Attempting to buy a property can be very stressful, particularly when there are other extenuating circumstances such as employment commencement dates, and tying these in to the property acquisition deadlines. Pat Robson have been very helpful with our move to a new property. The property is lovely and they have liaised with the property owner well on our behalf. There was a little confusion around the payments to be made before release of keys and the parking permit, and I tried to clarify this a few times before getting an understanding which I think could have been improved by clear communication between the different members of staff. However, on the whole I feel that Pat Robson have been helpful and we have moved into the new property without issue. They are friendly and approachable and I would feel able to talk to them about anything in relation to the property.

As a group of 6 girls, we rented a house with Pat Robson Jesmond for 2 years. We were always able to get in contact with Chris if we needed him and always reported any problems we had. The agency fees were fairly similar to other agencies in the area and we signed the tenancy agreement and sorted all the documents straightaway. This was ideal to know 9 months in advance that we had a property sorted and ready for us when we moved wanted to move in. The house was not cleaned when we moved in but soon felt like home! The check out was painless and easy and couldn't have asked for more!

After a period of letting I decided to instruct PatRobson, and was delighted to have done so. Their determined professional attitude to the sale was very evident from first contact, and in contrast to my earlier experiences. The suggestions from Tim as to how the prospects for sale might be enhanced were very helpful. Marketing materials were put together quickly; viewings were achieved within 24 hours of going online, and an offer accepted within the next 24 hours. Charlotte was very helpful in moving things along to completion. Despite the ongoing problems of Brexit, and the coronavirus pandemic, their service couldn't have been bettered.

Agency fees were very competitive compared to that in the area. The initial contact with agent was great, she showed us around the properties effectively and tended to our every need. The paperwork was completed extremely fast and efficiently and we were moved in within a few days. They also negotiated price with landlord which was a bonus in our behalf. Once in the property and issues that occurred were usually felt with quite promptly, effective communication from Paula meant that we were happy with the service. However, the service could have been improved in a few areas. The emergency service line needs to be 24 hours and I wasn’t keen on people having the keys to my flat and letting themselves in. I also would have liked a days notice of ANYONE that was planning on coming around, this includes: tradesmen, delivery people, the agents or the landlord. Other than that the documents they provided on cleaning and maintenance were clear and easy to follow, in most places they were also just other than the cost of replacement and figment of bulbs but I guess this is to ensure tenants leave the property exactly how they found it and that’s fair enough. Overall happy with the service and have recommended them to friends looking for housing in the near future.

I am impressed by the service Pat Robson provides, including these aspects: 1) a smartly designed website that gives you large pictures to the properties and a easy to use search function, plus the option to pay fees online 2) excellent communication from and between staff - they have multiple branches around Newcastle - I had to return my signed inventory and I went to the wrong branch, but the staff there kindly scanned and sent it to the right person on my behalf; also the agent who showed me the flat went on leave but she made sure another staff member was there at the viewing so that the latter could take over easily; 3) document signing is done electronically with a system that is very intuitive to use - this means I could finish confirming everything and move in asap, which is perfect in my case as I had very little time to move out of my last property. All in all they offer a kind of professionalism and flexibility that only a bigger agent can provide. Kudos!

Carla Downey from Pat Robson was really accommodating on the viewings that took place at my property, she even got new tenants confirmed from the first day the viewings begun which helped a very stressful situation for me, couldn’t have asked it to go any smoother! And also Ryan Morris was great when I moved out and and made sure everything was sorted so I didn’t have to stress as moving out can be a handful and a lot to take in within a timescale!
