Outstanding service in finding tenants for my flat in Jesmond. I am a single property landlord, having purchased a flat when my son was at Uni. When he left, I was finding tenants myself, with help from another agent. This was sometimes a hit and miss operation. How glad I was to find Next Move Properties about 9 years ago. Since using their tenant find service, there have been no issues with maintaining occupancy over this period. Their standard of service is excellent, they are efficient and very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Nathan and Lorraine to any landlord wishing to find tenants for a flat they own. Their service and quality standards continue to improve each year.

I'd fully recommend Next Move Properties! I rented two different properties from Next Move for the final two years of my degree and I am so glad! Both Nathan and Lorraine are incredibly friendly and warm, and make you feel comfortable to contact them with any problems. The two houses that I stayed in (each for a year) were kept to a very high quality. Next Move were always really responsive if there were ever an issues. When it came to moving out and cleaning the house, Nathan advised us on the cleaning - highlighting where needed extra attention and what we could do to ensure we would receive our deposit back. I really valued this advice and we received our full deposit back both times! Overall my experience was 100% positive and I can't think of a single fault - thanks for an enjoyable and easy experience Nathan and Lorraine!

I recommend Next Move properties to anyone I know who is looking for housing in Newcastle. Nathan and Lorraine have been fantastic for the past 2 years we've been with them. Any issue gets sorted ASAP (sometimes the same day!) and they genuinely care that you are a happy tenant which is a rare find these days. Their service is completely honest, with no hidden catches. Nathan even advised us when he didn't think a property of theirs was worth going for, which shows they do care. Don't go with any of the big letting agents in Newcastle, I've heard bad things about pretty much all of them and nothing but praise for Next Move :)

My flat came upon Next Move by chance after looking with a lot of other agencies in Newcastle, that had a reputation of scamming students with cleaning bills etc. After being with Next Move for my second year I can't imagine there is a better letting agency in Newcastle. Nathan and Lorraine are lovely people, with a lovely dog, who were very attentive, friendly, and reliable throughout my entire year. From the start, Next move made it clear they were on our side and wanted us to be happy in our accommodation. Before we moved in, Next Move made sure that we had good quality sofas, the oven was replaced and the washing machine was fixed. It was a nice feeling moving into a flat where everything worked, as many of my friends had moved into flats where boilers, ovens, washers etc. had not been working. In the event of something in the flat breaking, Nathan was always very quick to solve the problem. I remember my blinds broke, I texted Nathan, he came within an hour and had the blinds fixed that morning. I also had a leak in my ceiling and Nathan organised that to be fixed within a couple of hours. This was unlike anything I had heard with student properties before. Next Move always told us well in advance of any work that was going to be done in the house, and viewings that were going to take place. This meant we never had anything forced upon us short notice. Towards the end of our tenancy, we received lots of helpful emails to do with returning our keys, cleaning and leaving the house so we'd get our deposit back. Overall, whist living with Next Move I felt comfortable, homely, and able to concentrate on the other aspects of my life without worrying about issues with my flat. I have never written a review before, but I felt I had to for this company who made student living very easy for me and my flatmates. I highly recommend Next Move as a friendly letting agency for those who want to feel accommodated and have a peaceful mind. :) :) :) p.s. the cleanest flat each year gets a crate of beer and a certificate.

I would definitely recommend Next Move to any group of students looking to rent in Newcastle. Unlike the larger agencies, Next Move seems to really care about their customers, and the level of communication and support given is second to none. Myself and my housemates had a great experience with the agency while at University. Nathan in particular was incredibly friendly, and was a massive help to us throughout the year, helping us to sort out any issues that we had! Anyone looking to rent should definitely consider using Next Move.

Couldn't fault Next Move at all. Everything was a smooth process from start to finish. We've had bad experiences with letting agents in Newcastle in the past, so couldn't have been happier to find an agent that was responsive, friendly and professional the whole way through. It always felt like our experience as tenants was their priority, which can't be said for some agencies! Any problems with the property, electric, heating etc and Nathan was on hand straight away to help, and if he couldn't help it was always a quick and easy process getting someone out. There was never any issues getting hold of either Nathan or Lorraine at the office and they were always on hand to offer advice if needed. Only wish we had found this agency sooner!

