From start to finish nothing was too much trouble and our properties were on the market very soon after we had asked LT&C to sell the properties for us. The viewings were arranged promptly after prospective buyers had shown interest and once the sale of each property had been agreed the progress of the sales was managed expertly and efficiently. My Wife and I started looking for our future home in Plymouth earlier this year, being from outside of the area it was somewhat difficult to schedule appointments to view properties with the many Estate Agents that we were registered with to ensure the best prospect of making our journeys to Plymouth worthwhile and having more that one property to view. En route to view properties with other agents our Son (who lives locally) contacted us to advise that Lang Town and Country had just taken a property on that we might wish to view. We contacted Lang Town and Country (who we had not registered with) and asked if there was any chance of viewing the property at a time that suited our other viewings. Lang Town and Country were happy to schedule an appointment for us withing a matter of a few hours that same day. We arrived as agreed mid afternoon to view the property to be met by Sam. She was very helpful, knew the area and answered all of our questions. A great ambassador for the Company. Subsequently we offered on the property and finally reached an acceptable figure to purchase. At all stages of the process we were kept fully informed by Nikki and the other members of the Team who we spoke too over the weeks leading up to completion. At all times we were met with courtesy and politeness and even when I asked for another viewing just before exchange in order to check something that was concerning me Lang Town and Country obliged. All in all Judith (my Wife) and I have been delighted in our dealings with all members of the Team and the way they conduct business. Buying and selling properties as we know can be fraught with frustration and worries, our view is that this has been by far the best experience we have had with an Estate Agent, and trust me we have had a few with buying and selling here in the UK as well as in Bulgaria and more recently France. Save yourselves the bother and based on our experience we have been delighted to use Lang Town and Country, we will certainly have further dealings as the need demands without hesitation. As the old advert for Carlsberg used to imply "if Carlsberg did Estate Agents it'd be Lang Town and Country". James Clarke and the team at Lang Town have been involved with Foliot House, our 21-unit development in Crownhill, from the start. Even before we purchased the site, James was instrumental in helping us appraise the deal, giving us the benefit of his local market knowledge and providing comparables to support our purchase. After we had purchased the building, James spent time helping us get floorplans just right for the target market, making suggestions that cleverly optimised the use of the space. The team at Lang Town have been proactive with sales and marketing throughout, liaising with our design team and ensuring early reservations were secured. James organised a successful launch weekend (thankfully just before the first lockdown in 2020), at which around half the units were reserved. Despite the global pandemic, Lang Town continued to market Foliot House, and secured all 21 sales before the end of the year - no small achievement given the dramatic events this year has thrown at us. From start to finish, Lang Town & Country have provided a professional, responsive and incredibly effective service. They have been relentless in progressing sales and Help To Buy applications, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to developers and homeowners alike.

My offers were responded to promptly and once we'd agreed a price, the sale process was handled very well. There were multiple bumps in the road but none of these were the fault of the estate agent and Debbie, the Sales Progressor, was extremely helpful throughout acting as a go-between with myself and the seller's legal team, I doubt we would have completed on time without her attentiveness and hard work.

Providing me with a personal email address for Mr Rabin has helped me become 'in the know' with any up and coming properties that are instructed on the market. They personalise their contact and make you feel like you are the only person looking for a property. Although the lettings team were helpful and friendly while out on viewings, myself and my boyfriend decided we would like to buy. In 2015 we had finished our home (5 bed, waterside, high spec) when we found another property and moved. I had happily and without incident let properties since 2000 using newspaper adverts then social media etc finding and managing lets myself, ( I am a Plymouth City Council Accredited landlord) i wasn't happy about placing it on gum tree! I approached Lang Town and Country and met Penni at the property she talked me through the options. Initially i had thought i would simply use the tenant find as they have established relationships with markets to relocating professionals, forces personnel and prospective tenants i had no idea how to reach. On discussing further i chose the managed option for the property. Feeling secure that the enthusiastic professional young team combined with experienced management and accounts back up warranted the management fees for our beautiful home. I now place all new tenancy finds with the team, their platforms for finding tenants, referencing, arranging any certification necessary (gas safety, epc'S etc) is slick, friendly and stress free. Pictures taken are fabulous as are the videos. I could do it, but the peace of mind that comes from their careful tenant matches is well worth the fee. I needed to find a place to stay in Plymouth quickly, Town and County lettings were very accommodating I approached several agents but this agent was able to show me a property the same day for a reasonable price, a modest one bedroom flat in a great location on The Hoe. They even provided a bottle of wine when moving in. When looking to sell our house in Plymstock there really was only one choice especially having bought it through LTC. Ours sold within 2 days and Paul, Andy and the whole team kept patient with us whilst we found our new home which they also found for us. The service on both our sale and purchase was second to none and they kept us informed every step of the way even calling when there was no update. Having registered with other agents in the area some were not even really interested in finding us a house, sending us details of anything even if it did not fit our criteria. If you are looking for an agent which is pro-active do not look elsewhere with very competitive fees. Do not fall for the low fee agents patter they really do not provide the same level of service and will drive you insane at a hugely stressful time.
