Having rented through two other agencies in Plymouth and not exactly had the best experience, Student Life have restored my faith. Maintenance response and repairs have been the issue in the past but Student Life have an amazing maintenance manager and we found essential repairs were dealt with really quickly. I lived with Student Life for 1 year and they were the best letting agency I've used in my 3 years at university. The level of professionalism and reliability is outstanding. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. The communication was really strong, especially from Ria who always kept us updated! The agency was always helpful and always had a friendly attitude. I was very impressed by the way the agency handled the Covid-19 situation. They were very understanding and did everything they could to help us - which is the kind of attitude you need from a student letting agency, but don't see very often in other agencies. I would definitely recommend Student Life - the best letting agency in Plymouth. I have had a great year with them!

Best letting agency I've used in the 4 years I've lived in Plymouth. Very quick to get back to me on any problems. Properties I've stayed in were high quality, especially for the reasonable prices. They also provide well priced storage options for the summer which has made the moving process so much easier. Would heartily recommend.

Our most current landlord Kevin Bateman who is part of the team at student life has been exceptionally helpful throughout start to finish of our tenancy, he has sorted out any issues or problems we have had straight away and he has completely changed my opinion on student accommodation landlords, as a previous landlord I had was very unhelpful and Kevin was able to alleviate my previous worries. I have dealt with Student Life since November 2017, and I can honestly say they have provided a fantastic service. My experience as a tenant, who has lived in one of their properties for two years, has been amazing from start to finish. The whole team, in particular Ria and Kevin, have always been incredibly helpful with me and my housemates. Most Letting Agencies in Plymouth have not offered any financial support for their student tenants, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, however Student Life have been incredible at arranging a financial solution offering support to those affected. The team at Student Life specialise in 'second to none' communication, and are incredibly proactive at responding to emails and queries. Any issues that have arisen within the property have always been addressed quickly and maintenance works have been carried out to the highest standard. I feel the rental prices have been very reasonable and we all felt we were getting great value for money. This letting agency deserves the highest of recommendations, you can't fault their efficiency and friendly approach to student letting. They are incredibly reliable and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for student accommodation within Plymouth. A massive thank you to the whole team at Student Life!

I have worked with The Lettings Company for 18 months now and I have to say they has made the whole experience of letting our house to students, so much easier. Nothing is too much trouble. They have handled everything from the outset. They are pleasant to work with,approachable and understanding. We had used another agency prior to using The Lettings Company and I have to say there just is no comparison. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I for one will be using them for all my future lettings. Update: Aug 2015 Still using The Lettings Company and will carry on doing so. Kevin Bateman is still as attentive as he was at the beginning. Nothing is too much trouble and he looks after landlords and students alike. We don't live in Plymouth and have left everything to Kevin to handle on our behalf. I trust him completely to look after our property. I cannot recommend The Letting Company highly enough. Excellent service.

I am not normally one to write reviews however I believe it’s important to recognise when a company excels. I was a jaded tenant who has in the past felt as though I was jumping through hoops to satisfy the agents......... who would then ask astronomical fees for the privilege. My views have completely changed since dealing with The Lettings Company. Polite, friendly and super-efficient. All was done electronically and all correspondence was answered fast The only time I stepped into their office was to pick up the keys. This is a company I would happily recommend!