I cannot recommend next move enough, I do not have a single bad thing to say. Absolutely amazing!! Lorraine & Nathan are so lovely. Any problems were fixed ASAP, if not the same day. Nathan and Lorraine at Next Move are absolutely brilliant. If there was anything wrong with the property e.g. once my curtains fells down, Nathan was round that day to fix them. They are so responsive and are there for whatever you need. Would whole heartedly recomend Next Move to anyone looking to experience what property managers/landlords should be like. In 6 years renting in Newcastle (6 different landlords), the team at Next Move have by far been the best landlords/property managers I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Nathan & Lorraine were outstanding from day one, right up until move out. Nathan was an extremely friendly, easy going and down to earth point of contact during our tenancy. Ensuring any issues raised were rectified immediately, by coming out within hours to assess and arranging for work to be carried out or appliances replaced on the same day or a within few days maximum. I must also give praise to the ease and quickness of the deposit return process. With Nathan coming out to check the property within hours of keys being returned (checks made after we left due to COVID 19 social distancing measures) and our deposits released the next day!!! I can't praise Nathan & Lorraine enough. Absolutely amazing, and if it wasn't for me and my girlfriend purchasing our first home, we would still be letting from Next Move. I lived in a Next Move property last year for my final year of uni and it was perfect. The property was incredibly reasonably priced considering the space and location, and Nathan our agent immediately organised a new oven to be put in place when we moved in after our request. Throughout our tenancy, Nathan was incredibly helpful and prompt at dealing with any issues regarding the property, of which there were few. Replying within hours, things would be sorted either by him or by equally friendly and helpful workers that he would bring in to solve the problem. I fear that after having Next Move Properties as an estate agent my standards will be too high for the future! Definitely would recommend going for these instead of any other estate agent in Newcastle since I have heard nightmare stories about them and Next Move have been a dream.

Nathan and Lorraine at Next Move have looked after our 3 bedroom property for almost 3 years now and can not fault them at all. Next move are fantastic, we were with them for two years in a student let and its been such a hassle free tenancy. They normally replace/fix anything within the day or next day. The admin fees are the lowest I've found and they sorted out all the council tax forms for us. Nathan is always really friendly, giving plenty of notice for any viewings and guidance on how to get your full deposit back, which we received with no problems. I would very happily give Next Move my business again!

Brilliant agency. Nathan couldn't do enough for us - any issues were sorted promptly, and he was always straight to the rescue when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the flat (which was shamefully often). The flat itself was great - all of Next Move's properties seem to be of a really high standard. Having had numerous problems in my second year of study with housing and having to go to the DPS over dispute of a number of charges unfairly thrown at myself and my 2nd year housemates with another company I went into my third year of study with a determination not to be unfairly accused and made sure to put my new rented accommodation under large amounts of scrutiny in order to prevent the same problems happening again. Assuming Next move would be exactly the same as the previous letting agency I had been with I found them to be extremely different to the larger agencies and far more suitable for students to let with. Consistently Next move proved me wrong and helped us in a number of ways throughout the year including a final inspection done by Nathan in which he notified us of problems we may be charged for and so need to focus on before we moved out. This is something not done by many other agencies and appears to be a way they can charge unfairly students for the smallest details that if like Nathan simply pointed out would take a small amount of time to clean and sort out. Next Move returned our full deposit despite there being small amounts of damage to the property that had occurred throughout the year spent with them and consistently were communicating with us and friendly to us and I would recommend to any students looking at housing in Newcastle to consider Next Move as they appear to truly look after students rather than see them as an ability to make quick and easy money off.

Such a good student letting agency, really makes a difference having staff who cares about you, especially compared to how rubbish many of the big letting agents are in the area. Excellent service from this company. All jobs reported were dealt with promptly and the information supplied at the end of the tenancy was excellent. Nathan even provided a suggestion of the type of products to use to get the flat to a standard expected, which resulted in the return of the full deposit. Only wish we had know about this company for the previous year instead of using Walton Robinson, who were an absolute nightmare to deal with.
