Fraser Grant are perfect for students or professionals. Being a student and renting with various different agencies over 4 years, Fraser Grant have definitely been the best letting agency so far. Ellen and Andrew were great at communicating throughout our tenancy and always were a big help with any issues we had. Definitely recommend this agency to anyone. 10/10

Couldn’t recommend Fraser Grant more highly. Always quick response, very reasonable and honest and quick to help us with any queries. Ellen and Andrew did a sterling job throughout our tenancy. We recently moved out of the 8 bed property on Osborne Avenue which was such a great house. Huge rooms, large ceilings and very well furnished. Fraser Grant looked after us very well and as I’ve said I cannot recommend them enough, my only regret is I’m not in one of their properties this year!! If you’re ever living in 28 Osborne Avenue then I’m very jealous and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did :)))

Long term tenant on behalf of the owner, The Cottage at the heart of Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. Located in the St George’s parts. I have had a wonderful 2 years and not for the first time. The Cottage is a comfortable 1 bedder with full amenities and utilities, both a joy in the summer and winter alike. Not far from where it all happens yet more than private enough. I would highly recommend and make much gratitude to all involved especially the team at Fraser Grant, that I see. Easy entry and exit conditions. During our time down Osborne road in jesmond the team at Fraser Grant have been amazing with us, fixing any problems we have as quickly as possible, making sure the property is liveable and replacing any broken/damaged furniture etc in the house. They have been very understanding with our very busy/different work schedule due to being student nurses when any jobs or checks were needed and made sure to work around us. Fraser Grant have been excellent throughout this pandemic year. They were always responded within a day and did a great job of managing the property, which was a great help for the final year of university. We had a couple of household appliances (fridge/washing machine) that needed replacing and they managed to find and replace these without any fuss. They made both the moving in and out phase of the property much easier by being available as well as understanding. I would highly recommend them and their great team.

I stayed in a 2 bed apartment, our property managers Ellen and Andrew were professional and certainly helped me feel at ease about moving in and out. Me and my flatmate were able to use Arthur Online to manage our tenancy, report issues, and access relevant documents which was really useful. Any issues that we reported were responded to within 24 hours, with the option to use an emergency line (that we fortunately didn't need to use). 5 star experience the year round

Found Fraser Grant agents online through spare room after they advertised a room within a professional house share. Very swift and accommodating with the viewing and always prompt with my enquires. They knew I was a nurse so if viewings or work needed carried out within the house, they would be respectful and quiet if needed. Never had any issues with the house and things were always dealt with promptly. I stayed in the house for 2 years and it has honesty been the best renting experience for me, after living in the NE for over 5 and a half years solely renting. I would’ve stayed longer however I am planing to move abroad! Ellen has always been my go to and I can not credit her enough! Thank you for everything. Would recommend!

When we've had appliances break we've contacted them and they've been repaired or replaced within a week, usually within a few days. I stayed with Fraser Grant for 2 years. The first year was a bit problematic but the second year was great. I think the first year was that way as we were a big house and looking back didn't look after it very well. The second year went really well, it was very easy because the house was kept clean and our big end of year clean was very good. Compared to some horror stories I've heard with other student letting agencies Fraser Grant is a good one to go with as long as you respect the properties.

I rented a flat through Fraser Grant for 2 years while a student in Newcastle. Having had a particularly bad experience previously with a different student letting agency Fraser Grant proved to be far better in comparison. The viewing and application process was simple and clear, and the flat was in good condition upon moving in as well as all the relevant documents being provided along with the keys. During the two years I rented, we were always given at least 24 hours notice if access was required to the flat for viewings/maintenance though typically more warning was given. While a number of problems with the flat did arise they weren't the fault of the letting agency and were promptly fixed as soon as the issue was raised via phone/email. Communication was always clear and responses came in a timely fashion. Overall I would recommend renting from Fraser Grant following my experience. The rent did increase ever so slightly after the first year of renting however given the great location and condition of the property along with how helpful and friendly the staff were when communicating with us it was well worth it.

The people were friendly, they weren't intrusive at all, and they were always available to talk about any issues we encountered. I chose Fraser Grant to find and look after the tenants and manage the maintenance in my HMO property in Jesmond because they are an experienced, local firm of long standing and good reputation whose prime business is only in lettings. They have always provided a good service and have been efficient, reasonable and responsive in dealing with any issues raised by the tenants. Most recently a group of disrespectful tenants left the property in a terrible state - filthy with considerable damage - and I am most grateful to the Fraser Grant team for responding so quickly to organise repairs, cleaning and repainting in time to ensure that it was fully ready again in a good state for new tenants within just a few days.

I have experience with Fraser Grant as a tenant in a 2 bed property and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Myself and my flatmate chose to stay with them for 1 and a half years before moving on to new cities and jobs. When we moved in, the house had recently been renovated to a high standard and was nice and clean. The team we dealt with, Andrew, Rick and Ellen, are very personable and friendly, and are on hand whenever needed. They were extremely helpful throughout our tenancy when any problems arose (plumbing issues, oven getting old etc.) and arranged flexible solutions without hassle or arguments - which is not always the case with other letting agents around Newcastle! Anything that needed to be sorted was done so smoothly. You really feel like they are on your side and they are reasonable about wear and tear when you move on. If I look to live in Newcastle again, I will go to them first to see what is available. The service they provide is worth it!

I highly recommend Fraser Grant as an estate agent. I lived in Newcastle for 5 years and they are without a doubt a cut above the rest. They take great care in their properties which really shows. If there was ever a problem someone from the agency was around in under an hour to sort it. There are no hidden fees and deposits are small. This is unique to their estate agent and you honestly won't get this experience with other agencies. I have nothing but positive comments and would recommend them to anyone renting a house in the Jesmond area. 10/10 !

Edit (3 stars) (11/16): BE WARNED - if you're wanting to stay for more than your fixed term, this agent charges renewal fees and charges the tenant. This was not made clear to us at the beginning of the tenancy, nor is stated in the tenancy agreement. Other communication has improved over the past months, all issues have eventually been resolved. First Post (2 stars) (08/16): I haven't had the greatest experience renting a property managed by Fraser Grant. I have had issues since moving into the property and most still haven't been resolved despite living here nearly a month. Emails often feel patronising and unhelpful which has led to unnecessary stress and conflict.

Definitely recommend Fraser Grant if you are looking for a professional letting agent. Properties are well looked after and they care for tenants, always answering queries quickly and ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible.

After spending 6 years in Newcastle using different letting agencies I can assure that Fraser Grant is the best company I have come acrross. Their properties are maintaned to the highest standards in the area (I've looked around properties from other agencies and the standard is awful in comparison). I have not a single bad word to say about Fraser Garnt and so it shocks me to read some of the comments below (seems like one bitter customer on fake accounts). As a letting agency they try to assess the quality of their clients before renting to them, seen as they only have excellent properties they only want tenants who will look after them! This seems entirely fair to me, and when I read some of the comments below it seems that maybe those tenants weren't quite the usual clientele of this company!! I can honestly say that their properties are second to none in the area, the staff who represent them are never patronising and will be around to help whenever they can. They have gone out of their way in the past to help and they are very fair. If you look after their properties they will look after you. Thanks for everything Fraser grant!
