here. I am a mature age postgraduate student, so I assumed a property as pricy as this would not attract as many young people. Due to this younger demographic, parties/recklessness with equipment (washing machines)/Immature behaviour is a downside. I do not understand why there are no security cameras in the laundry rooms, but there definitely should be!!
Also, just a point about the gym, the treadmills really should not face the white walls. When running and staring at a blank wall, people can tend to get motion sickness or lose balance. It would also be much more interesting to look at the road and people waking by for 15-20 jogs, then a white wall.

My flat was lovely, but I am not very happy with the way the agency handled the (unfortunately numerous) issues the tenants had in West Point. In February we had no lift (out of 3) working for almost a week, this is unacceptable and should have never happened. I had to climb 15 floors every day during that period.
On a different note, the staff in West Point was great. I am very happy with the maintenance service, every time I had an issue with my flat Jon responded very promptly and solved it as soon as possible. I was enthusiastic about the reception staff, in particular Carlos was exceptional. He is very professional and he is willing to go beyond his duties to make sure the tenant is happy of his staying. Besides that, very pleasant person, always nice to have a chat with him. During my days in West Point, I felt more comfortable and safe knowing he was there to help me out if I had any issue.

In an up and coming area of Manchester within walking distance to everything in Manchester City Centre. I never had any electrical or gas issues and the one time i did need maintenance done; it was done quickly and with concern.
Chris was also wonderfully patient, understanding and helpful when it came to any questions or worries that i had, especially as time got tougher through the pandemic.

West Point (my accommodation) is the best place I could have stayed during my course in Manchester to be honest ( highly recommend) .It is worth the price as I mentioned earlier they have an amazing and friendly staff from the cleaners, concierge and down to everyone on site and also at the office. West Point is safe, great location and wonderful scenery.

I have lived in one of the studio apartments in Little Lever street for nearly 2 months now. This was my first time renting somewhere (moving out of my parents). James Webster and the rest of the team who i communicated with were a great help!
With corona causing delays the original apartment i had gone for was not going to be ready for the date in which i needed to move in by. James was extremely helpful in giving me my options and making what could’ve been a stressful situation stress free. He and Chris especially were always on hand to answer my questions (no matter how random).
The apartment itself is really nice and top quality.
Only issue i can note is the lift has been out of order since i moved in (though not the company’s fault as they have requested it to be sorted).
One thing that could be improved is the directions for appliance use as i found all this very confusing to figure out as the manuals dont quite match my hob.

Ive been speaking mostly with Hannah who manages two properties Ive lived in, basil house and 115 princess street. I can only sing her praises. She understood the difficulties I was having in moving in to my new princess st place and was flexible, giving me one more day to move in which was much appreciated. I know the lift being broken is probably due to things out of her control so I don't blame her for it. She has been available on whatsaap, on her personal number and on email and has always responded very promptly and adressed any concerns as soon as possible. She has been so helpful in giving me my place in basil house as temporary accommodation when 115 wasn't ready and she was ok with me turning in the keys a little late in the day as I took longer cleaning the flat than I thought. She has helped me sort out payment details so quickly and was very understanding when I made a mistake ( placing the wrong reference number). Westpoint is a brilliant place to live if you are a student or any young professional. I previously had issues living student halls, I could never get sleep due to the noise and disrespectful people I was living with, it was always dirty and I didnt feel safe. Westpoint I feel very safe, there never no noise on weekdays, ( I have had the best sleep since living here!) and the people here are very friendly. The buildings is always clean, I see the cleaners here 2 times a week. Carlos is lovely and does an amazing job with our parcels. Due to my friends leaving near Northern Quarter I have been talking to James and he has very nicely helped me move to another location for next year at Little Lever Street.
One little bad thing is when moving into the apartment, I would of liked someone to show me how to work out my combine oven/microwave/grill. I had to ask my neighbours and they were unsure too.

Currently a student at UoM, wanted a private place so I could study in peace and not be in dorms. Living in their newest building Academy Apartments, a bit expensive per week for its size but manageable, really like my view (4th floor facing University of 92) and despite its compact size the storage under the bed and wardrobe are very good bonuses.
Quality of place is good, but when I came there were a few issues like oven, bathroom not fully done, heating etc but most of it got fixed. I really like the maintenance team in particular here, shoutout to Antz and Nathan for helping all the time and being very accommodating!
Only big issue I have is that communication is poor, have to call multiple times to get something answered, emails which are written many times also left unanswered so that could for sure be improved. Oh, and the lift to be fixed especially for the 4th and 5th floor tenants is a big hassle with bags or furniture.

