I have had an extremely positive experince with Bricks and Mortar, they have been efficinet and their customer support is certainly a plus. I would like to single out one of their employees, a man called James. James has been extremlely helpful with our group in helping us find the right property. He was generous enough to pick us up from our house and drive us around various locations. He has been nothing but lovely, and I cannot commend him high enough!

I put my house on the market with Bricks & Mortar at the height of the pandemic. The service was excellent from start to finish. Even more so because of the trying times. The staff went out of their way to help me and were brilliant the whole time. The photos Claire took were outstanding quality and my house sold within a matter of weeks for higher than the asking price. Overall an excellent service and I highly recommend. Thank you to everyone involved in the whole process especially Claire Scott who was amazing from the very start.

I was introduced to Lauren and Claire who along with their team, have taken care of everything. They have put reactive and proactive measures in place for maintenance, handled all the billing matters for services and most importantly have secured tenancies for all rooms for this academic year. I am delighted so far with the communication and efficiency of the business.

Who was very polite and welcoming, she gave me all of the information I needed about my property and supplied me with the keys correctly!. Out of a number of letting agents I arranged viewings with (or tried to - some were so poor as to not even respond or send properties 4x my budget) , Bricks & Mortar stood out by a mile. Their staff, whoever I spoke to were helpful, friendly and after receiving 5 recommendations I was moving within 3 just days of my initial contact. The member of staff I mostly dealt with was Anna Siddle, who was enthusiastic, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She sent over the properties as per my requirements and had managed to arrange 3 viewings for the following day and 2 the day after. I can certainly recommend Bricks & Mortar. As a former estate agent myself, I'd just say that for potential landlords too - if they take that much effort in finding the right property for potential tenants, as I said 5 suitable property viewings were arranged ASAP upon contacting them, then you can rest assured that they will make every effort to find a suitable tenant for your property as quickly as possible, which as I said, was not the case with other agents I deal with who seemed rather lazy (sending my properties 4x my budget and in the wrong areas etc) or not even bothering to get back in touch.

They kept us up to date at every stage of the sale, even when there was no further updates. I moved out of a B&M property just recently and the whole experience was exactly what you would expect. Staff were friendly, responsive and professional. I did incur some maintenance issues while living there (who doesn't) but the staff and landlord acted in a reasonable timeframe and in the event of my heating went above and beyond. What more can I say? I got my deposit back quickly after move out.

So far as agents go, Bricks & Mortar are the best by far! I've dealt with my fair share of agents and it's usually a painful experience. So often they don't return calls or deal with your issues unless you chase them up. Who has time for that? Bricks & Mortar, on the other hand are great. The staff are helpful and really friendly. When our boiler wasn't working they had someone out to look at in less than 4 hours! I would totally recommend Bricks & Mortar to anyone who is looking to rent.

The amount of work that it takes to be able to get the property keys has been slightly frustrating and you’d hope that this could be refined and improved in the future whilst the need for a guarantor when working full time and not a student is also a bit confusing.
