We have recently moved our property to Slater and Brandley and have found them to be extremely professional and friendly, always responding quickly to our communications. They have been very efficient in organising refurbishment to our property whilst we are between tenants. Special thanks to Kevin for his help and support with all the minor repairs and decorations which were to a very high standard and he was always willing to help and advise. Matthew and Joanna have been excellent in finding us suitable new tenants. They are both very professional and we would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone else. Brilliant service from Matthew at Slater & Brandley. Had a fantastic viewing of a property with Matthew. He had good knowledge of the property and the area which for someone who isn't from Nottingham is extremely valuable. Matthew is very quick and easy to communicate with via both email and phone and is always keen to answer questions and queries. This was my first time renting a property and the whole process was a breeze. Matthew was a very responsive and helpful agent and was able to get things sorted very quickly and efficiently. My only little downfall was that the property we moved into (Rented) was very dirty and had not been cleaned for our arrival. Also the heating was not working. Not sure if this was the responsibly of Matthew but it would have been nice not to have to clean the whole house and also have heating. Used S&B twice now due to the horrendous uproar of student accommodation throughout Nottingham making it very difficult for locals to find anywhere to live. S&B are great at ensuring each of their properties are well presented and well priced. I started off in a house share where I paid £350 bills included in a beautifully presented shared home and the whole process was so easy. None of my queries were ever ignored and they really do protect your money. I am now out of a house share and in a 3 bed house, so thankful for Matthew.H because I never thought we'd be able to secure this so quickly - 5* for your customer service! The only thing that could make this overall review even better is if they had more 1 bed/studio homes available for those who want their own space as this is the biggest issue in Nottingham currently. Only downside are renewal fees when we were told there would not be any more fees after the application fees, but I guess a lot of letting agents charge for renewals these days. I rented through Slater and Brandley for a year while working on placement. It was very easy to get started and everything was signed online. Issues such as fire alarms going off were always sorted quickly. There were several issues during my time renting but the majority of these were sorted straight away. Some, however, never got sorted. A memorable incident was when 'tree surgeons' arrived at 6am on a Saturday morning and started cutting down a tree in the front garden. Turns out this was the landlord who had organised this and not Slater and Brandley. I would rent through Slater and Brandley again if the right property came up.

Excellent landlord, the best I've had so far. Every situation no matter how little is dealt with professionally. I have been with Slater and Brandley for over two years now and have no complaints. I usually communicate with them only when their is an issue, and they are swift to respond and resolve the problem most times within days, an example of this is recently for some reason to lock on my front door got stuck in place and we were unable to lock the door from inside, i reported this to Slater and Brandley via email late in the evening, by midday the next day I had a call from a contractor wanting to find out if someone was home to repair the lock. By the time i got home at 5pm a new lock was on my front door with a new set of keys. Thank you guys, i really appreciate all your hard work. This is one less thing i have to worry about. :) Josie

I would highly recommend Slater and Bradley as house agents as I am very satisfied from their service. They have been really responsive to my queries and in general they were really happy to send the right person to carry out maintenance activities. They do make quarterly inspections of the house, but they let me know well in advance and also send me an inspection report afterwards.