I stayed in Westpoint for 6 months (unfortunately I had to leave due to Covid-19 otherwise I would have stayed more). The apartment was new, modern, with a great view. I consider it value for money, everything was accessible and easy. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty close to the center of Manchester and the University.
Additionally my experience was greatly enhanced by Carlos who works as Head Concierge at Westpoint. He was always very friendly and helpful, and I knew that when I had an issue I could count on him. He also organized weekly football matches for Westpoint residents and friends which was a very fun event which helped us exercise but also socialize and know each other. I made a lot of friends from these games. When I had to empty my apartment while I was in my home country he was of great help, otherwise it would have been an impossible task for me.

Workmen turn up presumably to fix things you’ve reported. But instead, comment on other unrelated things in your room and leave the item reported unfixed.
It feels as though picking up my parcels is a crime. Or they put up the ‘shortly away’ sign up as soon as ....which puts you in a awkward position.
Any reason why fire alarms never go off? For drill purposes? Corridors could be slightly bigger. Could there be cameras in the laundry room?
Could there be ‘key fobs’ instead of keys?
For some reason my room constantly stinks of weed? There should be an “MA” app for users to report others.

The apartments are in great conditions, everything working properly and any problem was fixed fast and efficient. Except for the last months when lifts were out of order, but this is mostly because residents are not quite responsible with the common facilities. Among the staffs, everyone was also willing to help and Carlos Rodríguez Made our stay valuable and unforgettable. He was always willing to solve every problem, so respectfully and welcoming. He managed to keep everything working during COVID-19 and made a good experience overall the circumstances.
More than the apartment itself, people sometimes were a bit rude and disrespectful with the common places, such as selfishly using more than one washing machine at a time when most people need them; or loud music while some people use the entrance lobby to work and study; and people during moving days didn't actually follow social distancing rules which made everything more overwhelming and stressful.
In addition, sometimes we felt that external outsources were not that responsive and efficient as the building would require for that many people, for instance regarding "super fast WiFi", which was not at some point and didn't recover after some point. Similarly, the lifts require maintenance that didn't receive on time, affecting many people during moving days and bike transport from higher to lower floors.
Apart from that, inside the apartment everything is a paradise, the view is amazing, great isolation and heating systems, good air flows, and lot of natural light.

I have stayed at Westpoint for the past year and even though there have been some issues, my overall experience has been positive. The apartment was very nice and the location was convenient, since there are two bus stops right outside the building and a tram stop very close by. The staff of Westpoint however are the ones that made my experience there extremely pleasant. Sonia, Kevin, Jon and Carlos were lovely and extremely polite and helpful to all tenants and made sure that we were confortable and felt welcome. Sonia and Kevin were the ones that I was seeing everyday before going to work, extremely friendly and always smiling, saying good morning to everyone and always ready to help, especially Sonia at the reception. Jon from the maintenance team on site is also a great asset to Westpoint, as he fixes minor problems in the flat that might arise extremely fast, most of the times within the same day of reporting the problem and he is always very kind and ready to help. Last but not least, Carlos the Head Concierge , is always extremely enthusiastic and helpful, especially if you are having an issue and makes sure that he does everything he can to help you resolve it as well as he gives really good recommendations for transport, grocery shops and places to go out in Manchester as he knows the city very well. Moreover the fact that he organised some social events at Westpoint helped the tenants to get to know each other which was great. He is always very kind and gives everyone a warm welcome and my experience would have not been the same without him!

I booked it all online and they contacted me straight away to see what I was looking for. I was a bit nervous about moving in as I hadn't seen the apartment as I'm not from Manchester but it's great! Just what I needed. Checking in was easy enough too. I did have an issue with my fridge for a day or so but the team soon sorted it so no complaints.

Due to complications with noisy neighbors (no fault of the agency), Hannah was extremely helpful and offered a solution to move into the Basil House apartments at no extra cost to us and our deposit.
She was very attentive and helped us move within a week and we are 1000000% happier in the new apt. The workers at Basil House even helped carry our belongings to the sixth floor. We are paying less rent, and in an even better location and apartment then before. Couldn't ask for more.
Were it not for Hannah going out of her way to help us in our situation my review would have been very different(Owe a lot to her)! Other agencies I have used simply do not do anything about any problems with their tenants, whilst MA staff have been constantly helpful, maintenance, domestic or otherwise. Thank you very much. If you make a request for maintenance the response is swift and professional AND there is follow up to ensure that your needs were met. I also have to mention Nathan who also works with John and does a great job as well.
Carlos the Concierge makes you feel welcome and at home and always has a smile on his face. Special mention about Sylvester the night Concierge who has greeted me warmly each time I go to the front desk. The building is well kept clean and smells great. I also love the fact that the building is gated. Any questions that you might have Sonia is also more than willing to help at the front desk. So many perks to living at Westpoint including a 24 hr gym.

On the other hand, I expected the quality of the furniture to be much better considering the price. Few things aren't working but they haven't been fixed.

I stayed at the Westpoint location of Manchester apartments and I really loved it there. The apartment it self is really beautiful and modern (although some attention to detail on the finishings would have been nice and the sofa sucked). I stayed on the 5th floor and had the most amazing view. Also I had the most quiet neighbors (cant speak for other floors). Living there was just extremely comfortable for me. The only thing I didnt like was that the wash room wasnt on my floor and before I signed to rent I was told that it was. The location of the apartment was very convenient as I attend UoM. There are bus stops right in front of the apartment on either side and it takes less than 10 minutes sometimes to get on campus. The best part of staying there though was having Carlos as the receptionist. He is the kindest, most helpful, genuine person you will ever meet. As this was my first time in the UK I ALWAYS had questions on where to go and how to get there and Carlos would never mind helping me. I feel like he is what made my stay at the apartment so nice and what made my getting around easier. Carlos has become a friend and I will miss him the most. Thank you for everything Carlos.

Staff on site in westpoint are amazing, Carlos and the maintenance team, cannot fault. However, as a student paying such expensive rent (£175 a week) the least you’d expect was that you would move into a CLEAN and finished apartment. I was a student at the newly opened UA92 and this was their only student accommodation option. The apartment was unfinished and cheaply done, plumbing under the sink looked like a child’s toy kit and proved to be problematic when I had leaks for 2 weeks because of it. When I moved in there was coffee stains on the table, and what looked like Coca-Cola or coffee down the wall (which I am being charged for with my deposit despite me sending photo evidence of this on arrival). For 6 months of my 9 month stay at Westpoint only 1 of the 3 lifts was working, even a point where none of them were working which is appalling especially as there’s tenants living as many as 15 floors up. The company are typical private landlords who will try to take money off you for anything. When moving out make sure your flat is FLAWLESS as they will take any general wear and tear as damage. Apparently costs £100 to repaint some walls and £100 to remove cleaning product residue. £200 of a £250 deposit. If you do have to move in here ensure you take photos of anything and everything so you have evidence of any damages as they clearly don’t repaint the walls and professionally clean the flats before another tenant moves in. There’s no secure parking so no premium to pay for this and the area it is in is not the safest. If you do move in here look forward to hearing shouting and police sirens regularly.

I've been staying at Manchester Apartments for nearly 2 months, I had a reoccurring issue that was ongoing for a number of weeks and I would like to give a special mention to Jon the Maintenance guy. He has gone above and beyond to deal with every issue I've faced with the apartment very promptly, efficiently and with always an understanding and compassionate approach. He never displayed annoyance and only encouraged me to make contact if the problem had not been resolved, he eventually did find the cause of the problem and it has been taken care of once and for all. The 5 star rating goes to Jon. Also the apartments themselves are well maintained and cleaned daily. The staff on the Concierge; Sonia, Carlos and the cleaner Kevin are always helpful, polite and friendly, when my car broke down Kevin and Sonia did not hesitate to come to my rescue. My assigned agent Devon Barrington has also been easily contactable and has been at hand to answer any queries I may have. All in all I've had a pleasant experience.

The maintenance team is great too, John is always willing to help with any issue you might have in your flat and to make you feel comfortable with it! Although West Point is a nice place to live in, it has one main issue; it seems like there was never a time where all three lifts were up and working. Since Manchester Apartment has numerous employees and properties, I would prefer to specify that my review is for Hannah, Ryan, and Basil House, in which I have been living for nearly eight months.
Hannah is the property manager, and she is doing an outstanding job. She has helped me a lot before, during, and after moving in. She was patient and understanding my situation when I had to delay and re-schedule my moving-in dates several times due to an unexpected issue in receiving my visa. When I finally moved in, she was on her annual holiday, but she contacted me once she returned to ensure that everything was fine. She replies to my e-mails within a few hours, and sometimes minutes, and she regularly sends e-mails as a kind reminder to the tenants about the rules of this building. I recently contacted her in order to extend my tenancy for just an additional month, and I received her response in the following day that she could do it for me for the same amount, no extra fees.
Also, I have worked with Ryan, the lettings negotiator, who was professional and friendly. He contacted me immediately after I had booked the flat to discuss the upcoming procedures. Like Hannah, he has generously assisted me by promptly responding to my e-mails and providing useful details about the flat and rent. When I arrived in Manchester and went to the office, I was surprised that he was able to recognise my face and remember my name, too, from just the ID I submitted on the application. During the viewing, he showed me everything in the flat and answered all my concerns. One time, I have met him coincidentally in the street, and he waved and smiled at me, I still remember and appreciate that.
For Basil House and the apartment itself: Top 10
1. The rent includes utilities and WIFI.
2. The location is central. 7-10 minutes walking to Piccadilly Garden and City Centre, while 20 minutes walking to the University of Manchester.
3. CCTV is operated and the building is secured by card keys. No physical keys at all.
4. The apartment is spacious and cosy, like the photos.
5. Essential furniture and appliances are provided.
6. Each flat has a laundry machine, so I do not need to go to a laundry room and wait.
7. The general cleanness of the building is very good.
8. The elevator works well. Over the past eight months, I think it was out of service only one time, and it was fixed in the following day.
9. There is No a construction, nightclub, or place which causes unpleasant voices or smells.
10. I contacted the maintenance team once about the down-light, and the guy came at 10 am to repair it.
I know my review was lengthy, but I was keen to make it comprehensive and beneficial for the prospective residents. As four months left in my tenancy, I really hope my satisfying experience with MA remains the same.

In praise of Rebecca: My son was starting at Manchester Uni and we stumbled upon Manchester Apartments through online searches. Ryan was extremely helpful and very timely in helping us choose the right apartment for our needs and the reservation process was quick and simple. My son was moving into Westpoint which we did not realise was still being built at the time of booking and his flat was not ready on the stated move in date which was rather stressful initially as we had to find him a hotel for 2 nights. However, he was moved into a much better apartment instead, until his apartment was ready, obviously at no extra cost. Manchester Apartments also did everything they could to make the move in easy, notably by providing a strong team to help move personal belongings into the flats. We did have some rather unpleasant and pushy emails from one member of the team, but somehow we ended up in contact with Rebecca who recognised that we were being patient with the inevitable teething troubles of a new build. She always answered emails promptly and was very proactive in finding solutions to our issues. I feel that she has listened to us and thoughtfully provided us with genuine customer service. I had a truly lovely time while living in Westpoint for a 9-month period, in one of the compact studios. The quality of the furniture and appliances, the wifi etc. was really high. And whenever any problem occurred, it was fixed quickly, without any stress. It is unfortunate that from March onwards, the lounge and gym facilities were not available anymore, however, I enjoyed using them until the pandemic. It was just so simple to live here, everything a young independent individual needs. It is also a good place to live due to the location. Westpoint is close to Chorlton, to Salford, to the Centre. And the bus station is literally in front of the building, while the tram station is ca. 3 minutes away.

My honest review of Manchester Apartments is 90% positive. I am currently in an AMAZING apartment in Basil House, and would be faring a lot worse were it not for Hannah. I had originally moved into Princess Street, and for 5 months had to put up with disrespectful neighbours who lived above, who constantly would scream and shout and play video games at all hours of the day. It was extremely upsetting and I complained many, many times to the agency. Furthermore, construction works were going on. I was never told about this before moving in and was informed they would be gone within a week of moving. Walking along Princess Street now they are still up, 8 months later. I would have workmen come up to my window and drill from 7am until the afternoon, then have the noisy neighbours until 5am in the morning. Living with the blinds down, no natural light (because of the scaffolding) and having no peace during my Master's was a nightmare, especially for the rent price.
It was only Hannah who fixed this for me after getting little to no response from other staff. She organised a transfer to the brand new Basil House apartments, and I am truly over the moon. She is extremely kind, understanding and went out of her way to make my last year in Manchester truly one of the best ones.
The staff are generally pleasant and always offer refreshments, and I moved in no hassle (twice!) regarding paperwork, contracts and timings. Would definitely recommend based on my experience with Hannah and the team, especially for students or young, working professionals.
